~~~~
   Hey there! So, the list is progressively getting bigger, so yeah! Also, sorry if you get annoyed by it. I like to have a guide when I write/read, so yeah! Also, what's with the weird titles? They have words that start with the same letter!!! I know, I know! I just like these kinds of titles, because they're really catchy XD, so yeah! Enough with my rambling on, let's get to the chapter! :D
Your Point of View:
   I woke up with a killer headache, and groaned as I looked at the time. 8:45. Great... GAH! I slowly got up, and quickly got dressed in a (F/C) shirt, a (S/F/C) pair of shorts, and black boots with (F/C) shoelaces. I put a (S/F/C) colored bow in my hair, and walked out the door. Rose whined, and I turned back.
   "Aw! Come here!" I ran up to her, and she lifted up her paw and wagged her tail. "Is it getting better?" she barked, and I smiled. She stood up, and tried walking on it. She could barely walk. "I'll carry you down the stairs. Maybe Laurence got you food." I smiled. She jumped into my arms, and I carried her down the stairs. As I reached the bottom of the steps, I could smell bacon, eggs, and potatoes... I looked in the kitchen, and saw Laurence cooking.
   "Morning (F/N)! You came down just in time! I'm almost done with the eggs!"
   "Aw! You didn't have to cook!"
   "It's the least I can do, after you being so kind. Say, how's Rose doing?"
   "It definitely looks better. I still think we should see, Kiki was it?"
   "Yep, and that's probably a good idea. We can do it after breakfast!"
   "Sounds great!" I smiled. Laurence took the eggs off the burner, turning off the furnace, and putting the food on two plates.
   "I also put some food in Rose's bowl."
   "Great, did you hear that Rose?" Rose wagged her tail, and I set her down next to her bowl. Rose happily ate the food, and Laurence set up the table.
   "What do you normally drink for breakfast?"
   "Just orange juice." I answered. He poured two glasses of orange juice, and set them on the table. He pulled out your chair, and I sat in it, thanking him. Laurence sat across me, and I took a bite of eggs.
   "These are really good!"
   "Thanks. So, how did you sleep?"
   "I slept pretty great, except this morning I must have gotten head-rush or something. I was a bit dizzy."
   "I hate when that happens!"
   "I know, right?" We laughed, and continued to talk for the rest of breakfast, before I took my last bite of potatoes. "This was an awesome breakfast. Tell me this will happen more often?"
   "Of course! I'm glad you liked it! You grab Rose, and I got a collar on the coffee table in the living room. Hope you don't mind pink, I just thought it went well with the name. I'm gonna clean up the dishes before we go!
   "Aw! I'm sure it's an awesome collar! Thanks Laurence, you're the best!"
   "You're welcome." he smiled. I got up, and Rose was just finishing up her food. A minute later, she was done.
   "Well, I'm glad you're finally getting food. Come on, let's get your collar on." I grabbed the collar, and it was light shade of pink, and had a white dog tag with the name Rose on it in magenta letters."This is such a cute collar, Laurence!"
   "Haha! Glad you like it!" he called out. I clipped the collar onto Rose's neck, and she licked my cheek. "Aw! That's adorable!" Laurence gushed.
   "Oh you!"
   "I'm done with the dishes, ready to go?"
   "Yep! Come on Rose!"
   "I'll carry her, I'm sure she'll cooperate!"
   "OK, awesome!" Rose got into Laurence's arms, then licked him on the cheek as well. I giggled, as Laurence blushed. We walked over to the large farm, and entered it.
   "Hi there!" Kiki called out. "Be right back, Sean!" she said to a hamster, before walking over to us. "Hi Laurence! Hi (F/N)! Who is this cute little one?"
   "This is Rose. I found her behind my home yesterday, and her paw was hurt. That's why it's wrapped in bandages, but Laurence told me you were really great with animals, so maybe there's something you can do to help her."
   "Aw! Poor baby! Of course I can! She is such a cutie! Just leave her with me, and pick her up by the end of the day!"
   "Thank you so much, Kiki." I sighed of relief.
   "Of course! See you later then."
   "Bye!" Laurence and I said at the same time. We walked to Aphmau's home, as I noticed Garroth walking around.
   "Oh, hello guys. Good morning!" Garroth smiled.
   "Morning Garroth!" I smiled. "What are you doing out here?"
   "I got an anonymous note, that there was some noise coming from the forest. I'm going to go look.
   "Let us come with." Laurence said, "We've got nothing to do."
