I was lucky enough to see the figure before it bounced on me, trying to bite my neck. My gun fell to a corner, and I struggled with the being until I punched it right in the face, freeing myself from its grip. I dived for the gun, turned around and did a headshot as the creature leaped in midair with its vicious claws. It fell to the floor, dead. I examined the being: a doctor, bloodstrains on his shirt and mouth, no pupils, red hair, and long nails. After looking at it for 30 seconds, I proceeded towards the door.
     The Emergency Room(ER) was ruined with blood on the wall and dead bodies, probably the doctors. I scanned the room for Ana, but there was no sign of her in the room. I checked the bodies and discovered that most of them were eaten. I later saw the poor nurse, as part of her hands must have been eaten by the figure that attacked me.
     A sharp movement occurred towards the door, and I bolted after the figure. The figure was faster than I thought, as it was already almost near the door. I held my gun high and ordered it to stop. It stopped instantly, and gave a short metallic laugh. The laugh wasn't the one that surprised me, but it was the voice of someone that mattered to me most...
     It can't be...
     Ana!
     She stared at me, again giving that same laugh. I was shocked and horrified, and didn't know what to do. To my amazement, she spoke:
     " Joe, be a good dear, and stay where you are".
     I instantly knew that was a proposal of death, and I immediately opened fire. Ana ran towards me, dodging the bullets and yawning for my face. I dodged the attack and ran for my dear life, when I discovered I was out of ammo. I ran towards the door and discovered it was locked, and looking back, Ana, like a devil, was slowly coming towards me and giving that same laugh.
     " You are mine forever Joe", she said," Come to me my dear".
     I brought out a jack knife and ran to confront her myself. She was excited and also ran towards me. We engaged in a serious fight, with me trying to avoid her razor shape nails. Ana, who I had known for a very long time was a very poor fighter, knocked my jack knife away, raised me high with such incredible strength, and slammed me through a wooden table. I groaned in pain as I awaited for my fate. Ana jumped on me, scratched my left cheek, and gave that same metallic laugh. Slowly, blood oozed from my cheek. She steered as me with devilish eyes and said:
     " Good dear, now hold still".
     She grabbed me by my collar, sniffed me for a brief moment, and jumped away as if I had punched her in the face. She screamed so loudly that the cops who surrounded the area had to cover their ears. It was so loud that the all the glasses broke to pieces. I too had to save my ears from her scream, and I was still dazed from it. Recovering from that, I saw Ana racing out through a window and attacking several people, infecting them in the process! People screamed and ran for their dear lives.
     I struggled to get back to my feet, and was surprised to see people running here and there, being pursed by mindless victims of Ana. I sighted a cop who was infected, and immediately bolted for his gun. I grabbed it and began shooting the creatures left and right. I ran back to my SUV, which was about to be hijacked by a man trying to save his own skin. I gave him a kick in his balls and pushed him aside. As I placed my key in the ignition hole, the man had a playmate who helped his ministry. Seeing this, I turned on the engines and took to the streets. People were getting infected, husbands forsake their wives, friends abandoned their friends, and helpless victims got infected. Every man for himself then, and may God help us all.
     I ran over some of the infected folks and rained bullets at them, all with the hope that I'll get to safety.
     " Help me! Please!", a voice came from the rear.
     I looked out and saw a man running furiously towards my car, with about five mindless folks racing for his blood. At first, the thought of ditching him came across my mind. But I had compassion over him, and so I yelled:
     " Get down!".
     He did a tiger vault and stayed down, and with my Uzi I released some bullets on his pursuers. Stopping the vehicle, I ordered him to get inside, and he did so immediately. With him on board, I speed off as quickly as possible.
     " Thank you a lot", he said," I would have been their meat if you hadn't intervened".
     Ignoring his gratitude, I questioned him," Who are you?".
     " The name's blue friend", he replied
     " Don't call me that. Just because I save you doesn't means that I trust you".
     " Whatever you say. But please can you tell me what the heck is going on?".
     " I wish I had the answers to that, but first we need to get to safety as fast as possible".
     " My house is around the block. It can serve as our refuge for awhile".
     " Then what are we waiting for? Off we go then!".
     We left the havoc and went straight for Blue's house.
