Chapter 14

The night before the opening of the museum, minato was setting up a large dinner for his whole family.

Minato and Kushina are preparing everything for dinner, setting everything up, knowing this was their first time in over 17 years that they would have their whole family together.

Minato was going to be ahead of the table sitting right next to his wife on one end while the other would be Naruto, mapping out how the rest would go, there was already a large kids table.

Minato's sons and daughters in-laws were not going to come as they were all busy.

It was a bit ironic, seeing the adult table, it was almost like looking back in the past remembering how they all used to sit at that same table 17 years ago.

Minato shook his head as he had got to get everything running along with Kushina's help.

Covered in food stains from all the cooking, kushina took in a deep breath as she had looked up things that are Naruto favorite foods.

"Oh... minato, this will be our first dinner and so long since we had Naruto and the rest of the family all evening at the same table together," Kushina finished up on the last meal.

Minato nodded as he was setting up the table, "you know, we've been hoping this would happen for a long time but...?"

Kushina noticed minato hesitation to finish the sentence, and that made her begin to question something that she didn't know what it was, "but what? What is it? this is a very good thing."

Minato nodded as he finished up the table, "this might honestly be our last time though, I mean after the museum opening and everything, our son Naruto will be leaving the village again and I don't think he'll come back for another dinner."

Kushina stopped what she was doing, knowing that her husband was right, this probably would be their only time with adult Naruto along with the rest of the family here.

"But... But what if it's not?" Kushina ask hoping this really wouldn't be the last time.

Minato walk over towards his wife and put a hand over her shoulder, "I know how you're feeling, believe me I do, but honestly I think the coast will ever get is to be friends with Naruto, I don't think we'll ever be as close as we should have been, if only we had done things different in the past."

Kushina after everything, she didn't got angry, she just started crying as she finish up making the last meal for dinner.

"I know but it's still so hard to accept the fact, I mean perhaps we can convince him to come visit more often?" Kushina was adjusting ideas.

"Well... I suppose it's possible but that's completely up to Naruto," minato said as the two had to hurry everything up and get clean up knowing that all their children will soon be here.

20 minutes later

Everyone had showed up

Kamaboko, Chashu, Nori and Menma.

All of their grandchildren came from behind them.

Minato and kushina greeted them all before heading towards the door and looked to see if Naruto was there.

"Hmm? Maybe he's not here yet?" Minato said as Kushina crossed her arms together and looked sad as she was looking down at the floor.

Kamaboko raises up an eyebrow and walks over to them, "mom? dad? who are you talking about?"

Minato stepped forward, "it's about your brother Naruto."

All four of them took a step back from their parents, it was a surprise as none of them had spoken about their brother in over 17 years.

"Wait is he actually back in the village?" Chashu said as the others came back forward.

Kushina nodded as she looked at her children, "yes, we found your brother and we got him to come for dinner but I don't know when he's supposed to...?"

Knock knock...

When minato quickly grabs the door and opens it, Kamaboko, Chashu, Nori and Menma all gasp as none of them were expecting to see Naruto again after so many years of him being missing.

"Naruto?" Nori said in disbelief as she didn't really believe it but it was her own older brother.

"Big bro... Are you...? Is it really you?" Kamaboko asked as he took a step forward.

Naruto nodded, "yes it's me, it's been a while hasn't it?"

All the children look at Naruto and we're all surprised as they had no idea who Naruto was?

"Wait did dad say brother?" One of the children asked.

Another nodded, "Uncle did said brother!"

Suddenly all the children were amazed and they ran up to hug Naruto, "UNCLE!"

Naruto's eyes went wide as he was completely taken by surprise, and got tackled by a bunch of children.

"Okay, I was not expecting this," Naruto said as he was laughing.

Seeing this, it made Kushina's smile as now they had to work to get all the children off of Naruto.

Sometime later they were all eating at the table, all the children were asking a bunch of questions and Naruto was struggling to keep up as every kid kept asking more and more questions.

"How come we have never seen you before?"

"Where have You been uncle?"

"Were you on a secret mission uncle?"

Naruto couldn't keep up with all the questions but he was laughing, "I got to say your children all definitely have curious minds wanting to know about everything."

Kamaboko had his arms crossed as you look at Naruto, "so... What finally got you to come back?"

"Well, minato here found me and we had a long talk as he offered to come back for a job for the museum?" Naruto explained but then they all got curious.

