Maes Pov

I was on my way to Stella with our lunch since she didn't bring any again. But when I got to our spot she wasn't there. I thought maybe she was just running behind time. But ten minutes had gone by and nothing. So I decided to look on my phone to see her location. But when I went and looked it said we were no longer sharing. Said her location wasn't available and that worried me because she never took that off.

I saw Yetti and the twins coming up and I asked if they had seen her. They all say no and that's when I really began to worry. I started calling her phone and it went straight to voicemail. I began to slowly panic and decided to ask Miki if he or Jay knew where Stella could be. Walking into the cafeteria I went straight for Mikis' table.

"Do either one of you know where Stella is?" They both looked at me oddly and shook their heads no.

"Why?" It was Miki who asked.

"Because she didn't show up to our spot and when I went to check her location it said it is unavailable. And when I called her, it went straight to voicemail." I saw Mikis' facial expression change.

"What do you mean her location is unavailable?" It was Jay who asked this time. So I showed him. He got up quickly.

"Do you know anywhere she might have gone to?" I nodded knowing her escape was the park.

So we all three ran out of the cafeteria and headed to the car to go find Stella. We arrived at the park and all ran to the small clearing she always went to. But it was empty. I started to panic but tried not to show it.

"Let's not freak and head to the house and see if maybe she just went home and didn't want to be bothered." Jay said. I only nodded.

We arrived at Stella's house and all ran up to the door. It was locked so Jay opened it. Their parents were working thankfully.

"STELLA?" Nothing. So I went towards her room and the door was open. Noone was there.

"Guys, she isn't here." That's when it settled in and I was way more worried than before. It wasn't like Stella to just up and leave like that. Something was wrong.

"Where the hell is she!?" That was Miki and he was looking very panicked. But I brushed it off. I needed to find my best friend.

An hour had gone by and nothing. I was crying. Miki was pacing. Jay was freaking out and said he had to call his parents. But what we weren't expecting was for what their mother told us.
