TW : Mention of suicide

I'll try to explain this as briefly as possible because I'm too exhausted (do your own research, basically) :

A while ago, there was a rumor that Tatsun cheated on his wife LiSA. The source that reported this was... uhm... shady, according to a lot of people? Anyway, everyone were upset, there were people hating on him, people sending him death threats, people that stood up for him and LiSA, you get the picture.

Days later there was another rumor/report that he attempted suicide, and we were concerned of course. (Sorry I'm too tired to type atm)

Today, he made a public apology. He has apologized for what he had done.

So my explanation here is very brief so if you want to know more, please do your own research because I'm tired and I may not be very active for a while after posting this.

Now here's my take on the situation :

I'm glad he owned up to his actions and apologized.

No, I don't support cheating, but his personal life isn't my business and I'd rather not spend my valuable time spreading hate even after he apologized publicly. I'll continue to support his work in whatever way I can.

I know everyone has their own opinion, and I'm only stating my own. I don't want to force my opinion onto anyone; and just like that, you can't expect me to change my mind on this situation. I would rather not mix up a celeb's personal and professional lives.

Okay, I may have said that I won't force my opinion on anyone, but I do have one request : Please don't send him death threats. It's irresponsible and immature. It's not the proper way to deal with something like this.

I know I'm not going to look away from Tatsuhisa Suzuki in disgust for what he did. Atleast he apologized. Besides, I really enjoy his work. I'm not a hardcore OLDCODEX fan but I love the music— One Side, Aching Horns, Walk, Frame in Flame are currently my favorites.

And his work as a seiyuu? There's Kurosaki Ranmaru (I love Ran's solos as well as QN songs). There's Tachibana Makoto (I almost cried while watching season 2). And Tsubaki— a very underrated role of his. The voiceover work for Tsubaki was perfection. I'm not going to hate the characters he voiced simply because of everything that happened.

Again, I don't support cheating. I just want to say that you have a right to your opinion and mental health. Want to stay away from your socials for a while? Do it. Wanna rant? Do it responsibly. Just don't tell people to off themselves.

Before you tell someone to commit suicide, just stop for a second and think— if you ever messed up and most of the people in your life told you to kys, how would you feel? Exactly.
