Chapter three
While the ghost of Naruto's memory lingered like an unsolved riddle, the Hidden Leaf Village had moved forward into a golden age.
Over the span of seventeen years, Konoha transformed entirely.
The old wooden architecture gave way to a towering metropolis of steel and glass, with massive skyscrapers piercing the clouds and international shops and restaurants lining the paved streets At the center of this modern superpower was the legendary legacy of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki.
Their four younger children had fulfilled their destinies, growing into shinobi of mythic proportions.
Kamaboko Namikaze, the oldest of the four, was the spitting image of the Fourth Hokage, right down to the signature whisker marks on his cheeks. Known globally as the "Golden Flash,"
Kamaboko had mastered every complex jutsu in the family arsenal and uniquely wielded brilliant, golden chakra chains.
By age twenty-five, he took over as the Namikaze Clan Head. Today, he was a proud father of three daughters.
Chashu Uzumaki, the second son, inherited his mother's vibrant red hair paired with his father's sharp, calculating eyes and a prominent set of whisker marks.
Dubbed the "Red Hawk," his legendary eyesight allowed him to snipe targets from miles away with a custom crossbow.
At just twenty-two, he became the Uzumaki Clan Head. Driven to rebuild his mother's extinct lineage, he was already a father to six sons.
Nori Namikaze, the oldest daughter, broke the mold with her striking jet-black hair and whisker marks. Groomed from childhood to become the village's first female Hokage.
the twenty-one-year-old had mastered Kushina's most complex sealing formulas. She brought immense wealth and prestige to the village through high-ranking missions, all while raising a young son and daughter.
Menma Namikaze, the youngest daughter, possessed Kushina's features but wore her father's bright blonde hair.
While her siblings chased glory outside the walls, Menma dedicated herself to the people within.
By age twenty-eight, she became a revered Academy Sensei, dedicating her life to molding future generations, while raising her own two sons and a daughter.
In total, Minato and Kushina were blessed with fourteen grandchildren.
Their bloodline was secure, and the village was so prosperous that Minato was actively drawing up blueprints to build a massive grand museum dedicated entirely to the achievements of his four legendary children. Naruto, of course, was completely absent from the plans
For the four siblings, Naruto was a distant, blurry memory from a childhood they had outgrown. They had moved on.
For the fourteen grandchildren, Naruto's very existence was a secret, his name had never once been spoken to them, Yet, the agonizing wonder of their lost son always pulled at Minato and Kushina's hearts.
They constantly found themselves wondering, Is he alive? Does he have a family? Will we ever know the truth?
The answer arrived on an ordinary Tuesday morning, An elite ANBU investigator materialized inside the Hokage's office, kneeling before Minato's desk.
"Lord Fourth," the masked shinobi spoke, his voice tight with unusual urgency. "A reconnaissance team monitoring international civilian media across the ocean just brought this back. We believe you need to see it immediately."
The ANBU unrolled a glossy, modern sports poster onto the desk.
Minato leaned forward, his breath catching in his throat. Staring back at him from the poster was a famous, athletic man captured mid-stride on a massive green field.
He wore a professional athletic uniform, and his hair was neatly cropped and short. But what paralyzed Minato were the unmistakable, sharp whisker marks etched perfectly into the man's cheeks.
The bold text at the top of the poster read: "THE KING OF THE PITCH: The World's Youngest Professional Athlete to Reach 1,000 Goals at Age 25."
Minato's eyes went wide, his hands shaking as he gripped the edges of the desk. The age matched perfectly. The whiskers were undeniable.
"That's my son..." Minato whispered, his voice cracking with a mixture of shock, awe, and overwhelming disbelief.
Naruto hadn't died at sea. He hadn't even become a shinobi. He had conquered a completely different world.
