You limped slightly as you, Thace and Ulaz went to dinner. The Paladins were back and you wanted to see how they were doing.

"Are you sure you don't want one of us to carry you? It wouldn't be a problem." Thace said, watching you try to walk straight.

"I'm sure." You said, smiling up at him.

Ulaz kept making sure that you weren't going to fall as the three of you entered the dining room. Everyone turned to face you as you and your lovers found a place to sit at the large table.

"Hey, are you alright Y/n? You're walking kinda funny." Lance asked as you carefully sat down.

"U-um, yeah, I'm fine. It's nothing to worry about." You said, reassuring him that everything was fine.

"Okay…" Lance said, knowing that something happened to you.

"So, how did the mission go?" You asked Hunk.

"It went well. We got stuck on some gas planet because of Lotor. But then we formed Voltron." Hunk told you.

"That's great." You said, smiling at him.

While you and Hunk were talking Keith started talking to Thace. He wanted to get to know the older Blade better after saving him. Ulaz smiled as he filled his plate with food, happy that Thace could talk to his nephew. During dinner each of the Paladins told you what happened to them during the mission.

While Keith was flying back to the castle the black lion stopped. Black sensed Shiro, turned around and called out for him.

"What's wrong?" Keith asked Black.

Black showed Keith Shiro's signal, catching his attention. She knew that Shiro needed to be rescued.

"You found him." Keith said, surprised that Shiro was still alive.

Black flew back to the castle and Keith called Allura. Allura wormholed to Shiro's location with Black in the lead. Keith smiled when he saw Shiro in a Galra fighter jet. Right as Shiro passed out Keith and Black saved him.

"I have Shiro." Keith said over the comms.

Everyone went to Greet Keith in the black lion's hangar. Black put the Galra fighter jet down before she let Keith out. Thace and Ulaz got Shiro out of the jet before they took him to the infirmary. Everyone followed them, hoping that Shiro was alright.

"Is that who I think it is?" You asked when you saw Thace carry Shiro in, followed by Ulaz.

"It is. He's unconscious." Ulaz said as he got a scanner that Coran found.

You and the Paladins watched as Ulaz checked Shiro. You had missed Shiro ever since the two of you became friends. Allura still didn't trust Thace and Ulaz, but at least she didn't glare at them anymore.

"Shiro is malnourished and dehydrated. He just needs rest now." Ulaz said after scanning Shiro a few times.

"He can rest in his old room." Allura said.

Thace nodded as he took Shiro to his room. The other Paladins were about to follow, but the alarm went off. They rushed back to their lions and Coran rushed back to the observation deck. You and Ulaz decided to go do something.

As soon as the Paladins got back to the castle Keith went to go see Shiro. You had left some water in his room so that he could drink it. When Keith entered Shiro's room he saw that his mentor was awake.

"Hey." Keith said.

"Keith?" Shiro asked, his voice a little groggy.

"What happened out there?" Keith asked him.

"I don't know. The last thing I remember was Zarkon trying to overtake the black lion. It told me to use my Bayard. Then, just nothing. I woke up and I was back on a Galra ship." Shiro told Keith, looking up at him through his now longer hair.

"Well, you just unlocked the black lion's ability to teleport. Could it have teleported you? Maybe she was trying to save you." Keith said, looking at Shiro.

"By teleporting me into the hands of the Galra?" Shiro asked.

"Maybe Zarkon forced it to. I mean he was trying to control the black lion up until the very last moment, right?" Keith asked.

"Yeah, maybe." Shiro replied.

"Well, if you're feelin' up to it, the rest of the team would be thrilled to see you up and around again. They need you, you know." Keith told Shiro.

"Yeah, I'll try." Shiro said, thinking about it.

"Okay. We'll be in the observation deck." Keith said, turning to leave.

"Hey Keith?" Shiro asked as the door to his room opened.

"Yeah?" Keith asked, stopping and turning around.

"How many times are you going to have to save me before this is over?" Shiro asked Keith, a hint of humor in his voice.

"As many times as it takes." Keith replied, flashing Shiro one of his rare smiles before leaving.

While Keith went to the observation deck Shiro drank the water you left for him and went to the bathroom to get cleaned up. It had been so long since he took a shower and shaved. He cut his hair so that it wasn't long anymore. Once he was dry, Shiro went to the observation deck. When the door opened everyone turned to see him walk in.

"Great job out there everyone. You've really turned the tide in this war. I'm glad that you never lost sight of the mission while I was gone." Shiro said proudly.

"Shiro!" You said happily as you ran over and tackled him in a hug.

"You're looking better. How are you feeling?" Lance asked Shiro.

"Good. Just trying to get rid of this weird headache." Shiro said, rubbing his head a little.

"You need to eat and drink more. When I scanned you, you were malnourished and dehydrated." Ulaz told Shiro.

"I will." Shiro said as you let him go after hugging him.

"Guys, I think I have something here! So I downloaded intel from the Galra base we just defeated. I untied quantum folded encryption and I found something on Lotor." Pidge said as everyone gathered around her station.

"Do you know where he is?" Keith asked Pidge.

"Well, not exactly, no. But, the last three sightings of his command ship have been in the Va'Kar quadrant." Pidge said.

"Nice work Pidge. Although, those quadrants are massive. How will we pinpoint his location?" Shiro asked.

"Hey, that comet is made from the same material as Voltron. Maybe I can scan the emission spectrum for fraunhofer lines, like when I found the blue lion." Hunk offered.

"But you know the emissions are subject to free induction decay. Those are exponential drop offs." Pidge told Hunk.

"Yeah, but if you could find a way to amplify the sensors- No, there would be way too much interference. What if, instead, we increase the SA magnitude?" Hunk asked Pidge.

"The spires of the Castle!" Pidge said as she got up.

"Genius!" Hunk said as he and Pidge ran out of the observation deck.

"I have no idea what either of them just said." Lance said in confusion.

"Let's set a course for the Va'Kar quadrant

while they get started on that detector.

We need to work fast. Who knows

what Lotor has planned for that comet." Shiro said, not knowing what was going to happen.

You were cleaning the kitchen while Thace helped you. Ulaz was checking on Antok now that he was ready to come out of the healing pod.

"You know, we could have some fun when we're done here." Thace said, looking at you with a sexy smirk.

"Thace, I know that you've gone almost two years without sex up until a few nights ago, but the Paladins could be back at any moment. Not to mention Coran and Shiro who are still here." You told Thace.

"Fine. I guess you're right. Maybe you, Ulaz and I could take a bath together later. The tub is big enough." Thace suggested.

"That actually sounds pretty nice. We can try a bath bomb that I found at the space mall during the last trip." You said.

"You want to put a bomb in our bath?" Thace asked, thinking you were crazy.

"It's not that kind of bomb. It makes bubbles in the water and it smells nice." You told him.

"I suppose we could try it." Thace said cautiously.

"Awesome!" You said happily.
