Beta Traz
"All right, guys, we're ready to fire." Lance said as he flew the blue lion towards Beta Traz.
"Be careful, you've only got one shot." Pidge warned everyone.
"Don't worry, Pidge, I'm an excellent shot." Lance told her.
"You are?" Pidge asked, a hint of doubt in her voice.
"Yes! That's my thing!" Lance said loudly.
"Since when?" Pidge asked loudly, startling Shiro.
"Just get ready." Lance said, opening the mouth of the blue lion.
Shiro, Ulaz and Pidge turned their jetpacks on and flew towards Beta Traz. They used their grappling hooks to hook onto something. Pidge's grappling hook failed and she almost flew away, thankfully Ulaz saved her just in time.
"Nice catch." Pidge said as Ulaz pulled her in with his second grappling hook.
Ulaz nodded his head and the three of them continued on their mission. Beta Traz was very large considering that there was only one prisoner.
"This seems like an awfully large place to hold only one prisoner." Pidge said as she saw how big it was.
"Let's hope this Slav guy is as good as the Blade of Marmora said he is." Shiro said.
"I assure you, he is." Ulaz told them.
Pidge, Shiro and Ulaz snuck past drones as they headed for the entrance. Ulaz kept his ears open to make sure no one snuck up on them. They came to the door and Shiro and Pidge nodded to each other. Shiro and Ulaz watched as she successfully hacked into the system. The door opened and they floated in.
Once the door closed the gravity kicked in and they were pulled to the floor. Pidge and Shiro were thankful for the gravity.
"Beginning phase two of the plan. I'm blocking the sensors. Lance, you've only got four doboshes to scan the base and land your lion before they're back online." Pidge said before hacking into the system and talking to Lance.
"Copy that. Initializing sonic scan now. Sonic scan complete. Uploading the data." Lance said, making the drones going offline and uploading the data.
"Perfect. We're right on top of your entry point. Get to my location. Hurry, you've got 60 ticks." Pidge told Lance.
"On my way." Lance said, flying Blue over to Beta Traz.
As Lance got closer the loading bay doors opened. He flew the blue lion in and the doors closed behind him. As soon as the doors closed the drones outside came back online.
"Okay, phase two complete. Welcome to Beta Traz." Shiro said as the blue lion sat down.

Zarkon stood on his platform as the druids gave him dark magic and quintessence. He was becoming more and more power hungry as time went on.
"More! Give me more!" Zarkon begged.
The druids gave more quintessence to Zarkon, making him yell. They stopped and he fell to his knees. Zarkon grunted as felt the quintessence flow stop.
"Why have you stopped?" Zarkon asked the druids.
"My Lord, Haggar ordered us to limit your-" A druid said before Zarkon hit him with a weapon.
"Remember who your master is. Now, give me more!" Zarkon roared.
The druids all looked at each other as they raised their hands up halfway and started giving Zarkon more quintessence. They knew that he could handle it.

"I've compiled the data from the Blue Lion's sonic scan and created this map. It appears the prison consists of three concentric levels. Each level is showing different types of security. That's weird. The Blade of Marmora said this prison was made just for Slav, but I'm showing two cells. Who else would be held here?" Pidge asked curiously.
"Last time I checked only Slav was here." Ulaz said.
"I'm guessing a space ninja. Or maybe someone with magical powers? You know, just spit-balling here. I don't know. Let's just keep tossing out ideas." Lance said enthusiastically, causing Shiro and Ulaz to give him a weird look.
"Can you get a visual on the cells?" Shiro asked Pidge.
"No, not from here. And even if I could, we don't know what Slav looks like." Pidge replied.
"Then we're just going to have to check both." Shiro said.
"Dibs on the closer one! What? My legs are tired." Lance said as Shiro, Ulaz and Pidge looked at him.
"Ulaz and I will go to the command center to try and access the security system." Pidge said, looking up at Ulaz.
"Then let's get moving." Shiro said as everyone went their separate ways.

Ulaz and Pidge silently made their way through Beta Traz. Ulaz opened a panel and let Pidge go through first. Once they were on the other side he closed it. And they floated down to a desk. He sat in the chair and turned the computers on.
"We're in." Pidge said through the comm system in her helmet.
"Guide us through." Shiro said through the comms.
"It looks like the top level is patrolled by the sentries. The second level is patrolled by floating drones. Oh, wow, that's interesting." Pidge said when she found something on one of the computers.
"Good interesting?" Lance asked Pidge.
"The second level also has immobilizing foam." Pidge told him.
"Oh, so bad interesting." Lance said, not happy about it.
"And the third level?" Shiro asked Pidge.
"Closed system. I can't get in from here." Pidge replied.
"You can't get in from the command center?" Shiro asked, hoping for a good answer.
"No single location can access the entire prison. It's a security measure. When you reach that level, you'll have to link me in." Ulaz replied, leaning a little closer to Pidge so that Shiro could hear him.
"We're on our way down." Shiro said as he and Lance began searching for Slav.
"Okay. While you do that... I'll find you, Matt." Pidge said to herself as she began looking for Matt.
Ulaz knew how she felt. He desperately missed Thace. He hoped that someday everyone could be with their loved ones.

