Hey! Before I start, this chapter will be introducing the winners of the contest! So, sorry if it seems a bit off from the book. I need to make sure they're introduced in a nice way. Also, a surprise for all of you! ;) OK! Let's go to the part! Whee!

Morgan's Point of View:

I watched as the boy looked behind the bush, and motioned for someone to come. I looked down, and a girl walked from behind him.
"You won't hurt us, will you?" she asked.
"No, I don't hurt anyone. You two look like you've been in the woods for a bit now."
"That's because we were." the boy slightly chuckled. He was... kind of cute, in a weird way... NO! You're... no. Can't get attached, Morgan. Focus."
"We need a place to stay." the girl said bluntly.
"I can offer that. I have a couple spare rooms." I replied, "I can also help patch up that arm of yours." I looked at the boy, whose face was red.
"Y-yeah. Thanks." he stood up straight, and grabbed a bag that the girl had.
"Follow me, then." I smiled. They did so, and we reached the inside of my home.
   "It's huge." the girl whispered.
"Well, I built it myself, with some help from the rest of the village."
"Really? Village?" the girl looked around.
"Yeah. I'm a bit separated from them, but they're just close by. Maybe later I can introduce you to Phoenix Drop."
   "Interesting." the boy replied.
"I haven't gotten your names..." I trailed off.
"R-Right! I'm Adam, and that's Jessica." he said nervously.
"No need to be nervous, and it's a pleasure to meet you two. OK, Adam, you can take this room to the left, and Jessica, you can take the room across from his. My room is just up the hall. Just get settled in, and I'll be downstairs." I walked away. Well, that was awkward... but they seemed nice. Confused, but nice.

Jessica's Point of View:

I opened the door, before smiling. It was an awesome room! It had a purple bed, with blue fixings. The walls were white, but one was painted the same blue as the bed, and the furniture was dark oak. I sat on the bed, and it was surprising comfortable. I opened up my backpack, which had an extra set of clothing, some of my things and a necklace, that was given to me from my family. I took the necklace, and put it on. I organized my things, and walked out. I knocked on Adam's door, and he answered.
"Hey. Did you get your things set up?"
"Yeah. Your room's cool!" I looked around. It was like mine, except his was red and black.
"I know, I think we got lucky landing here. She seems really nice..." Adam said, slightly dazed.
"Hey, are you OK? And, you promised me you would teach me combat!" I whined.
"Hey! I will, when I get to it. For now, it may take some time to adjust."
"Yeah... you look weird. Are you OK?"
"Weird, huh?" he smirked, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just... confused. In a weird way. It's like, all of a sudden, things were normal, then I run into you, and now... she never gave us her name." Adam mentally punched himself.
"I'll ask her. Ready to go downstairs?" I asked him, running to the door.
"Yeah!" we walked downstairs, only to see the mysterious girl... writing? "Hello?" she looked up, and smiled,
"Oh hello! I see you've already gotten settled in. Well, I guess I can introduce myself. I'm Morgan."
"Nice to meet you Morgan." Adam smiled, "Since you already know our names, what should we do now?"
"Well, I'm assuming you'll be staying here for a while, so feel free to do whatever. Which reminds me, I really need to patch up that arm of yours, Adam. It's going to get infected." Adam nodded, and I left to go look around.

Adam's Point of View:

Morgan grabbed a chair, and told me to sit while she went to get a first aid kit. I sat down, and looked around. Was it really just her living here? She didn't have too many pictures of her... was she alone? She came back downstairs, with a kit, and her hair was slightly messed up. As I looked closer, her eyes were still slightly puffy.
"OK, I got the kit, but since your arm has been in an injured state for a bit, I'm going to have to use a bit of alcohol to get rid of the bacteria. It's going to sting." she warned me. I nodded, and closed my eyes, tightly. I could hear her shuffling around the kit, and spraying something onto something else. "Alright, you ready?"
"Yeah." she placed a rag on my arm, and it started burning. I winced at the instant pain.
"Sorry!" she exclaimed. After a bit more of the burning, she took of the rag, and washed it with water. I opened my eyes, and groaned. "Sorry there. Didn't think it would sting that much. But, it was a deep gash. Mind if I ask what happened?"
"Well, I was walking by myself in the forest, and since I knew my way around it. I found Jessica with a group of men, who were definitely classified as kidnappers. I grabbed my sword and fought them, some running away. Unfortunately, one the men cut my arm, and then they disappeared. I took Jessica with me, and for maybe for 4 days, we were travelling, and then, we found your home."
"Sorry for that. But, why were you in the forest?"
"Well, I've always lived in the forest. I was 6 when I ran from my village. Most of my people were dead, because of O'kasis. That included my parents. I basically had nowhere to go except for the forest. Now, for about 13 years, I've been teaching myself how to read, fight, and fend for myself."
"O'kasis? M-My parents accepted the same fate. Only my parents passed 3 to 4 weeks ago. My brother and sister were captured, but I haven't got the strength and courage to go find them." I heard Morgan sigh.
   "I'm sorry to hear that."
"It's all in the past, but now I've found Phoenix Drop, and so have you. You and Jessica will love it here. Speaking of which, before suppertime you may want to meet Lord Aphmau." Morgan suggested, "She's very kind, rest assure you. She isn't like other Lords."
"Wonderful." I smiled. She smiled back, and her smile was so... pretty. NO! Y-you just met her, Adam!
"Yeah, anyways, your arm is patched up now. Should we go meet her?"
"Yeah, we should however, find Jessica."
   "Good point."
"I'm right here!" Jessica walked into the kitchen, "And I'm up for meeting the Lord of this place." she sat down next to us.
   "Great..."
   "Is something wrong, Morgan?"
"No. Nothing's wrong. We can go now." Jessica and I nodded, and we walked outside. "I have a path that leads to the village." Morgan pointed over to the end of it, "That's Phoenix Drop, so we're not too far." we walked, and found a group of people talking.
"Morgan... we need to talk. In private." a man with a helm covering his face told Morgan.
"Alright, but before we do so, I found these people near my home, and took them in. I know it's a bad time, but they need to be taken care of." Morgan
"I'll do it." a lady with a light purple dress answered.
"OK, let's go." Morgan walked with the man with the helm, and we remained with the group.
"Alright, Dante, (F/N) and I will guard. Brian, you need to keep a close eye on Katelyn's ship." a man with a green cape turned around.
"Got it." a man walked away.
"Lord Aphmau, take them to your house. It's safe enough as of right now."
"Alright." The lady answered. I watched as the rest of the group walked away from sight, and the woman led us to her house.