   "All right, just stay back. In case if it's any danger to the village."
   "Got it." Laurence replied. Garroth led the way, and we could all start hearing... faint music.
   "Well, it certainly doesn't sound dangerous." I commented. "It's coming from the left."
   "Good ear. Let's go." Garroth replied. As soon as we could hear music stop playing, we could hear faint sniffing.
   "Is someone crying?" Laurence asked us, whispering.
   "Sounds like it." I whispered back. "You guys stay back, mostly because your weapons are kind of menacing. They sound troubled. I'll take a look."
   "I can't let you do that!" Garroth panicked.
   "It's OK, I'll be fine. I'll yell if I need you."
   "Promise?" Laurence looked at me concerned.
   "Promise." I smiled. I headed over, and saw a person in a cloak and helmet sitting down. "Hello?" I asked them. They turned around, a pair of brown eyes filled with fear. They ran off, and I chased after them. "Wait! I'm not going to hurt you! Come back!" They turned around, and loudly sighed.
   "A-Are you a guard?" they asked me. It sounded like a girl.
   "No, I'm not."
   "Do you have a weapon?"
   "Nope. Not on me." they sighed, and looked up.
   "Just leave me be. I don't want to be a bother. I've got to leave anyways."
   "Why?"
   "It's a long story. A very long story. Look, unless you're here because I'm such a disturbance, I suggest you leave."
   "You can trust me. Are you OK?" I asked them. They cleared their throat, and sighed,
   "I'm fine."
   "No, you're not. I can tell by your tone."
   "You truly care about my lousy problems?"
   "I care about other human beings. Look, I can take you back to my home, and get you cleaned up. Is that fine?"
   "Are you sure y-you're not going to lock me up in a cage?"
   "Positive."
   "Fine, but until we get there, I'm keeping the helmet and cloak on."
   "That's fine. Now, come on." I walked away, and heard footsteps behind me. "Now, there are two other people waiting for me outside of the forest. I will tell them to put their weapons down, OK?"
   "That's fine. Just, I need some food and a shower." she said quickly.
   "OK." We walked a little bit, before I could see Laurence and Garroth. "Guys, put your weapons down. I'm going to take this person to my home. You can go get Aphmau, and send her over, OK?"
   "All right." Garroth simply answered. The boys went off, and the mystery girl and I walked back to my home.
   "Is no one else here?" she asked me.
   "Just us. Even my puppy isn't here."
   "OK. Are you sure I can trust you? It's just... I've been through stuff, and it's hard to trust anyone right now."
   "Yes, you can."
   "Don't judge when I take off this cloak, and my helmet, got it?"
   "OK." the girl sighed, and then took off her helmet. She had a black eye, a scratch across her cheek, and two bruises, on her nose and chin. She took off her cloak, which revealed even more scratches, bruises, and marks on her entire body. She was wearing a red cold should top, with blue shorts, and black boots that went slightly below the knee. Her hair was a medium brown, with purple tips, and she wore two brown bracelets on each of her wrists. She also wore a silver music note necklace.
   "What happened?"
   "Let's just say, war did. I had to flee, and even when I did, I was injured, with these bad boys. These knights were storming through our small village, and beat most of the villagers to a pulp. They were trying to find any magicks user. Most of my town is dead, and the one who aren't, are either captured, or will be dead in a matter of days. I'm lucky I survived, very lucky."
   "Why..."
   "The marks? Well, the knights had arrows, swords... I was trying to defend myself against 3 knights, one was using his hands, one had arrows, and one had a very sharp sword. They got me bad, before a man sacrificed himself to allow me to run. Bless his soul. Anyways, it hurts, and I kind of need to get bandages."
   "Right... well. Since I'm not going to let you go until you're completely healed, I'm (F/N)."
   "Nice to meet you... I'm Morgan. I apologize we had to meet in unfortunate circumstances. I'm sure you are a very generous and kind person."
   "I do get that a lot. Anyways, sit down, and take off your shoes. You're gonna be here for a while. Right now, those 2 men you briefly saw are getting the lord of this village. Rest assure you, they're all very nice people."
   "That's nice to *ow*, hear. I think they're here." I looked over to the door, and she was right. Laurence opened the door, and the 3 of them came in. Morgan looked down.
   "Oh my..." Garroth commented quietly.
   "You poor thing!" Aphmau ran up to her. "Ahem, I'm Lord Aphmau, and it has been brought to my attention that you were in the forest?"
