So, the title chapter is probably NOT what the book is gonna be called. But, ya'know. It's what I got for now. Let's start off with our Main girl Emma, shall we?

Name: Emma

Gender/Pronouns: trans girl, she/her

Race: African American

Age: 15

Personality: she's shy but by no means a push over. She's the mom friend of the group and she's strangely organized for a nervous wreck.

Sexuality: Bisexual

Backstory: her dad left her and her mom to fend for themselves after Emma came out as a trans girl. He couldn't handle, "making a mistake". Because he left Emma and her mother lost half of their income, and because of that they had to move to the dirty part of the city. Ya'know, where the story starts.

Name: Kyda

Gender/Pronouns: cis girl, she/her

Race: Islamic

Age: 15

Personality: she acts tough and rough around strangers but around her friends and close friends she's just a dorky dork. She is all the way punk and willget in to a political debate with anyone. She has strong liberal belifs and has ACAB and BLM posters up in her room if that tells you how cool she is. She's a big nerd too. Loves anything dark and based on reality but far away enough from reality for her not to feel sad. She often listens to her music to calm herself down after getting mad or after a crying fit. She often feels like her punk idols are the only ones her understand her.

Sexuality: Lesbian

Backstory: Her hardcore Christian parents judge her for choosing to be Muslim and for "choosing" to be gay. She deals with their off handed comments about her betraying god and how she'll go to hell constantly. She feels trapped and unheard in her household.

Name: Jancita (She goes by JanJan tho)

Gender/Pronouns: Cis girl, she/her.

Race: Hispanic

Age: 15

Personality: your sterotypical scene kid! She's loud, energetic, childish, funny, and her vocabulary consists of dead memes and song lyrics! She's a sucker for sweets and loyal till the end, though, she does like pranking her friend though! With her 5 other siblings it's a different story though. She puts on a motherly and calm mask for them. Hiding her true self for their sake.

Sexuality: lesbian

Backstory: she's neglected by her parents, forced to take care of her younger siblings. She knows her parents don't mean to neglect her. They work too hard each day to the point they either pass out or need to relax for a long time when they get home. They say they work so hard to put food in their bellies and to put a roof over their head but their apartment looks dirty and broken down and they're usually too tired to get food from the store or to make meals.
