Today Ulaz brought you to the med bay with him. He said that it was because you needed to get some exercise, but you knew otherwise. You sat on a chair in a corner of the med bay while Shiro struggled on the operation table. Two foot soldiers were helping Ulaz, so you just kept quiet and minded your own business.

"You took my arm, what else do you want?!" Shiro asked Ulaz who only glanced at him.

You watched and waited for something to happen. You were thankful that your seat was kind of out of the way. One of the foot soldiers got something to put Shiro under.

"Stop! I want him awake enough to feel this." Ulaz said as he slapped the soldier's hand away.

The foot soldier began to walk away when Ulaz knocked one out. He quickly knocked the other one out and ran to the operation table.

"Listen to me, we don't have much time. Wake up! Zarkon has located the blue lion of Voltron on your planet Earth. You must get it before he does." Ulaz said as he put the coordinates in Shiro's arm and slapped him awake.

"Who are you? What are you doing?" Shiro asked as Ulaz removed the restraints.

"I've planted a bomb to cover your escape. Get to a pod, now!" Ulaz said as he helped Shiro sit up.

"Who are you?" Shiro asked again.

"I am Ulaz. Now come on! Y/n, come with me!" Ulaz said urgently.

You got up and followed Shiro and Ulaz. Your heart began pounding in your chest at the thought of escaping. Ulaz knelt down and peeked out of the med bay.

"Zarkon will know that I released you, so Y/n and I must disappear. But if you survive, go to the coordinates in your arm. The Blade of Marmora is with you." Ulaz told Shiro.

"Why are you helping me?" Shiro asked Ulaz curiously.

"As a fighter and a leader you bring hope. Hurry, Earth needs you. We all do. Y/n, come on!" Ulaz said before he started running away.

Shiro watched as you and Ulaz ran away. He then ran in a different direction. You didn't stop running until you followed Ulaz to an escape pod. Once the two of you were in a pod Ulaz launched it. You waited until you both were far, far away from Galra Central Command.

"Ulaz, what's going on? Where are we going? Why are we leaving? And are you a double agent?" You asked Ulaz curiously, wanting answers.

"Y/n, I think there are a few things that you need to know. I am an undercover operative for the Blade of Marmora. We are a rebellion group. We are going to the Blade of Marmora communication base Thaldycon. I didn't want to leave you in case Haggar questioned you." Ulaz told you.

"I- Wow… Okay, this is a lot to take in. So that means we're free?" You asked him, not believing it.

"We are. But we must wait for Voltron. I've made sure that someone has left supplies for both of us and clothes for you. Until then, we can relax." Ulaz said as he picked you up and sat you on his lap.

You couldn't believe that this was actually happened. Ulaz began purring and nuzzling you. You quickly fell asleep, tired after such a long day. Ulaz hoped that Thace would make it out alive.

After roughly a year Voltron's signal finally popped up on one of the screens. Within that time Ulaz removed your collar and told you that you stopped aging when you were about eighteen. You were left at the base while Ulaz snuck aboard the castle. When he returned he brought Shiro, Keith, Hunk and Pidge with him. You introduced yourself to them, happy to see more humans.

"With our members working on the inside planning coordinated attacks with Voltron, we may finally have a chance." Ulaz said as he typed something on the holoscreen.

"So you have agents working in Zarkon's ranks?" Hunk asked Ulaz curiously.

"How do you think you got away from Zarkon in that last fight? Do you think those shields around Zarkon's command center went down on their own? We have people risking their lives in this war, just like you." Ulaz said, slightly offended.

"If you have people on the inside, can they tell me where my family is? They were taken the same time Shiro was." Pidge asked Ulaz who turned to look at her.

"I knew others from Earth were captured. I never saw them, but I have some records of Galra prisoners. I can transfer them to your ship." Ulaz said as he went back to typing.

You knew about the records of Galra prisoners because Ulaz showed them to you. You couldn't help but notice Keith looking at Ulaz' blade.

"What's that weapon you carry?" Keith asked Ulaz, finally deciding to say something.

Ulaz looked at Keith, a little startled by his question. He pulled his blade out of its sheath and loosely held it in both of his hands.