   "Um, yes Lady Aphmau. I apologize for taking up your time, but I have just fled from unfortunate circumstances, as my village was attacked by O'kasis guards, who managed to kill most of my people, because my former lord did not agree to join their alliance. I was injured in the process, trying to protect my life. I was lucky to escape, as a man I didn't know sacrificed himself as a distraction, so that I could flee. Then, I saw the forest, and... then she saw me. And, my mind is a blur. T-they were looking for magicks users, and captured the ones in my village, except for one."
   "Do you know where they went?" Aphmau asked her.
   "You're looking at her." Morgan mumbled. We all gasped, as she sighed. "I don't have healing magicks, but I have mind-controlling magicks, and telekinesis magicks. Everyone in the village would protect me, because I was the only magicks user who could control actual people. I was the strongest. The other two could use barrier magicks, but only for a short amount of time, as they were young. I hate using it, and I use my magicks for good. I use my telekinesis for instruments. I used to play for weddings, parties, formal celebrations, and I still do. Unless you need a musician, I don't see why you need me.
   "Well, we're not going to leave someone like you on the streets, and a musician could be resourceful here, as the plaza holds many celebrations. Stay with us, you'll like it here at Phoenix Drop." Aphmau smiled.
   "I don't want to be a bother, really..."
   "You wouldn't be! Everyone here is extremely friendly, and we help each other out. What do you say?"
   "Well... I guess I'll stay. I really have no other place to go. I also don't have a house here."
   "Just stay in my guest room downstairs." I offered. Morgan's expression went from upset to surprised.
   "Really...?"
   "Yeah! The more the merrier! Plus, you need some time to heal up. Most of the cuts are minor, but some injuries are a bit concerning." I looked at her eye, and she slightly looked down.
   "Well, I guess I really don't have much of a choice, do I?"
   "Nope!" Laurence exclaimed.
   "Thank you all, so much."
   "Of course, now I should get going. You need your rest." Aphmau walked out of the house.
   "I'll be going too. Hopefully everything's OK. If you need anything, just come and get me." Garroth said, leaving behind Aphmau.
   "Are you sure you want me here?"
   "Yeah! Plus, you seem like a nice person. I just moved here a few days ago, and Laurence here helped me build this house." I said calmly.
   "How nice of you, oh, and I'm Morgan by the way." she smiled to Laurence.
   "Nice to meet you Morgan." Laurence smiled. "I'll go grab some more bandages."
   "Thanks Laurence." I said while sitting next to Morgan. "So, you're a musician?"
   "Yeah. It doesn't use up much energy either, meaning I could play for hours on end." she smiled.
   "Mind showing me a song?"
   "Not at all." she giggled. She tapped her necklace 3 times, which revealed a selection of instruments. She picked out a ton of instruments, and they appeared right in front of us.
   "That's amazing."
   "Wait till you see them play." she smirked. She closed her eyes, and suddenly, the violin started to play. Then, she started singing. Soon, she was playing a whole song, with her mind. The song ended, and she opened her eyes. Laurence and I were in complete shock, as she sat there and said, "So, what happens now? Aren't you going to fix me up?"
~~~~
HAHA I added myself in the book XD... Sorry if you don't like it, but I won't be in this very much >:D Anyways, this was mostly in intro to a brief character, so yeah :) This is my book, therefore I can do what I want!!! Also, I've gotten some requests to switch up Garroth and Laurence's parts in this book, and place it in another. I don't mind doing that for you guys, it's just school has started for me, and school comes before this, which is why I try and update early mornings or on the weekend. Once this book is finished, I can copy the chapters and change the names. What I don't think you realize is at the end of this book(which I already planned out), I will have two different endings. One with Garroth, and one with Laurence. Meaning, the events leading up to this, are just a story line. It doesn't matter if Laurence happens to live with you, or if Garroth is as of right now kind of distant, but you have no idea the kinds of things I do. I like to change up things, make it so that you don't expect it. You get me? So, keep that in mind as I update this book. Like I said, I won't be in the book as often as you, Garroth and Laurence would be, and I'm pretty much just a minor character. It's not like I'm totally going to take one of the boys for myself. And yes, the song Morgan performs is Rather Be by Clean Bandit ft. Jess Glynne. In fact, if this chapter can reach 10 votes, I'll post a cover on YouTube or Instagram(Probably Instagram) >:D So, that it gives you an idea what I sound like. XD Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this part, and I'll see you in the next one. Buh-bye! ~Morgan :D
