BACKSTORY ; Paladin grew up in Hydra, as apart of one of their experiments to create a new breed of super soldiers. He went through vigorous training, and severe trauma that he doesn't talk about from a young age. He learned quickly that emotions were just hinderances for missions and he quickly put his aside whenever he did anything with others. It was better to not have loud emotions since they just got him in trouble when he was younger. He was injected with super soldier serum and an undisclosed serum that gave him the strength and wit of a super soldier, as well as the power to create portals and weapons. When he was fifteen he had become so compliant, he was a danger to others since he did everything his superiors said without thinking twice, going on several missions that required his skill sets. After one of these missions he was taken to a lab since they no longer needed him in hydra due to those who were more advanced. They were going to eliminate him, but one of the older agents took him to a secret base to give him a life he never had. This man rescued many others creating a team known as The Rouges. A team for hire. He wears a mask to hide his face so no one can get to him using his identity. He still does most things he is told by superiors, but has gained a sense of self he never had in Hydra. He stuck with a variant of the name Hydra had given him as a child, claiming it as his own. He stays mostly inside of the Rouges' base keeping to himself. When he is out and about, around people, he has his mask on, both literally and figuratively.
