Graduations are a coming of age and a way to recognize a person stepping into a new stage of life. We are stepping into a new stage of life, with a new set of responsibilities. We are going to new schools, making new friends, and having more homework. I know I am not excited for the homework part!

My name is Jordan Bacoccini and I am one of this year's graduates at Mountain Mahogany. I would say today is a big day for all of us- all of our parents, grandparents and everyone that have helped us get this far, and are going to keep helping and pushing us to our greatest potential. So I am going to keep this speech short and sweet.

Yes, it's true many people will come and go in our lives, and we can only hope that we made a good impression on them. And the collapse of our sun may happen People may forget what you said did or acted like in school but people will never ever forget how you made them feel. So I hope,and I think most of you hope, that you mostly made people feel good and lifted their spirits.

This year has been full of ups and downs, and successes and setbacks. Some of us have had a harder time than others. I feel like this year has been both good and bad. One reason why this year has been hard is because I lost my great grandmother, and she was my biggest supporter. People saw my pain through school work, and in my moods. I became a person who felt depressed and I didnt want to talk to anyone. I became a social outcast, and that made it even harder. But then two new people stepped in, in her place and became my greatest supporters and my biggest fans, and those two people are sitting here today. Shawn and Mel, I want to thank you guys so very much for opening up your home to me, and for becoming my greatest supporters and for changing your entire life to fit me in, and make me feel at home. That helped me in so many ways. My grades started coming up, I got into a better school, I became a better person, and will continue to become a better person because of you two. I hope to make you guys proud.
