A small bit of light filtered into the den warming Nala up from her spot next to Scar.She opened her eyes and sighed, it was very early in the morning and Scar would not wake for a long time .Nala looked over at the rib cage that her son Goldtuft slept in, his paws dangling upward in the air as he slept.Then Scar rolled over, Nala sat up to get out of his way, she realized that she and Goldtuft may never escape Scars demands of them.And things may be more and more in Scars favor, for Nala was with another cub.

Was this the end for her and the pride lands?She thought as she walked over to her son, nuzzling  him.No,Nala thought looking up from her son she would find a way to escape this monster of a king. Nala slowly picked up the little cub and padded out of the den to the main clearing,she was about to leave when.

"Nala!Where are you going with your cub?"

Nala turned to find Sarafina standing out of her den looking at her, suddenly her eyes widened shen it hit her."What are you going to do with him, your son?"She asked, Nala lay her cub down she knew shoe could mot lie to her mother.

"I'm going to give him to Rafice .Mother you have to see my son needs to be far away from Scar."Sarafina nodded, then Nala picked up her cub and ran toward the jungle.
