Ellas POV

Three weeks had gone by and I was still avoiding Miki. He's learned to get over it. I guess you can say it had pretty much started going back to how things were before Miki confessed his feelings to me.

Lyn has been doing her usual. She'd bump me every chance she could. But I had no time for her. After about two weeks of her realizing she wasn't getting a reaction out of me she left me alone. She still was chasing after Miki. Which annoyed me, but again he didn't want me so whatever.

We got a new student in school. His name was Adam Morton. He was definitely cute but not for me to date. I was assigned as his tour buddy. I was annoyed at first because like who the hell wants to have a tail all day. But I got over it quickly. He was actually pretty cool. His first day was a week ago. Apparently he had most of the same classes as me. So I saw him pretty often.

He started going outside with me for lunch. Mae was starting to get used to him. But in the beginning she hated him. He isn't her favorite person but they keep it cool. Yeti and the twin were the same way. I didn't see what the issue was, nor why they didn't fully like him. He was a sweet kid.

Miki apparently didn't like him at all. One day Adam and I were walking out of our classes, headed to the next, when Miki bumped the shit out of him. But no one said a thing.

We had junior year homecoming in just two weeks. The girls were so excited. Then there was me. Everyone had dates, except for me. Well, until Adam asked me to go with him. At first I kindly denied. Told him I would go alone and made sure I told him we were just friends. But he said it would be a friendly date, not a dating date.

"You aren't going to let me say no, aren't you?" He shook his head no and chuckled.

"Nope, I won't allow my friend to go to this dance alone. When all her friends have dates." I rolled my eyes and just shrugged.

"Whatever, but this is just as friends." He simply nodded.

"Deal." He gave a big smile and we continued on our way to our next class. The school day was flying by and I was ready to head home. But then I remembered Mae and I were supposed to be going dress shopping today. So I decided to text her on the latest news.

Me: I'm going to homecoming with Adam. He asked me.

Me: Just as friends though. I made sure to tell him that.

Mae: Seriously?

Mae: Whatever makes you happy.

I knew that no matter how cool she acted around him, she really didn't like him. But Adam was really cool.

Mae: Are we still on for the mall after school to find us a dress?

Me: Yes.

I put my phone away after that text. The rest of the school day went on. Finally the school day was over. I was the first to the car. Then it was Mae and lastly Jay and Miki.