"It's a ceremonial blade that each member of our order carries." Ulaz said as he held his blade out for everyone to see.

"Hm, nice." Keith said, looking at the blade.

You knew something was up with Keith when he looked at the blade. Right as Ulaz slid his blade back into its sheath the alarm went off. You tried not to panic at the thought of being found.

"Oh no." Ulaz said as he pulled up an image on the screen.

You recognized the thing on the screen as one of Haggar's creations. You slowly breathed in and out as you stayed as calm as you could.

"You were tracked!" Ulaz said angrily as he turned to face the Paladins.

"What, us?" Pidge asked in shock.

"If Zarkon knows we're here it's because you ratted us out!" Keith said, accusing Ulaz.

"It's another one of Zarkon's robot beasts. RoBeasts!" Hunk exclaimed.

"We need to get back to the ship!" Shiro said.

"Shiro, wait! These are instructions on how to reach the Blade of Marmora headquarters. Before you go there find out how Zarkon is tracking you. If you lead him there, our entire underground network, everything we've been spending centuries building, will be lost." Ulaz said as he gave something to Shiro.

Shiro took the item and Ulaz told you to go with the Paladins. You did as he said, not wanting to get caught by the Galra again. Keith flew his lion to the castle and let you out. As the other Paladins got to their lions Shiro told you how to get to the observation deck. Once you got there you saw a man with orange hair and a woman with white hair.

You watched as the Paladins formed Voltron. You never saw anything like it in your entire life. For a moment, you forgot that you were in danger. You watched in awe as Voltron flew towards the RoBeast. You were so busy watching that you zoned out for a moment.

"Well, there goes Ulaz." Coran said as Ulaz flew away.

"I knew that we should never trust a Galra." Allura said angrily.

You were snapped out of your thoughts as you watched Ulaz leave. You were afraid that he was leaving you forever. Your attention was turned back to the fight when the RoBeast started attacking again. You watched as it almost sucked Voltron in a few times. Meanwhile, Ulaz had a plan.

"Hang on!" Ulaz shouted through the comm system.

"Ulaz?" Shiro asked as Ulaz' ship reappeared.

"I'm going to take it down from the inside!" Ulaz said as he flew towards the RoBeast.

"Ulaz no! Let us handle this!" Shiro pleaded.

"Voltron is too valuable. The universe needs you." Ulaz said as he closed his eyes and flew into the RoBeast.

You wanted to cry as you watched him fly in. You knew that he was willing to sacrifice his own life for the greater good. After the RoBeast swallowed Ulaz' ship it spit something out. You recognized it as Ulaz. 

Voltron flew towards Ulaz and the red lion opened its mouth, scooping Ulaz up. You couldn't believe that Ulaz survived an encounter with the RoBeast. For the rest of the fight you watched as Voltron fought. When the RoBeast began shaking it folded in on itself. You then knew that Ulaz did something before he escaped.

You sat in the infirmary as you waited for Ulaz to come out of the healing pod. Shiro convinced Allura to let you and Ulaz join team Voltron. Ulaz had been in the healing pod for about a week and the Paladins kept checking on you. When the healing pod finally opened Ulaz groaned as he stumbled out.

"Ulaz!" You said happily as you hugged him.

"What happened?" Ulaz asked as his vision adjusted to the lights.

"Your plan to defeat the RoBeast worked." You told him.

"And we're allowing you and Y/n to join us until we get to the Blade of Marmora headquarters. Although neither of you will get to do much because Allura won't allow it." Coran said as he rubbed his mustache.

You couldn't believe that you and Ulaz got to stay in the Castle of Lions. Shiro showed you both to a room and left. Once you both were alone he turned the lights out and you both got under the covers on the bed.

"I'm glad you're safe, Y/n. I was worried that I'd lose you." Ulaz said as he curled around you.

"I was worried that you were going to die… You mean a lot to me." You said softly, pressing yourself against him.

Ulaz purred as he nuzzled you. You blushed as his lips got close to yours. You had feelings for him and Thace, bit you knew that this wasn't the time for confessing. Ulaz was in love with you and he knew that Thace was too. Once Thace reunited with the two of you they would confess their feelings for you.
