After a nice, relaxing walk in the forest on Olkarion with Thace and Ulaz the three of you went back to the castle with the Paladins. You weren't looking forward to going back because Lotor was there. When the door to the observation deck opened you saw the trickster Prince with Allura.

"Oh look, it's Prince Lotor just hanging out in the observation deck." Lance said, glaring at the purple Prince.

"I guess this is a thing that's happening." Pidge said awkwardly.

"I suppose we'll all have to get used to it." Coran said.

"What's going on, Lotor?" Shiro asked said Prince.

"The death of my father has created a power vacuum in the Galra Empire. The most formidable Galra leaders will gather for what is called the Kral Zera sometime in the next two days to decide who will take the throne. We must be there." Lotor replied.

"So you want us to fly you into a meeting with all of the most powerful Galra leaders?" Lance asked Lotor.

"Lotor, we appreciate all that you've sacrificed. But this sounds far too dangerous." Allura told Lotor.

"We've been in more dangerous situations with much less to gain. Putting Lotor on the Galra throne is what we've been discussing." Shiro told Allura.

"Yeah, but no one told us that we'd be flying into a war zone." Pidge said.

"We can't plan an operation like this so quickly." Allura said seriously.

"We don't have a choice." Shiro stated.

"I'm with Allura, we need time to think this over." Lance said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Lance, this is not your call." Shiro scolded Lance, making the teen's eyes widen.

Everyone stared at Shiro for a moment. That was the first time he scolded anyone other than Keith like that. You briefly wondered if Shiro was feeling okay.

"Allura, the coalition wouldn't be where it is right now without Lotor. We need to listen to him." Shiro said, looking at Lotor.

"Well I'm with Allura too. This is too dangerous to pull off at the last minute." Pidge said.

"I agree. This doesn't sound right." You said, glaring at Lotor.

"Agreed, it looks like it's five to two in the Princess's favor." Coran said.

"Look, this isn't a vote. I'm the leader of Voltron, I'm making this decision." Shiro said stubbornly.

"Like when you armed Lotor with your Bayard without consulting with the rest of us?" Allura asked Shiro angrily.

"That's right. Making that decision resulted in the removal of Zarkon." Shiro argued.

"You put the entire operation in jeopardy." Allura argued back.

"I put an end to Zarkon's reign. Now is the time to finish the job." Shiro said, losing his temper.

"Shiro, we're all on the same side here." Lance said, trying to make things better.

"I told you to stay out of this!" Shiro yelled at Lance.

"While you all waste time squabbling sinister forces are conspiring to fill the Galra power void. If I do not return to claim the throne there is no telling who will." Lotor said, making a point.

"Good, then it's settled." Shiro said, happy that he won that argument.

After the meeting with the Paladins you went somewhere to try to relax. You ended up going to spend time in the library. You found a nice comfortable pillow to sit on while you read a book that you found at the Earth store. You were shocked to find a book written by your favorite author. So now you finally got to enjoy it.

Thace and Ulaz joined you in the library when they found a couple of books in their language on one of the back shelves. The three of you read your books in a comfortable silence. You weren't sure how much time passed, but after a while your stomach grumbled.

"You need to eat." Ulaz said, looking up at you from his book.

"But this book is so good." You said, pouting a little.

"Here." Thace said, handing you a bag of some kind of snack.

"What is this?" You asked Thace, holding up some kind of dried food.

"I believe you humans call it 'jerky'." Thace told you.

You looked at him before you turned your attention to the strange jerky. You bit off a tiny piece, tasting it. To your surprise it was actually really good. You popped the rest of the piece in your mouth and began chewing. The strange jerky seemed to melt in your mouth.

"Thank you, this is really good. Where did you get it?" You asked Thace curiously.

"Sal makes it." Thace said, referring to the Galran man who owned Vrepit Sal's.

"It tastes amazing." You said, eating another piece.

Thace smiled, happy that you liked one of his and Ulaz' favorite snacks. After you ate a few pieces you handed the bag to Ulaz who also ate a few pieces. After the bag was given back to Thace the three of you went back to reading.

While you were brushing your teeth and everyone else in the castle was doing their own thing Thace and Ulaz were taking a call from Kolivian. Even though they were assigned as honorary members of Team Voltron they had to check in with the Blade of Marmora every so often.

"Was Voltron successful at retrieving Commander Holt?" Kolivian asked the two Blades.

"Yes leader. Shiro, Matt and Pidge retrieved Commander Holt. The Paladins are sending him to Earth to warn the Garrison about what might be coming." Ulaz told Kolivian.

"Leader, if I may, it might be beneficial for the humans to have a few Blades to help them prepare." Thace said.

"I see. And I'm assuming that you and Ulaz are offering." Kolivian said, knowing what Thace was hinting at.

"Well, yes." Thace said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.

"I suppose that might help. Very well, the two of you and Y/n may accompany Commander Holt to Earth." Kolivian told the two Blades.

"Thank you, leader." Ulaz said before Kolivian ended the call.

Right after Kolivian ended the call you walked into the bedroom. Thace and Ulaz started getting into their pajamas. You couldn't help but stare at their perfect bodies.

"Y/n, Commander Holt is going back to Earth after the Kral Zera." Thace told you.

"I know." You said, wondering what he was trying to say.

"Kolivian has given us permission to accompany you and him to Earth after the Kral Zera ceremony." Ulaz said, a slight smile on his face.

"Wait, really? We're really going to Earth?" You asked them curiously.

"Yes. I hope you don't mind." Thace said, slightly worried.

"I- Wow, it's been so long since I've been on Earth… I'm nervous, but I also can't wait." You said, not sure how to feel.

"We will be with you the entire time." Ulaz said softly, kneeling down in front of you.

"I'm glad you both will be. I don't want to be alone." You said, hugging Ulaz.

Ulaz smiled as he hugged you back. Thace knelt down and joined in on the hug. You were happy that they were going with you.
