Season one, chapter thirty-two

"Plot twist; He likes you"

THE STARS AND the moon shone in the dark sky, the moonlight seemed to guide both teenagers who walked side by side with the same nervous feeling, one of them because she was ready to talk about her feelings while the other because he was in the presence of his love interest.

Thea sighed, her breath reflecting in the cold as the warmth of it collided with the cold atmosphere of the night. Her heart was beating so fast that she didn't know how much longer she could last being alone with him, although they had been alone together before, but this time it was different, both for her and for him.

A half smile appeared on Thea's face as she noticed the famous Han River in the distance, it was so big and beautiful that it caught everyone's attention and Thea had chosen this place as the right one to let go of her fears and give another chance to love. Mun on the other hand didn't really know why they were there, but he decided not to question anything about it, he just felt happy to be able to spend time with the girl he liked.

That was more than enough for him.

Thea placed both of her arms on the iron railing that separated the Han River from both teenagers. The view was beautiful, she had never been there because it brought back memories of her family, but now that she could finally stand there without any fear or sadness she wanted it to be special, very special.

"I always wanted to come here, after the death of my family I refused to do it because it would only remind me of the past" Thea began to say with her eyes glued to the view in front of her

"And now it doesn't anymore?" Mun asked, placing both of his warm hands on the cold, rough iron

"No, thanks to a very special person for me who helped me get ahead. That person saved me in all the ways a person can be saved" Thea began to explain without having the courage to look at Mun in the eyes when she felt his gaze on her "I will always remember the first person who brought the sun when my sky turned dark."

"And who is that person? The way you talk about that person reminds me of SuHo" The black-haired boy exclaimed, feeling a lump in his throat waiting for Thea's expected rejection

"It's true, he was my little hope in this cruel world" Thea admitted letting out all the air she had been holding while Mun looked down feeling as if his heart was breaking into a thousand pieces once again "He's my ex-boyfriend, There was a time when I was really in love with him, I loved him with all my being or so I wanted to believe because I was just a little girl learning the meaning of love. But when I needed him most he was not there for me because he was taking care of his father in the states, someone else did it in his place." The boy turned to look at her with his crystalline eyes

"Someone else?" He asked with a trembling voice

"Yes, he brings out the most sincere smiles in me with just his presence, every time I see him or I'm alone with him my heart goes crazy and I can't stop it" Thea began to explain, remembering the most beautiful sensations that he offered her "He makes me feel things that I no longer believed in, it's incredible how in so little time he became so much for me."

"So... it's not SuHo?" He questioned swallowing the lump in his throat not wanting to shed tears right there. He knew he wasn't ready to hear what Thea had to say next, but he wanted to at least get the doubt out of his head so he could finally let her go like the beautiful butterfly she was

"It's you, it's always been you" Thea revealed, finally connecting her eyes with his, he was amazed not knowing what to say, his heart was beating so fast and he had a hard time processing the words he had just heard, had he heard well? He hadn't imagined it? Did she really like him? Thea sighed before taking Mun's hands in hers with such gentleness and love. "I didn't want to fall in love, at all. But at some point you smiled and, holy shit, I blew it."

It was the first time he heard her curse, but the words didn't come out of his mouth, it was like he was in a dream right now and he couldn't believe what his ears were hearing. He was frozen, his brain couldn't seem to function right now, he felt so happy, so in love, so surprised. He didn't know how to react.

However, Thea smiled amusedly when reading the boy's memories, she had to admit that she did not expect him to reciprocate her feelings but who would have thought that he had also fallen for her charms. So she didn't spend any more time taking the boy's face gently in her hands before joining his lips with hers, who finally reacted only to widen his eyes as much as possible.

Where had so much courage come from to do it? Thea doesn't know it but she doesn't regret it, their lips fit perfectly as if they had been made for each other. A great current of electricity ran through the backs of both teenagers and it didn't take long for butterflies to flutter inside their stomachs. So Mun also took the courage to place his trembling hands around Thea's small waist and thus close his eyes to enjoy the experience.

They were both sharing their first kiss, so they weren't experts at it, it was more like an experience from which they were learning. An experience so beautiful that it would be kept in the hearts of both.

But the oxygen seemed to want to ruin their moment when they both had to separate to catch their breath. They looked into each other's eyes with so much love, the love they hid for a long time, a time that seemed eternal to them. Their cheeks were tinted reddish and their breaths collided as they were so close that at any second they could kiss again.

