And Magnus's outfits ^^^^^

"OI!" someone snapped their fingers by Magnus's ears, waking him up from his beautiful slumber.

Yawning, he looked at Jace's annoying face through his half-opened eyes.

"Why did you wake me up at the crack of dawn, Blondie?" he sneered, pulling the blanket over his face to block out the garish sunlight. Jace quickly yanked it away.

"One, my name isn't Blondie. It's Jace." The blond boy argued, his hands on his hip which, Magnus thought, made him look remarkably like a mother "And two, it's not early anymore. It's 8 a.m."

Magnus's eyes almost popped out of their eyeholes. He had never woken this early , especially in the holidays. He usually just stayed in bed until his stomach screaming for food or he felt the need to go to the bathroom.

"You have fifteen minutes to get ready, or else I'll get Alec to drag you out of bed."

Magnus seriously considered the offer for a moment, then he immediately changed his mind as he realize his current morning state.

"Out!" He kicked Blondie out before diving into his enormous suitcase. He literally cried out in relief when he looked at the clothes Catarina picked out for him. Yes there wasn't any glitter in sight but at least they were still bright and colourful and not plain colored or something. His best friend was a life saver. Still, he didn't know where she dug up these clothes. Maybe at the very corner of Magnus's huge closet. He also almost cried when he saw some sparkling clothes Cat snuck in without his father knowing. That amazing girl!

After changing into a pair of tight, dark blue jeans, a navy sweater, and styling his hair, he jogged down the corridor.

"By the Angel! I said 15 minutes, not an hour!" Jace complained when the flamboyant 19 year-old strolled into the kitchen. Before Magnus could throw a comeback at the golden boy, Alec spoke up.

"Stop it, Jace! He's new to this routine. You weren't so different when you first moved in." He placed a plate of eggs and bacons in front of Magnus, ignoring the heat rising up on his cheeks as the older boy smiled brightly at him.

"I was ten back then!" Jace exclaimed, devouring a mouthful of food.

"And you aren't now?" Alec sighed, rolling his eyes. Magnus burst out laughing so hard he missed the awe look on Alec's face when he turned his head to Magnus's direction, and the sparkling in his blue eyes as he watched Magnus laugh. Jace, on the other side, did not seem to amuse at all.

"Well then," he huffed dramatically, standing up "I see that you guys are ganging up against me, I will escort myself out of here. No need to bid me farewell."

"No one intend to." Magnus mumbled not so quietly. Jace ignored the comment, swaying his way out of the room "If you need me, I'm at the shop."

"Say hello to that "someone" for me." Alec yelled after him, received a "Fuck you!" back. Alec chuckled and finished his breakfast.

"You guys are very close!" Magnus stated, voice drippped with jealousy. "I'm an only child. I'll never know how it feels to have siblings who you can count on."

"They can be a pain in the ass sometimes." Alec confessed, a smile found its way to his angelic face, "but we always have each other's backs no matters what."

Suddenly aware of the silence, he looked up. Their eyes locked for a moment which seemed like forever before the blue-eyed boy blushed and clearing his throat awkwardly.

"I think...I think we should...we should...uhm...teach you how to bake." He stuttered. Usually, Magnus would love to see the shyness and innocence of Alec, but the realization struck at him like a brick.

He had to bake a cake! Lilith helped him!

"We should start off with something easy first..." Alec's voice trailed off as his eyes flicked through his family's traditional recipes, his hand rolling the other's sleeve up.

Magnus could not help but notice the way Alec's muscular biceps flexing under the dark fabric and wonder how would it feel when he traced his slender fingers on them, making the younger one blush. Would he whimper under his touches? Would he –

"Magnus? Are you listening?"

"Uh what?" Magnus smiled sheeplishly at Alec "Pardon me for my loss of concentration, darling, just you're too distracting for your own good!"

Alec's cheeks reddened like a tomato, his Adam's apple bobbled up and down as he swallowed hard. His lips parted then closed then parted again, like he tried to say something but not a single word came out.

"I-I..uhm..I..." He spluttered, refusing to look at Magnus in the eyes.

"You act like you have never been complimented before!" Magnus smiled. Alec nodded shyly, speaking with a barely audible voice "I haven't."

Magnus was surprised.

"It's usually Jace that gets complimented, not me." Magnus frowned. He really didn't see anything special about Blondie. Sure he's good looking but have you seen Alexander?

"Well we got a problem. Because a beautiful person like you should be reminded of your beauty everyday." Magnus announced solemnly, causing another wave of heat to the shorter's cheeks.

"I think we...I think we should choose cupcakes!" Alec turned his attention to the recipe book. Magnus sighed, pulling his sleeves up to his elbows. This was not going to be pretty!

"This is the fifth egg I've messed up. I'll never know how to crack an egg!" Magnus slammed his forehead on the fridge hopelessly.

"It's Ok." Alec soothed him, trying to lighten up the mood "At least you didn't break anything!"

After 5 minutes of Alec's encouraging speech, Magnus agreed to give baking another chance. Alec showed him every step meticulously, making sure Magnus watched him carefully when he whisked the mixture or when he divided it into the pans. Magnus even suggested Alec hold his hand while he tried to mix the mixture. So you could imagine a very timid Alec awkwardly placed his hand on top of a very smug Magnus's one.

Waiting for the cupcakes in the oven, his eyes darted to the figure sitting on top of the counter then Magnus came up with an idea.

"Alexander!" Alec's head whipped to the other side before Magnus smeared the cupcake frosting all over his face.

"HEY!!!". Magnus cracked up.

"Your-Your face!" he said between laughter.

"You're gonna pay for that!" Alec hopped down and before Magnus could duck, the blue-eyed boy had threw a handful of flour on his chest. Magnus wasted no time throwing baking powder at Alec. It soon turned into a food fight as they kept throwing everything in reach at each other and laughing their heads off.

"What is happening in here?" an angry voice startled them both. There was Maryse, standing by the door, more furious than ever.

"Mom!" Alec gulped, his arms dangled at his sides. Even Magnus shrank back under the woman's glare. Then they heard the thumping sound of footsteps approached them.

"Hey mom, what's wro..." Jace's trailed off as he took in the sight of the mess. Letting out a weak yelp, he leaned against the frame to support himself.

"I need...I need some fresh air." He mumbled, lumbering out of the room. Alec's lips pressed into a thin line as he looked at his mother with guilt. But before either of the boys could apologise, Maryse had cut them off "Clean this mess. I'll calm Jace down." After she had gone, Magnus turned to Alec, who was dumbfounded at the situation.

"So...OCD much?"