As Shiro and Lance made their way through the hallways they found a door guarded by a sentry. They stayed hidden so that it wouldn't see them.
"How are we going to get by this guy?" Lance asked.
Shiro flew forward and cut the head of the sentry off with his Galra hand. Lance was shocked, but happy that Shiro was with him.
"Good team work on that one." Lance said as he peeked out from behind a corner.
Shiro waited for Lance before the door opened. They ran through the doorway and saw a drone.
"Uh-oh, we're spotted!" Shiro said as the drone flew towards them.
"No, no, no, that's mine! He's going to be your escort through this hallway. He'll scramble the monitors. Shiro, you go left. Lance, go right." Pidge said, pulling up the camera feed on her little screen.
"Affirmative." Shiro said as he and Lance split up and ran down different hallways.
"Okay, open the panel next to you. Connect your gauntlet so I can hack in. Now, I have access to level three. Opening the entrances." Pidge told Shiro and Lance as they followed her instructions.
Shiro and Lance ran through the entrances when Pidge opened them. Lance soon found himself in front of more doors.
"Huh? Pidge, you have any idea how I'm gonna get through these giant doors?" Lance asked Pidge.
"Lance, be quiet. Someone's coming." Pidge said urgently when she saw someone else coming down the hallway Lance was in.
Lance turned his jetpack on and flew up to a hiding place right as one of the doors opened. A huge Galra walked in and walked towards the cell.
"Okay, but seriously, those are some heavy-duty doors." Lance whispered through his comm.
The warden put his face in front of the scanner, allowing it to scan his face. The light turned green and the doors opened.
"Don't play innocent. I know what you did." The warden said, smirking as he walked towards his pet.
__________________________
"All right, I made it to the cell. Open the doors, Pidge." Shiro said through his comm.
"Uh, I can't from here." Pidge said awkwardly.
"The door over here scanned that guy's face." Lance said through his comm.
"Oh, facial recognition. Shiro, hold tight. Lance, you're gonna need to get a scan of his face." Pidge told both Paladins.
"Copy that." Lance and Shiro said at the same time.
While the Paladins and Ulaz were doing their thing, the warden was spending time with Laika. He smiled as he gave her belly rubs. Laila growled happily, loving the belly rubs.
"I'll be back soon." The warden said as he left Laika's room.
Pidge was absolutely horrified at what she was seeing on the camera feed. Ulaz didn't feel like telling Pidge that Laika was the warden's pet. When the warden got close enough Lance scanned his face.
"Face on the way, Pidge." Lance said, sending the warden's face to Pidge.
"Creating 3D render. Sending to you." Pidge said, sending the 3D renders to Shiro and Lance.
__________________________
Shiro and Lance used the 3D renders to open the cell doors. When the door Shiro was opened he cautiously walked in. Slav was startled when the door opened and someone walked in.
"Are you Slav?" Shiro asked when he saw someone.
"Are you here to torture me?" Slav asked Shiro suspiciously.
"No, I'm here to save you. I'm a Paladin of Voltron." Shiro said calmly.
"Oh, no, even worse. In 98 and 3/100ths of a percent of realities with a prison break, I die! And your chances are even worse!" Slav said, panicking.
While Shiro was saving Slav Lance found Laika. He thought he found Slav, but obviously was wrong.
"I found Slav." Shiro and Lance said at the same time.
"What?" Pidge asked them both in confusion.
Lance began questioning Laika which was a mistake. Laika said 'yup' and Lance believed her.
"We don't have time for this. You're just gonna have to bring both of them back." Pidge told them.
Right as Pidge was saying something the doors began to open. Ulaz turned the computer off and he and Pidge hid.
"Okay. Give us the route out of here." Shiro told Pidge.
"Yeah, we're ready to go, too." Lance added.
"Yup." Laika said, agreeing with Lance.
"Hello?" Lance asked, not hearing Pidge.
"Pidge!" Shiro called out, knowing that something was wrong.
The warden walked over to his desk and sat down. He pulled up closer and put a chip in his computer. Both Ulaz and Pidge tried their best to hide, leaving Shiro and Lance to figure out how to get out on their own.
"Sir, Laika has escaped." A sentry said as the door to the warden's office opened.
"Oh, no! Guard this station." The warden said as he got up and rushed out of his office, worried about his fur baby.
