It was a pleasant Saturday morning and Omkara was preparing a coffee for himself when his Firefly ringtone disturbed his peace.

"Yes, Mr. Shastri." Omkara spoke sipping his coffee.

"Sir, I arranged your lunch meeting with Mr. Sandler at 2 PM and then new project presentation by Mr. Harrison at 4 PM."

"Didn't I informed you already to plan my break time at 4, Mr. Shastri?" Omkara asked annoyed.

"Yes sir, but today's Saturday." Arjun said carefully.

"What does that have to with anything?" Omkara growled.

"Gauri don't have college today." Arjun said cautiously.

Ever since Omkara found Gauri fighting the bullies, it became his routine to drop Gauri and her college every morning and pick her up back every evening.

"Listen, Mr. Shastri, I asked to schedule my break at 4 cause, I wanted it. Not because of my immature neighbour, you better hold back your horses." Omkara said in a straight tone.

"Sorry Sir." Arjun said, "I will alter the schedule."

"Erm.. listen, Since you already arranged it, let's continue with the planned schedule today." Omkara deadpanned disconnecting the call.

"God, what's happening with me?" Omkara groaned walking inside the shower.

Ding-Dong

The doorbell rang, just after Omkara finished buttoning up his shirt.

"What's with people and always ringing my door bell." Omkara muttered irritated as he walked towards his door grabbing his dark grey coat.

"Omkara..." Gauri, who was standing in front of his door spoke as soon as he opened the door.

"What now?" Omkara asked cutting Gauri off.

"Can you take me to the movies, please." Gauri asked showing her big eyes.

"No." Omkara said in a straight tone making Gauri's face fall. "I have more important works to attend than waste my time watching movies."

"But you said... "

"Yeah, I said but right now I am busy."

"Okay." Gauri said in a dull tone, "Have a nice day, I will ask Danny." She said turning on her heel.

"No." Omkara almost shouted making Gauri turn around confused. "You are not going anywhere with that Danny guy, in fact you are coming to my office with me now."

"What will I do in your office Omkara." Gauri asked, "I will get bored."

"Don't you have any assignments?"

"I do have but... "

"Good, go grab your college bag, you can work on your assignments sitting in my office."

"But... "

"Now. Go." Omkara ordered making Gauri sprint inside her apartment to grab her backpack.

The rest of the day went by with Omkara handling his meetings and presentations while Gauri sat in the corner of his office working on her assignments.

"Omkara, can we go home now?" Gauri asked stretching her legs on the carpet.

"I still have some work to sort out." Omkara said without raising his head from the laptop.

"Okay." Gauri nodded and continued doing her assignments while Omkara began to secretly look at Gauri, while she was busy sketching the new designs for her assignments her brows furrowed with concentration, a pout on her plump limps.

"Tan_tadaaaa" Rudra burst opened Omkara's office door making Omkara startle and curse inaudible and Gauri to jump.

"Ruuu... " Gauri shouted joyously jumping on her feet.

"Rii..." Rudra said in a same tone.

"What the hell are you doing in my office on weekend?" Omkara asked annoyed.

"A bird told me, A monster is caging a sweet little princess and making her weekend boring, so I came to rescue the princess." Rudra said moving towards Gauri.

"Hey Ri, wanna play UNO with me?"

"Yes, let's play, let's play." Gauri clapped jumping.

"This is my cabin not some play ground." Omkara glowered.

"I even brought us some snacks, French fries and chocolates to munch on while playing." Rudra said to Gauri, ignoring Omkara.

"Wow, Ru, you are the best." Gauri said jumping and giving a bear hug to Rudra making Omkara growl.

"Thank you, I know." Rudra said hugging back Gauri and smirking at Omkara.

"This is cheating, you didn't said UNO before dropping the card, Ru." Gauri whined.

"Well, I said you didn't hear." Rudra grinned poking Gauri's nose with his index finger.

"No, you are cheating. Omkara, Ru is cheating." Gauri complained to Omkara.

