Day 1

All stood in the Control Room after the lunch looking for their individual tasks.

"The databases are installed. Let's get set to work. " Ragini said checking all the systems.

"I have contacted Doval Sir to fulfil our requirements. They will reach by this evening. Also, he might be reaching here any moment with our seniors for further progress. " Sartaaj told all of them.

"Great." Vihaan, Laksh and Jai said all together while Pallavi nodded.

Meeting Hall

All sat discussing the leads they had got while Ajit Doval and other Seniors were present too.

"The weapons on Indo-China are from the same terrorist group Sir. That certainly means, the planning was going on from long and also there might be some base camps near that area too. " Jai said showing different pictures of ammunition on the screen.

"But there was a long investigation done on that site. We didn't get any lead then."
Pallavi told.

"We investigated what we were told to. There's more to it." Vihaan said agreeing to Jai.

"What if they used Air as a medium to reach there? " Ragini questioned.

"That area comes under my control and no foreign jet or plane was detected." Laksh said.

"Hmmm... A part of the team shall thoroughly check those zones. We might get some lead. " The NSA suggested.

"Sure Sir. " Sartaaj said noting down the major points.

"Sir, we inspected the crime scene too through satellite surveillance and we found two more hidden tunnels to get into Kashmir. Here are the pictures. " Ragini showed them the captured images.

"This time, the group of terrorists had used them to go in and out of Kashmir and our sources have told us that except Adil Dar who is now dead, all of the other members have returned back the same night. " Pallavi said.

"Hmmm....We have let go off a major opportunity! " Ajit Sir removed his specs and rubbed his eyes for a stressful minute.

"But what about the civillians who were involved in the plan? " Jai was thinking when suddenly he heard Vihaan.

"Sir, Adil was a civillian. There might be many more. Maybe we could get some information from them. "
Vihaan told them. Jai was shook.

"Wonderful! Look out for them and go on with the interrogation. " Ajit Sir said out of a momentary relief.

"Yes Sir! " Sartaaj said and noted down another point. While Jai just crumpled a piece of paper which was in his hand and cooled himself down.

Ragini noticed him and felt a little nervous. She kind of understood that he was thinking the same. But it wasn't Vihaan's fault too after all he too thought of it from his individual mind.

She had seen Vihaan in the same situations too when Jai used to speak out first.

She kept quite. While Laksh noticed her strange expressions.

"I would like to discuss one thing more." Ajit Sir said before the meeting ended.

All gave him a cue.

"Special forces and Air Force shall resume their training. You will be called during interrogation. NIA, RAW and DSD from Military Intelligence will do the investigation part." He told them.

"Yes Sir. " All nodded and left after the formal addresal.

Control Room

"We will leave tomorrow morning for the training sections and will join you all in the evening. " Laksh told the investigating department that included Ragini, Pallavi and Jai.

"Vihaan Sir, Ghatak Force and JAT regiment is arriving tomorrow morning. General has asked you to address them. "
Sartaaj told Vihaan who was planning out his schedule for the next few days.

"Okay. Laksh...we need to leave by three in the morning. That is eight hours later. " Vihaan said.

"Sure Sir. " Laksh nodded.

"You are joining me for tomorrow's site inspection at Indo China Border. So, you are going for your training section tomorrow evening. Para Commandos are the ones going for the morning time. " Jai told Laksh.

All looked at Jai for a moment.

"And when was this told? "
Vihaan asked him with a weird tone.

"The time you were busy attending a Bryan Adam concert in your Lalala Land. " Jai replied straight and kept on doing his work.

Ragini and Pallavi stiffled a chuckle while Laksh's eyes opened widely.
Sartaaj pretended as if he didn't listen.

"Are we kids Jai? No we aren't! "
Vihaan said gritting his teeth. Pallavi was seeing this shade of him for the very first time.

"Did I say we are kids Vihaan? No I didn't. " He replied back frowning.

"Oh well, you don't need to say, your behaviour is even more childish than your five year old son. "
Vihaan shot back.

All were just looking at two of them a little worried.

"If you would have focussed on the meeting rather than analysing my childish behaviour, you would have known when Wing Commander was supposedly ordered to go with me for the inspection. " Jai said getting more agitated.

"Stop it. Will you? You don't need to question my focus. If you remember, I got two more marks than you in the focus ability test. " Vihaan replied.

"Numbers-------" Jai was cut off.

"Let's please end this. This is not what we are supposed to do. Kindly respect the foundation of a team." Pallavi finally raised her voice stopping both of them.

They went quite and then looked at each other for a moment.

"Sorry. " They both said together.

