Ok I just received word that there's a site called 4Chan that is planning to hack Wattpad and possibly add inappropriate chapters to our stories.

I don't really know all the details. But felt the need to raise awareness about this.

Don't panic just be careful and if anything happens out of the ordinary or your account starts acting strange in anyway be sure to report it.

And keep an eye out for any strange activity like stuff you didn't post being sent from your account.

And always remember to keep all personal information like passwords, usernames and email addresses private. As well as anything that could be traced to you or point to your real world identity or physical location.

And you might want to do more research on this problem because like I said I don't really have all the details and do not wish to accidentally make a mountain out of a molehill.

Just remember to always trust your own instincts and use common since. And anytime your gut tells you that something is off listen to it. It's usually right.

And again I don't wish to scare anyone I just want you all to be prepared and know of this potential threat. Because to quote my favorite line from GI-Joe. Knowing is half the battle.