"Like what? Security? Do you have ways of sculpting for the museum or what exactly do you do?" Menma ask as she was very curious.

"Well I do multiple things but main focus is a professional athlete, I'm a soccer player and a few years ago I reached my thousand goals, I broke world records and even became a global athlete celebrity, I became known as the goat even many other things but I'm also a model, I'm actually having a statue of myself being put into the middle of the museum."

Everyone was surprised and that got all curious about it.

Minato was able to get the grandchildren away so they could talk about the Statue, "okay, I don't want any of you to be surprised but this statue is going to be a naked statue."

All the younger siblings look surprised except for Kamaboko, "hold up, you mean to tell me a naked statue of our older brother Naruto, it's going to be put in the center for everyone to see?"

Chashu looked embarrassed that she was not expecting anything like that to be put into the museum, "dad? why would you even want to do that?"

"Well it's for multiple things, one it's based off the old style statues of Roman and Greek gods, it does promote several different things body positivity, fitness and health, also it represents many different things when it comes to Naruto being a global celebrity, I spoke to the sculptors and we added a few more details to the statue."

Hearing all that Naruto look over at minato, "what kind of other details? I didn't know about any of that?"

Minato took a sip of his water, "you'll see it all tomorrow for the opening, trust me when I say there is a lot that the statue will look so Grand and powerful that everyone's eyes will lay on to it the moment they see it."

Nori who is still looking surprised by all this but was trying to be respectful, "well I don't really fully agree with the idea what type of statue you're going with, but if it's what you think it's best, I suppose it'll be good?"

Later on, Naruto was on the porch getting some fresh air, even trying to get away from those kids as they were trying to kept getting all over him that he had to hide on the porch.

Minato was there as well, "you know why that statue is also being made besides everything I just said?"

"Refresh my memory?" Naruto ask.

"You are the first son of mine as well the very first child of mine and kushina, you are the first one that began the bloodline that has both namikaze and uzumaki, your existence is what began it and even if you don't have children you will always be remembered the first son who went out of his own village and became a global known icon, you are a goat and you have spread your name across the whole world," minato explain.

"I just want you to know Naruto, when you see that statue tomorrow, it's going to be on like anything that has ever been made before, I know it cannot undo all the years and I collect that I and kushina can undo, but still I hope you at least come around back to this village at times to visit not just me and your mother but all of your nephews and nieces they would all love to get a chance to know you," minato said before he left Naruto alone.

It was only a few minutes later but then all four siblings came out, Kamaboko, Chashu, Nori and Menma we're all there now and for the first time it was just the five of them alone in so many years.

"So you really are getting a statue of yourself?" Menma said as she still look surprised, "you know I'm kind of jealous but I'm honestly grateful it's not me who's having a naked statue of myself being put on you see him I mean I do have a few artworks in my victories but none of them are like what I heard."

Nori nodded in agreement, "yeah Dad has technically been commissioning our work of us from our victories and everything face off real famous artwork pieces but none of those are going to have a statues and I know that I think he's going to go all out on you for this one Statue."

Chashu was holding a book and reading it, "dad had to spoke and it's all about you and I have to say so far it's not a bad read."

"Why are you all really here? I mean none of us were really close to each other well none of you were close to me," Naruto said as he was a bit curious to know.

Menma took in a deep breath before she came over to Naruto, "isn't it obvious? We're all surprised that you're here, I mean for a long time we have just accepted that you were gone and we thought none of us were going to see you again, now that you're here it's just... It's just so much honestly."

"Yeah I mean, we all accepted that you were gone for good, and we don't mean that in a bad way it's just how it is, we thought you were just gone and since we were never close, we all just thought we were never going to see you again and we accepted it as reality," Kamaboko explain as he looked down at the floor.

"Yeah but now that you're here it's just... It's like going through so much that we never knew," Nori said as she was going through a few mix of emotions.

"I know this would be a lot to ask but would you ever consider coming to visit us and spend some time with our children, they would all love to get a chance to know what uncle they never knew they had," Chashu suggested as it was the same thing their father did.

"Well let's not try to push anything, I might come by every couple years because this place does have a great nude resort," Naruto said that's all fainted.

Kushina came out and looked down at her children, "Naruto I have been trying to get used to what you been doing, but please don't bring that stuff up around these four, believe me even I'm still getting used to this but you've been doing."

Naruto chuckled before getting up as it was time for him to head back to his hotel room.

Tomorrow was the big opening of the museum.