Garroth's Point of View:

I escorted Morgan to the guard house, the original one Lady Aphmau made, and closed the door.
   "Garroth, what's..."
"You got in an argument with Lady Katelyn?" I asked her, a tone of frustration audible in my voice.
"I had no choice but to step in and save (F/N) from emotional damage!" she defended herself.
"Do you know the consequences of mocking a Jury of Nine member? She is an alliance with O'khasis. We don't know how many guards are on the boat of hers. We are in no condition to fight!"
   "We won't have to fight!"
"Says who? We don't know how she's going to handle this!" I growled. Morgan stepped back, then growled back,
"If you think yelling at me is going to solve things, Garroth, then you're wrong. This is no where near professional."
"I am not yelling at you!" I roared. She squeaked slightly, then her expression went from surprised to raged.
"This isn't how you solve things. Something's on your mind."
"Yeah, the fact that she could fire a cannon off any moment!"
"No, not that... something else. I'm going to let you calm down. You're obviously stressed. Talk to me when you're calmer. Now is not the time." Morgan walked out, and (F/N) walked in.
"Garroth... was that you yelling?" she asked me.
   "Y-Yes." I sighed.
   "Are you OK?"
"No. I need a simpler job."
"Than why don't you take watch at the Guard Tower? That gives you a place to think, and not too many people are going to stop by there. You won't have to walk around, and it's also quieter."
"Yeah, I will. I need time."
"I see. I'll check up on you later. In the meantime, you may want to go. Now's not the time to be sitting around." I nodded, and left.
"Something's on your mind." Morgan's words replayed in my head. Something is on my mind, and it has nothing to do with Lady Katelyn. I stopped in my tracks. I messed up. Big time.

Laurence's Point of View:

I was walking past the old guard tower, ready to head over to Aphmau's, when I saw (F/N) sigh. Was she OK? I walked in, and she was sitting on a chair.
   "(F/N)..."
"I can't handle Katelyn here much longer. Her sudden appearance has just turned this village upside down."
"Hey, it's going to get better. She can't be here forever." I tried reassuring her.
"She's much more powerful than all of us combined! And... the dream..."
"The dream had nothing to do with this."
"But, it seems like it. I'm worried Laurence. I mean, this is my home now. It's where I want to stay. And, seeing even some of people confused, messed up, it makes me feel bad... and knowing the future a couple of months from now..." her eyes widened.
   "What?"
"W-well... I-I... I need to c-calm down." her eyes were slightly glossy. She was going to cry.
"Oh no, (F/N)..." she got up and hugged me.
"Will we be OK?" she asked me.
   "Of course..."
"No, promise me we'll be OK."
"I promise." I kissed her forehead, then she looked up, slightly blushing.
"Apologies (F/N), b-but I-I need to... g-get back t-t-to work." I said rushing out. Why was I nervous? Was that a good thing? She's right... all of us are confused, lost... oh Irene, please help Phoenix Drop.
~~~~
OK, normally I wouldn't say things like this, but I'm going to apologize in advance. Why? I'm apologizing for slower updates... Look, I got a message earlier today... and it was about one of my best friends from back in Washington, where I used to live. She's in the hospital, and I am terrified right now, because before I left, she told me, "I can't live without you." and then when I kept messaging her, she would seem so, monotone and not like herself. She was always bullied, a lot like me. So, I'm trying to get information from my good friend. I don't want her hurt, and I hate seeing her in the condition she's in right now. I'm in panic mode, and I'm sorry if I don't update. I hope you still enjoyed this crappy part, and I'll see you in the next one. Buh-bye guys <3 ~Morgan