As the warden left Ulaz and Pidge crawled out from under the desk. Ulaz envied Pidge a little because she was better at fitting into tight spaces.
"Come on, get outta here." Pidge said silently, hoping that the warden and the sentry would leave soon.
While the warden left his office Shiro and Lance were having a hard time with Slav and Laika. Lance was over thinking his place on the team and Slav was complaining about puddles and cracks.
"Pidge, are you and Ulaz there? We need an alternate route. Pidge?" Shiro asked Pidge.
Ulaz pulled his blade out of its sheath and attacked the sentry. The sentry sparked as it fell onto the desk. Ulaz put his blade back as Pidge stood up.
"Okay, sorry about that. I'm back. I'll find you a new route, Shiro." Pidge told Shiro, popping up and seeing the sentry.
"Yeah, can you tell me where I am?" Lance asked Pidge.
"Just a sec. Pulling it up now." Pidge replied, turning her little screen on and looking on the map.
Shiro groaned before he tried reasoning with Slav. Slav didn't want to drown or step on any cracks.
"Uh, I don't see an alternate route, Shiro. Lance, look out!" Pidge said, warning Lance when she saw the warden's signal.
__________________________
"Quick, somebody's coming. What are you doing? Are you trying to get us caught?" Lance asked Laika.
"Yup!" Laika replied.
"I've found you." The warden said happily when he found Laika.
"Stay away from my friend!" Lance said, pointing his blaster at the warden.
"There's your kidnapper. Put the prison on lockdown!" The warden said before a beeping sound started.
"Huh?" Lance asked as Laika ran past the warden.
Lance let out a battle cry as he shot at the warden. The warden used his mechanical arms to protect himself. The immobilizing foam guns began shooting at everything. Laika easily dodged the foam. Lance used his shield to avoid the foam.
"Pidge, you've gotta shut off this foam for me!" Lance yelled through his comm.
"On it! Huh? Matt?" Pidge said as a video and a picture appeared on the computer that Ulaz turned back on.
"Pidge!" Lance yelled through his comm, startling Pidge.
"Sorry! Just reversing the targeting system, and this ought to slow him down." Pidge said as she uploaded a virus that took over the foam cannons.
"What? No!" The warden yelled as he was shot with foam.
"Stick around! Huh? Huh?" Pidge asked, nudging Ulaz with her elbow.
Ulaz raised an eyebrow, thankful that he didn't take his mask off. He failed to understand Pidge's pun.
"Uh oh." Pidge said when the door opened and a few more sentries saw her and Ulaz.
As the sentries started firing Pidge and Ulaz ducked down. Ulaz could barely hear Lance and Shiro saying something over the comm system.
"Oh, that's a great idea! Then the sentries won't be able to maneuver, but we have our jetpacks. It's genius!" Pidge said as she turned the gravity off.
As the gravity went off everyone began floating. She and Ulaz held onto something as the sentries floated and fired their blasters. That lasted for several moments.
"Gravity's back online in three, two, one. Ulaz and I headed for the hangar." Pidge said as she turned the gravity back on, causing the sentries to fall and giving her and Ulaz the chance to escape.
Ulaz let Pidge keep up with him as they ran through the hallways. Pidge tried her best to keep up, thankful that he was going slow enough for her. When they entered the hangar they joined the fight. Pidge distracted the warden while Shiro tried to attack him. The fight went on until Slav decided to help out.
Slav opened the hangar door and everything was getting dragged outside. The warden saved Laika before she flew outside. The Paladins and Ulaz got dragged outside. The warden caught Slav, but Lance proved that he was the sharpshooter of team Voltron, saving Slav in the process. Once everyone was back in the blue lion it was time to go back to the castle.

A druid groaned as he collapsed, exhausted from giving Zarkon more quintessence. Haggar walked in to check on her husband.
"Sire, I believe there's a spy in our ranks. Our communications may be compromised." Haggar told Zarkon.
"None of that matters. Once the Black Lion is recaptured, no one will stand against me. Have you made any further progress with my armor?" Zarkon asked her.
"None of the tests have been successful. Each time, the subject was killed." Haggar replied.
"I need it ready. If your beasts will not defeat Voltron for me, I will do it myself." Zarkon said darkly.