"Can't you play a fair game, Rudra." Omkara asked looking from his files.

"I played one right now, O." Rudra said making Omkara shake his head.

"No you cheated." Gauri said beating Rudra with her small fists making Rudra dodge and laugh.

"You can't beat me." Rudra said dodging Gauri's attacks and gripping both her hands, looking at her cute fight to get away from him in awe.

"Enough." Omkara growled walking towards Rudra and pulling Gauri up to his side. "It's the time we should go home and you to your home, Rudra."

"What yaar O, why you always comes in between me and my sweet Princess." Rudra asked dusting his pants.

"She's not your Princess." Omkara gritted.

"She is." Rudra said annoying Omkara, "Aren't you a princess, Ri?" He asked Gauri sweetly.

"No, I am not a princess, I am a warrior." Gauri said fisting her hands and punching Rudra in his gut.

"There we got equal, Ru." Gauri flicked her hair while Rudra groaned in pain and Omkara choked a laugh on his fist.

"Gosh... She really hits hard man." Rudra groaned.

"Better remember that," Omkara said taking his coat, "Let's go home." He said pulling Gauri with him.

"Here's your car, sir." The Car Valet guy said handling keys to Omkara.

"Thank you." Omkara said taking Keys from the guy and unlocking his car.

"Get inside." Omkara said to Gauri opening the driver side door.

Gauri was about to get inside the car, when she heard a engine roar and a sports bike coming into screeching halt just a few feet before her.

"How's that, Ri?" Rudra grinned taking of his helmet.

"Wow, your bike's so nice, Ru." Gauri said looking at the black beast in admiration. "Can I ride your bike?"

"Thank you." Rudra smiled, "And I will let you ride my bike, not now but next Sunday at my farm house, we have big ground there. Join me for lunch on Sunday."

"Thank you, Ru. I will... "

"Not go anywhere." Omkara said standing beside Gauri, "She's not coming anywhere with you."

"Don't be a spoil sport, Omkara." Rudra snorted.

"I am not a spoil sport, I am just telling you that she won't come anywhere with you."

"And you." Omkara said looking at Gauri, "Say good bye to Rudra and get inside the car."

Gauri nodded and turned towards Rudra waving her hand, "Bye, Ru."

"Bye Rudra, now get lost from here." Omkara said giving a push on Rudra's back.

"Hey Ri." Rudra called turning back making Omkara curse inaudible.

"Yes."

"I am heading to movies and I have a extra ticket, wanna join me?"

"No." Omkara answered even before Gauri can open her mouth. "You get inside the car." He said to Gauri.

"There was this Super hit animation movie playing in the theatre." Rudra said making Gauri look at Omkara with puppy eyes.

"Omkara, please." Gauri said looking at Omkara.

"No." Omkara said in his stern voice. "You are not going anywhere."

"The movie starts in 15 minutes." Rudra said making Omkara shot a angry look at him.

"Omkara, please, I want to go to movies." Gauri requested stepping towards Rudra.

"No, I won't let you go with him." Omkara said stopping Gauri holding her backpack.

"14 minutes now. I should start in next 3 minutes to check inside the theatre." Rudra said looking at his watch.

"Omkara."

"No."

"1."

"Please."

"I won't let you."

"2." Rudra counted accelerating his bike. "Hurry up, Ri. If you don't wanna miss the intro."

"Omkara... "

"Get inside the car."

"T. H. R. E... " Rudra began to spell making Gauri look between Omkara and Rudra.

Omkara shook his head in No while Rudra was about to spell the last letter.

"__E." Rudra said accelerating his bike making his engine roar.

"Wait Ru." Gauri said running towards Rudra, leaving the backpack with Omkara.

"Sorry Omkara." Gauri said jumping in to Rudra's bike making Omkara grit his teeth at Rudra, who gave him a winning smirk.

"Brace up, Princess. Let's go for a ride." Rudra said giving helmet to Gauri and racing his bike in the streets of Paris while Omkara looked at their fading figures holding Gauri's backpack in his hand.
