Nora transformed into a shakujo* and landed in Fujisaki's hands.

(A/N: A shakujo is a staff with 6 rings attached, normally used by monks.)

"Now Yato~ return to father's side~ Hiyori-chan and your two beloved Regalia is useless." Fujisaki rushed forward and attacked Yato. Yato was angry at him.

"Come!! Sekki! Shunki!"

Both of you tranformed into your weapon forms, as Yukine took the blow from the shakujo. His name was chipped off a little. Yato leaped backwards to prevent any futher attacks.

"Yuki you alright?! And you Haru?!" Yato asked the both of you, who had puzzled expressions. It was the first time you've seen Yato so anxious and worried about you and Yukine.

"We are fine! Don't worry!" You and Yukine replied him, not wanting to burden him and cause him to have a blight.

Fujisaki attacked again, as Yato took the attacks with cautious. Suddenly his shakujo aimed for Yukine, in which Yato was surprised. He immediately threw his sword away from him and pulled you out, shooting him at the face and his shakujo. Both of them leaped backwards, suffering minor injuries. Yato called for his sword to return.

"Yato?! What happened to you?! Why didn't you use me to block the attack?!" Yukine asked anxiously, as he didn't know what was Yato worrying about.

"Yuki, Haru. They are dangerous. They'll kill you if I am not careful, even for just a tiny moment. As your master, I have the responsibility to protect you as my Regalias."

Yato said as he regained his stance, and begin charging forward, determined to kill Fujisaki.

However, Yato left his back open. Hiyori wanted to protect him, but with Fujisaki's defense attack, Hiyori hit a tree and passed out, leaving her body defenseless.

"Hiyori!! Shit!" Yato quickly disengaged the fight with Fujisaki and ran towards Hiyori's real body, where she was almost devoured by the hungry phantoms.

"Yato!! Behind you!!" Yukine shouted at him, warning him of the danger. Taking Hiyori's body and running towards a building, he put her down safely in a room. Yato jumped out of the room through the window, and used his sword to slash Fujisaki. But he evaded within a blink of an eye, landing behind him swiftly. Using his shakujo, he threw towards Yato who did not regain his stance in time. He was shocked. He didn't have enough time to protect both you and Yukine.

He could only choose one Regalia to protect.

Haru or Yuki.

"Sorry Yato.. it's my pleasure to be your Regalia. Let me repay you for saving my life." You gave a smile.

You stood behind Yato and Yukine in a defensive form. You closed your eyes.

The tip of the shakujo hit you.

"Harune!!

Your name was filled with cracks. Yato collapsed to the ground, coughing blood. A blight was formed. Yukine was shocked.

"Yato!! What's happening?! Are you alright?!" Yukine asked him anxiously, as Yato stopped his coughing.

"Mizuchi. Let's go. Yato had enough~" Fujisaki disappeared into thin air, along with the phantoms. Yato stood up and reverted both you and Yukine. You stood for a while before collapsing to the ground. Yato caught you in time, holding you on your shoulder.

"Harune!! Why did you sacrifice yourself to protect me?! You'll die you idiot!!" Yato shouted at you, as you gave a weak smile.

"Isn't a Regalia supposed to protect its master? It's my choice to protect you.." You coughed a little, and descended to darkness before hearing Yato and Yukine's muffled shoutings at your name.

A small piece of your memory was forcibly pried open.

It was a woman, watering the plants and smiling at you. But you couldn't remember who was this woman. You cried. You found yourself tied to a wooden chair.

You were covered in your own blood.

"Yato... why do I keep seeing that woman? She was smiling at me...in a bad way.." You trembled and cried. Yato clenched his fist. He was furious at what Fujisaki did to you. Yato sat on the futon, and gave you a hug. He hugged you tightly, and tears were secretly shed.

You felt nothing.

Screams were heard as the woman put a red hot spoon on your thigh.

You gasped, becoming more and more afraid.

Breaking the hug, Yato took your arm and slid up your sleeves. The name remains, but it was filled with numerous cracks. Yato bit his lip.

"Don't worry Harune, I'll promise I'll-"

Suddenly you begun to change. You mumbled about something that shocked Yato.

To a phantom.

You grabbed Yato by his neck, strangling him.

"My name is Reino Fuyuya!! I died because I was tortured day and night by a woman, till I died! It hurted so much!!Why... Why didn't you save me?! You are a god, right?! " You transformed to a phantom, anger filling you up. Tears were shed. Yato was struggling to keep himself from being strangled to death. Blight begin to form on Yato. It hurted him a lot.

"S...Sorry.. H..Ha..ru.." Yato apologised as he summoned Yukine. Slicing your hand off, Yato landed on the tatami mat. Numerous blight was seen on his body. You screamed in agony.

"Yato.. I..Is that Harune? You are going to use me to kill her!? Why-" Yukine asked as Yato charged forward, slashing at the name. Yukine didn't finish his sentence.

"Haru. Yuki. I am sorry!!" was what Yato said as he slashed you in your name again using his sword. You screamed in agony, before disappearing. Yato was suffering in great pain due to your death and Yukine's sting, as he reverted Yukine and collapsed to the mat, his hand holding to his chest, panting. Nothing was left in the room but a sakura petal landing on the torn futon from the open window, as the wind blows.

"Haru. It's been a long time. I am doing well with Yukine and Hiyori. Yukine is learning botanics, and cared for that sakura tree endlessly. It's a waste for you who didn't get to see it... It's really breathtaking when that sakura tree blooms. Hiyori is in her second year of high school. She said she wanted to be a doctor so that she could help her family and inherit the family business. As for me... I am still taking in job requests... it will take me a long time before I get to be Japan's No. 1 God, hahha... Yukine is a Blessed Regalia now! He's much better when he first came in.. and he's a twin sword!! Even Kazuma was shocked by his transformation in such a short time!"

Yato said as he placed a bunch of sakura flowers under the sakura tree. He sat down beside the tree trunk, tears streaming down.

"Haru... I wish you were here."

It was your "death" anniversary.
