   Hello there! I don't much to say, other than the contest is ending soon! So, yeah... now to the part! Whee!!!
~~~~
Your Point of View:
   Katelyn was still here, and I needed more food. The village was on lock-down for a while, since no one wanted someone to be kidnapped, or hurt. I didn't want the same thing to happen again. Being abandoned, left... wasted away. No, they're trying to protect you, (F/N). I sat in the basement, with Rose at my side, and I wanted to do something with her, but we couldn't go outside, or anything. I looked out the window, only to see no one out. I went into my office, Rose following me there. The drawer was... open. I don't remember opening it. Maybe Laurence did? I looked, and everything was still there. Weird. I closed the drawer, thinking maybe I left it open, and sat in the chair. I looked around, and the office was already turning into a success. I heard a slight twinkling noise, and looked down to see my pendant glowing.
   "Garroth?" I held up the pendant.
   "(F/N), thank goodness. Laurence, Cadenza and Aphmau had to go to Meteli to do something personal. I'm in charge of Phoenix Drop while Lady Katelyn is here. Do not answer your door. Stay in a room where there are no windows. Hide Rose too, we can't risk anyone being taken right now."
   "OK. Wait, what's going on?"
   "Well, right now we're hoping that she won't be much of a threat, but Lord Aphmau requested that everyone is safe in their homes and hidden from harm, until we know for sure Lady Katelyn's gone. Please, just stay in your home."
   "Alright. I will."
   "Thank you. Be careful, (F/N). I don't want you getting hurt." Garroth disconnected, and the pendant stopped glowing. I sighed, closing the office door. This room didn't have windows, so I guess I was fine. The question was, how long would Rose and I be in here?
Morgan's Point of View:
   Them. They're here. And they're telling me to stay in my house? I went to my basement, and thought I would add to it. Make it a secret place, where I can do things. I might want to stay in my house for a while. Good thing they're making us do so, stay locked in our houses. I went to the small bathroom in the basement, and turned on the light. I looked in the mirror, and a teardrop slid down my face. This wasn't good. It was happening.
Your Point of View:
   Rose and I were wandering the house, and noticed something shooting from the distance. It was light. I could see Garroth and Dante walking towards the smoke. They headed towards... Morgan's house. Is she OK? I held my pendant, and tried calling Garroth.
   "Garroth?" I asked him.
   "Dante and I are busy. There was magic shooting out of Morgan's house. We're going to check on it."
   "Wait, that was magic? But, she only uses instruments!"
   "It could've been a malfunction with her magicks."
   "I don't know. I've seen something like that. I think it was when I was 8 or something. All I know is..."
   "Why don't you just come with us?"
   "Yeah, I will." I walked out of the house, and ran over to Garroth. He had already ended the call.
   "What do you think that was, (F/N)?" Dante asked me.
   "Well, when I was 8, I read a book about a war that happened long ago. What happened was, a magicks user was under a curse, and when they had turned 18 or 19, the curse wasn't broken, so they became a runaway, and I think later died of the curse."
   "Do you think this could be happening to Morgan?" Dante looked at me, concerned.
   "Probably not. It was extremely rare. But, then again, that was a lot of energy if magicks is the case." I commented.
   "We're almost there." Garroth ran up, and tried opening the door. "It's locked!"
   "Well, you did say to lock our doors, you know, because of Katelyn..." I trailed off. Garroth knocked on the door, calling out Morgan's name.
   "She's not answering. Should we knock the door down?" he asked us.
   "Well, maybe she's scared that Katelyn's at the door instead of us."
   "Well, magicks can be deceiving. I say we try walking around the perimeter, and someone stays at the door." Dante explained. It was a pretty good idea.
   "You two walk around the area, I'll stay by the door." Garroth stated. Dante and I nodded, and we both started walking around.
   "What was that? Her magicks are normally a magenta kind of color. That was like an grayish-blue color." I commented. Wait, I think there's a door right there." I pointed from the window. There was a pink door, one that I never noticed from any other time I was there.
   "She might have installed a basement in her house." Dante pointed out.
   "A basement? She already made a garden! Why would she need the space? It's just her, right?" I asked him.
   "From what I know, yes. Let's tell this to Garroth. Maybe he knows something." we walked back to the door, and Garroth was there, patrolling the area.
   "Did you find anything?" he asked us.
   "Yeah, she must have installed a basement or some sort of room underneath the house. But, other than that, there's not much evidence of any magic. We may have to knock the door down. This might be serious." Dante answered.
   "I mean, it was a pretty large explosion. I wonder if Aphmau saw it." I questioned out-loud.
   "That's right! She's in Meteli! We need to knock this door down and get to the bottom of this." Garroth backed up, and ran into the door, instantly knocking it down.
   "WHO'S THERE?" Morgan yelled. Her voice sounded... different.
   "Calm down, it's just me, (F/N), Garroth and Dante." I yelled back.
   "I'm fine. Please, leave."
   "No, not until we know what happened." Garroth answered. "Where are you?"
   "Leave, please! I don't need this right now. I'm kind of... sick. Right now. And I don't need it spreading." her voice went down a little.
    "Come up, or we'll go down there."
    "Fine." she went upstairs for a bit, and she did look sick. Her face was pale, almost ghostly, and her hair was in a beanie for some reason. She looked down, and she was dressed in grays and blacks. Like her normal clothes, but different colors. "See? I'm not feeling good, s-so... yeah... sorry about the explosion, that happens sometimes."