"Thank you. " Ragini joined her hands in front of them and sighed.

Vihaan and Jai embarrasedly got back to their works.

All heaved a sigh of breathe.

Later that night,

It was time to leave. Vihaan was standing infront of his locker taking out his belongings when Laksh came there. He looked at him and then smiled.

"What are you thinking? " Vihaan asked him.

"That when was I ordered for the inspection. " Laksh said making Vihaan chuckle.

"NSA didn't say it infront of all. The orders might have come later. " Vihaan said.

"Then why was Jai Sir.. " Laksh couldn't complete when Vihaan answered.

"He was just pulling my leg. " Vihaan smiled and shook his head in disbelief.

Parallely,

"I was just teasing him Ragini. That's all. " Jai told Ragini who was sitting on the front of his car in parking.

"What made you so apart from him Bhai? You were best friends with him!" Ragini said dejectedly.

"Maybe, we weren't meant to be best of friends. " He said chuckling at his stupid theory.

"What rubbish! " Ragini scrunched her nose at his reply making him chuckle even more.

"How can I say that? Differences don't come after telling you. They just come. And I don't know why every person close to me seems to be going apart from me. " He said getting serious over his lines. Ragini was confused.

"There is nothing like that. Just like nothing is permanent in the world, so is the enmity or differences. You just need to take a step forward. That's it! "
Ragini said smiling. He thought on her words and then smiled.

"You're right maybe. " He said with a short smile.

"You know what bhaiya, my brother is a really nice man. He doesn't deserve your hate. Neither you do. " She said coming down of the car's front and standing face to face with him.

Jai chuckled at her words.

"Who said we 'hate' each other? Hahaha! " He laughed.

Here,

"Not at all. We don't hate each other. Do you think am that stupid to hate a person like him?" Vihaan said laughing.

"Then... Then why do you guys give those enmity vibes?" Laksh asked confused.

"Laksh, Hate is such a harsh word. No. I don't hate him. I like him as a person he is. But, we don't bond now! That's it. " Vihaan told Laksh.

"You guys are a riddle in your own self! What is this new theory now? " Laksh asked agitated making Vihaan laugh.

"I don't hate him but I maybe don't love him as much as I loved him before. That's it. " He says getting uneasy on his words.

"Is there some past? " Laksh asked.

"Haha. No.. Nothing like that. We just drifted apart. " He told him.

"Mind if I say something? " Laksh said.
"Go on! " Vihaan nodded.

"You see the similarity between both of you in a wrong way. You just need to change your perception! " He said smiling.

Vihaan registered his words in his mind and then smiled back but said nothing over it.

"So, All the best for your investigation. Will see you soon!" Vihaan smiled at him.

"Offcourse! " Laksh smiled back and they both shared a hug.

With Jai and Ragini,

"You still remember his favourite singer, huh? Not Bad. " She said punching on his shoulder.

"Award me with Bharat Ratna for remembering such a vital information! " Jai said chuckling making Ragini chuckle too.

"You should go in now. We will meet tomorrow morning. Okay? " Jai said.

"Yeah. Bye. Take care. " Ragini smiled and giving him a hug started walking in the office while Jai drove off.

As she went in, she found Laksh standing already.

"Hey! Did you talk to him? " She asked coming running towards him.

"Yeah. It's all cool. No need to worry much. " Laksh said smiling.

"Same here. " She smiled.

They started walking together.

"They do have the sense of maturity inside them. And that's enough. You don't need to push them towards each other. " Laksh said sighing.

"I miss them as friends. " She said remembering the good old days.

"This mission will surely revive that bond. Don't worry. " He said smiling. She smiled too.

"Laksh!! " They heard a voice from back.

"Bhabhi? " Ragini said as she saw Pallavi walking towards them stressed a little. They too started walking in her direction.

"What happened? Why are you so worried? " Laksh asked getting concerned.

"Come to the control room fast. I have got something! " She said taking them to the control room.

They stood infront of her PC and followed her direction. There were some pictures.

"What is this? " Laksh asked.

"This is an old school in between the trees of Balakot. This is definitely a training camp. Look at this area carefully." She said pointing out.

"These are marks of grenade blasts. " Ragini identified them.

"Exactly! " Pallavi said.

"Save this to the drive. Let's show this tomorrow morning positively. " Ragini said to Pallavi.

"Yeah. " She nodded.

"There might be more like this in the same area. Oh Shit! Maybe the base camps at Indo China might be hidden the way they are here! " Laksh concluded.

"It is possible." Ragini nodded.

Three of them looked on.

Screen freezes.