"Meet me in our next life and in all the following ones" Thea exclaimed softly, looking him straight in the eyes, letting him know that she really meant the words so he did not hesitate to nod his head with a big happy smile on his face

"You're the love that came without warning. You had my heart before I could say no," Mun revealed, finally saying the words he kept to himself for an eternity

Thea smiled, feeling her eyes sting as she felt tears threatening to spill from her eyes. It was the most beautiful and sincere thing anyone had ever said to her, how could someone be so perfect? Because in Thea's eyes he was, he was everything she looked for, everything she hoped for. Maybe life wasn't so cruel after all it sent someone like him to fill that void inside her and to paint her world with colors once again.

Oh god, she was so in love, even she could admit it was so different from the first time she experienced all of this. This was true love, this was the meaning of love, and Thea was proud and happy to be able to experience all this for the first time with the most important and special person to her.

So without waiting for the other's permission, they both joined their lips in a dance, this time it was not just a simple kiss but one full of love, desire, and passion. As if they had waited a long time to be able to do this, transmitting to each other all the love they felt for each other.

He wanted her as much as she wanted him.

Thea noticed how soft his lips were, so soft that she could become addicted to kissing them, she could kiss them for an eternity if she could. And he thought the same, after all he had fantasized for a long time about being able to kiss her, there were times when he had to restrain himself to avoid making himself look ridiculous. But now, now there were no words to describe how happy he was, his fantasy had finally come true and he wouldn't let her go for anything in the world.

She was that kind of girl that no boy would like to lose and now that he has her he wouldn't let her leave even if she wanted to.

The big smile of happiness could not be erased from the faces of both teenagers, who were holding hands as they walked back to the restaurant. This night had gone great, the fear of being rejected was gone and all that remained was the pride of having been able to take the first step and confess her feelings.

Their clasped hands moved from front to back as if on a swing. The happiness on both their faces could be seen for miles.

Although Thea had already been nervous for a long time under his presence. But now that she felt the boy's penetrating gaze on her, she couldn't help but turn red as she remembered everything that had happened a few minutes ago. God, they kissed, they really kissed and it hadn't just been a dream. Should she panic? What would happen if the rest of the team found out?

"Why are you looking at me that way?" Thea asked, putting a strand of hair behind her ear with the intention of calming her nervousness

"I'm admiring how beautiful my girlfriend is" The black-haired boy responded as if nothing had happened, plastering a tender smile on his face that made Thea's heart skip a beat

"Girlfriend? Since when have we been a couple?" She asked, arching an eyebrow, fighting back the urge to laugh when Mun wiped the smile off his face

"A-Ah, I... I thought..." He began to stutter, feeling extremely embarrassed by what he had said

"It can't be made official if you don't ask me" Thea exclaimed, clearing her throat, eagerly waiting for the boy to ask her the million-dollar question

"Ah" He lengthened the 'a' understanding what the girl was referring to. His cheeks turned red in a matter of seconds and he put one of his hands behind his neck in nervousness preparing to say the next thing "Can... can I be your boyfriend?" He looked at the ground shyly, something that Thea found extremely cute and did not hesitate to bring one of her hands to his left cheek to give it a gentle squeeze

"You're so cute" She exclaimed in a squeaky voice making the boy blush even more "Of course you can be my boyfriend, you didn't have to ask, I just wanted to hear what it would sound like coming out of you" Thea explained tilting her head to the side when the boy turned his head to the opposite side to hide his red face

Never in his life had he received so much affection from a girl. But this wasn't just any girl, she was Park Athena, the girl he had fallen in love with from the first second he laid eyes on her. She was perfect in his eyes, she was brave, strong, beautiful, funny, friendly, kind, loving and despite her flaws he always found her perfect.

He couldn't feel more luckier and happier to be the one she's in love with. He never thought she would notice him, much less be the one to confess first, it shows how brave she was to take risks like this.

"You're teasing me right now, aren't you?" He managed to say through his shaky voice as he felt his heart beating so fast that it could burst out of his chest any second now

"Of course not, how can you believe that? Besides, you were the one who started it" Thea emphasized with a mocking smile "Hey, let me see your face, don't hide from me" She suddenly took the boy's face in her hands when she noticed that he wasn't going to do it himself, and without permission she planted a small kiss on his lips before running away, leaving behind a completely stunned boy

It took him so long to get his brain to work again that before he knew it, the girl was already meters away from him, running so fast that it seemed like she would disappear from his sight at any second. He smiled like a fool, bringing his hand up to his lips with a small smile appearing on them. He had discovered that his favorite thing was to kiss that sweet girl who had stolen his heart.

And now that he can call her his, he wouldn't waste any moment with her, because despite everything, she wasn't for everyone, but she was for him. She had chosen him among all the other boys in the world, that is being very lucky, he was lucky to have her.

He smiled foolishly with his reddish-tinged cheeks, letting out a big sigh of enamored before running after his girlfriend, yes, you heard it. His beautiful girlfriend.