   "O-Ok." I answered, and turned around to go downstairs. That was when I noticed a strand of blue and gray hair, that wasn't covered by the beanie. I walked up to her, and quickly took off the beanie. She screamed, and ran downstairs. What? Her WHOLE HEAD of hair, was silver, with blue tips. She dashed down the stairs, tripping and falling a couple stairs. She quickly got up, and closed a door, locking it.
   "What was that?" Garroth asked us.
   "Did she dye her hair?" Dante asked us.
   "There's no way that silver hair was dyed. It looked too... what's the word? There isn't a word, but it definitely did not look like dye." I replied.
   "Should we go down there?" Dante asked us.
   "No, let me go down there." I answered. Garroth sighed,
   "(F/N)..."
   "No, she's my friend, and I have to help her. I don't care."
   "We can't let you go down there when there's a threat."
   "We have the pendants, and you can just stay upstairs. I'll be back." I went downstairs, and gulped. What would I see down there?
Laurence's Point of View:
   "Laurence..." Aphmau started, "It's morning now, and we need to get back to Phoenix Drop. We know to know if the village is safe.
   "Are you sure we can just leave Cadenza here? I mean, look what happened not too long ago! She was almost sacrificed! We can't just leave her, with the risk of some other Shadow Knight coming."
   "Then, you can stay with Cadenza. I'll go back to Phoenix Drop on my own." Aphmau replied.
   "I-I..."
   "I know you want to make sure that Cadenza and Hayden are OK, but as of right now, I need to go back. I'm the Lord. It's up to you whenever or not you want to stay."
   "I'll... stay for a bit. Maybe come back in the afternoon if I feel like it. Safe travels, my Lord."
   "Thank you." Aphmau left the guest house, leaving me to question whenever or not I made the right decision. I sat down, placing my head in my hands, and looking down at my feet. There was a slight smudge of dirt from Rose's paw. I chuckled slightly, remembering the time when she tackled Garroth into the water, and when (F/N) died of laughter, because of Garroth taking the opportunity of sitting on me. (F/N)... she's still in Phoenix Drop. She's with... him. And not me. The words Dante spoke continuously played in my head, over and over again.
   "Go for it... You can't waste time pondering on the same questions... take a chance."
   "I need that chance." I mumbled. I got up, quickly following Aphmau. She looked back, smiling.
   "I knew you wanted to go see (F/N)." she smirked.
   "Huh?"
   "It's kind of obvious, Laurence. But, glad to know you're coming back. Katelyn being there gives me the shivers." she sighed, "Hopefully everyone is OK."
   "Yeah, hopefully." I looked up, to see two birds fly above my head. Hopefully.
Your Point of View:
   I walked towards the locked door, and knocked on it.
   "It's only me, (F/N)."
   "No. Please, I just want to be left alone for a while." she sniffed from across.
   "Please, let me in. I'm not going to hurt you."
   "I know you're not going to hurt me, but I might hurt you." (Is anyone else getting a Frozen vibe here? No? Just me?)
"It can't be that bad. Your hair looks fine."
   "It's not just my hair, (F/N). It's... nothing. Please, I don't need anyone here right now. The blast of magic was just, shifting. Don't worry about it."
   "I'm not leaving you, Morgan. You know you can tell me anything, right?"
   "Y-yeah, of course I do. Just, not now. If I get too mad, I could be a threat. So, maybe just give me some time?"
   "OK, we will. I'll check up on you tomorrow."
   "Thank you." I nodded, going back upstairs.
   "Let's go." I said.
   "Why?" Garroth asked me.
   "She obviously needs time to take this in. I mean, that blast happened minutes ago! We can't just pressure her right away!"
   "That is true, Garroth. She has a point." Dante commented.
   "I guess. We'd better patch up the door, and leave." Garroth sighed, picking up the door. We helped him place it back, and we all left. Soon, we found Laurence and Aphmau, returning from their small trip.
   "Wait, where's Cadenza?"
   "She thought it would be best if she stayed there for a bit." Aphmau replied. "What were you all doing?"
   "We had a bit of a trouble, but quickly got it resolved." Dante answered.
   "I see. Is everyone alright?"
   "For the most part, yes." Garroth answered.
   "For the most part?" Laurence repeated. He looked suspicious of Garroth's words.
   "Well, we're going to investigate something tomorrow, for now. Everything's alright. How was Meteli?" Garroth asked them.
   "It was alright. Not much of a great trip, but it was fine. Did Katelyn do anything?"
   "No. We made sure of it." Dante answered.
   "Good. Say (F/N), what are you doing out?" Laurence asked me.
   "Well, I helped investigate, and I would like to help tomorrow as well." I commented. Garroth continued,
   "She surprisingly knew a lot about the situation, and I think I need to do something. (F/N), would you consider being the village's detective?"
~~~~
   Detective. LOL, what a position! Congratulations! :D So, realizing what I have been doing, I should say a few things. Did I intentionally make a #Larroth scene in the last part? Honestly, no, I didn't... I just found that adorable. I had no idea #Larroth was a thing until 2 days ago XD... and the CONTEST. It's ending Tuesday, so if you haven't entered and want to, do so NOW. But, away from that subject, I'm actually kind of anxious for tomorrow. My school does a news broadcast, and tomorrow will be my first report! I promised my friend I would wear my Attack on Titan(Shingeki No Kyojin) jacket on camera XD, so yeah! Also, I have decided that I would write a side story! I am still torn, whenever or not I want to do a Laurence or Garroth one. So far, Laurence has gotten more votes. If you haven't taken the poll, it's still open, so yeah! I'll probably do the one with the most votes! (By the way, did anyone think that Garroth was going to ask (F/N) out in front of everyone, because it seemed like that to me :P) Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this part, and I'll see you in the next one! Buh-bye! ~Morgan :D
