Appearance: Meiko has long wavy dark purple hair and lilac eyes with a dark violet bow with pearls surrounding the middle on the right side of her head. As a villain, she wears a black lace choker, a black short dress, and tall black leather boots. She also wears black gloves that she always been doing for years due to her ability to kill anyone with a single touch. She used to have a medium brown color when she was little, but she dyed her hair dark purple after the fire incident a long time ago and began working for hero killer, Stain.

Hobbies: Drawing, baking, watching YouTube videos, watching horror films, napping, reading books, hanging out with her close friends Himiko, Magne, and Dabi, chatting with Mr. Compress, and annoying Tomura

Personality: Distant, cynical, sarcastic, brutally honest, dry humored, depressed, introverted, lazy(when it comes to cleaning her room), gets grumpy when woken up early, secretive, smart, cunning, loyal, caring, cautious, and protective.

Information: Meiko grew up in a family as the only child where she and her family once lived at a large house. Meiko was quite quiet and is rather a shy and demure child. That is until she met her next door neighbor named Ginji, who is quirkless. They were close as a result where Ginji kept boasting about being a superhero when he grows up to her as well as showing his quirk to control earth. Amazed, this leads to her being a superhero as well. Soon Meiko's quirk manifested when she was playing with a playmate from school until one fatal day, Meiko was playing tag with her friend until she touches his back that causes him to die from her poisonous touch to the point of decay. Horrified, her parents moved into a tall apartment and transfers her to another school, but this didn't make her any better. His death traumatized her so much that she wore gloves as her way of protecting herself from killing others with her quirk. Despite having a quirk, many children shunned and ridiculed her for having a "cursed" quirk. She wasn't fazed by the bullying as she felt like "she deserved it" due to her guilt of killing her only friend with her "dangerous" quirk. That is until she met and saved by a young girl named Saki Hagiwara, who can manipulate water. At first, she was wary and nervous around Saki, but slowly warms up to her after seeing how kind and caring she is without showing hatred or judging her for her quirk. They became close as a result and Meiko always shows her drawings of her being a superhero along with Saki and Meiko. They even talked about superheroes and how they want to be heroes like All Might. Then the two made a promise to each other to achieve their dreams together as heroes. But her views on heroes has changed during the night when she and her parents were caught in a fire at their apartment. While everyone was trying to escape from their fiery  apartment, Meiko and her parents were stuck at the third floor where her parents died from the impact when the ceiling crashed down on her parents. With no one to protect her, Meiko hurried down stairs to the first floor as fast as she can. But once she was about to enter to the first floor, a large board fell on top of Meiko leaving her stuck. On top of that, her left leg was broken and she was compressed by the heavy amount of bricks that were lying on top of her. She tried crying for help when she sees All Might and the heroes, but to her shock, none of them didn't hear her cries as she was a far distance from them. Meiko became shock and was in disbelief that her number one hero left her to die. She was about to embrace her death until she was saved by a tall and intimidating man. The man introduced himself as Stain, an infamous hero killer. Meiko was confused at first, but she soon remembered what happened and how All Might and the heroes left her to burn alive. Enraged, Meiko developed an intense hatred for all heroes and decides to work for Stain. Thus, she changed her name from Meiko Azuma to Nightshade. Meiko's goal is not only for revenge against All Might, but to make a new world for those without quirks as well.
