Fire, Smoke, and Ashes

Fire...and smoke...when I went to breath, my lungs filled with darkness. This body, separate from my brain, coughed up ashes and cried flames. Everything burned; every movement, every gust of fiery wind. My eyes looked up, saw it falling on top of me, and waited for the end. End the fire. Please. End the pain. My lungs stopped breathing altogether, and my eyes squeezed shut. This is it...

"Rose. Rose!" I jolted awake, breathing fast, but hardly getting any air in. I was shaking uncontrollably.
"No! NO!" I tossed around on the couch in the TARDIS.
"Rose! Stop...stop." He wrapped me up tight so I couldn't toss around any more, and my knees were being hugged to my chest. "Bad dream?" I nodded my head while more tears escaped my eyes. "What happened?" He held me close to him.
"Fire was everywhere. I couldn't breath...almost died..."
"I heard about your mom and Ricky."
"It's Mickey."
"I know." I smiled a little. "I was just trying to get you to smile, and it worked." He smiled back. "I'm sorry. If I could've gotten to you a few hours earlier I could've-"
"It's okay. I know you were doing all you could do. You're here, and that's all that matters to me now." There was a pause for a little while where we just felt the touch of each other, then he seemed to get really excited about something.
"I could take you on a trip."
"Where would we go?"
"Did I ever take you to Barcelona?"
"The planet Barcelona?"
"Yeah."
"I don't think so."
"Well then, it's settled. I'll take you to breakfast in Barcelona and show you all the things there are to see."
"Okay then." He helped me stand up, and then started pulling levers and pushing buttons on the big control center of the TARDIS. The whirring and jolting started, and I went over to help. I remembered it so well for two years of not doing it. We checked the screen and pushed buttons until we landed in the planet of Barcelona.
"Are you ready to have an adventure, Rose?"
