Lian's POV

We finalized the treaty between the Middle Kingdom and Qui-gong. Then stayed awhile. Shang and I enjoyed our mini honeymoon. My sisters married Ling, Yao and Chein-po. Before we all had to return home.

Father was not please that my sisters broke their vow. But was pleased I was able to form a treaty with Qui-gong without marriage. He was not thrilled of my sisters choices in husbands. But approved as they did help save his life and the kingdom. I discovered I am pregnant with mine and Shang's baby. We are very excited for our future baby. He says he wants a son, but I know he is secretly praying for a girl.

Anyway, today we are at Mulan's village to celebrate her and Honghui's union. Mulan and I have told our husbands about Mushu. Honghui and Shang decided to unit all our temples. Shang has already united his and mine. Today Honghui would unite his with Mulan. Honghui has shaved.

"So what have you been dying to tell us all day?" Mulan asks as we head for her families temple.

"Nothing" Shang lies.

"You're a terrible lair cousin" Honghui states.

"We are expecting" I tell them with a smile.

"Wow, congrats" Honghui says slapping Shang on the back. While Mulan hugs me happily.

"When are you due?" she asks me.

"Not for a while yet" I state. "We hoped you'd be god parents" I add.

"We'd be honoured" Honghui tells me and Mulan nods her head in agreement. As we reach the Fa family temple. Honghui takes out a tablet.

"Honghui, what are you doing?" Mulan asks as she smiles.

"Watch and see" he tells her. As Shang hugs me from behind. Resting his head on my shoulder. We hear Mushu cheering and he soon appears in front of us.

"So this is the famous Mushu?" Shang asks.

"Somehow I thought he'd be bigger" Honghui states. Shang nods his head in agreement.

"Say what? You both told them about me? About us?" Mushu asks Mulan and I.

"Of course we did" I tell him with a smile.

"We have no secrets from our husbands Mushu" Mulan states. "We told them everything" she adds.

"Everything?" Mushu asks scared as he hides behind Mulan. "Everything? Everything?" he asks. Honghui and Shang kneel before him hands together.

"That's right, Great Golden Dragon of Unity" they say together winking at him. Before standing back up.

"I still don't get it. What does combining our temples do?" Mulan asks.

"It gives me back my pedestal" Mushu declares happily bouncing on his tail.

"Wait. Can you do this? Aren't there rules?" Mulan asks us.

"Of course there are" I tell her with a smile.

"Right next to the rules about dressing up like a man and joining the army" Shang teases. I kiss his cheek. Mushu starts to demand things and we leave the temple.

(Time skip)

So a month ago I gave birth to mine and Shang's first born baby. Shanti, our little princess. Mulan is expecting also. My sisters are also, but aren't as far along as Mulan is. Today Shang and I have come to her home to introduce her to our baby. As well as give her a gift for her future one.

When we arrived she wasn't home. Honghui was showing her a house he had brought for them. So Shang and I have decided to wait in her families garden under the Cheer Blossom tree. Which is in full bloom. Shanti is wrapped up in one of Shang's old capes. She is such a daddy's girl.

"The blossoms are beautiful today" I state.

"They sure are" Shang agrees as he looks at our daughter smiling brightly as she sleeps. I giggle. "What?" he asks me.

"Nothing" I say as I smile warmly at our bundle of joy. Due to my pregnancy, my coronation had been post-pond. But I'll be crowned Empress of China in a few weeks. I don't know how I am going to juggle being a mother and Empress. But dad managed to handle the job fine and he had four daughters. Besides, he and my sisters will be there to help when I need them. As my head advisors.

"Shang! Lian!" Honghui calls and Mulan shushes him as Shanti stirred in my arms. But did not wake up. We turn and greet them with a smile.

"How are the troops going?" Shang asks Honghui.

"Going well" Honghui states.

"Oh she's beautiful Lian" Mulan tells me. "May I?" she asks. I nod my head and hand her my daughter.

"Isn't that your old captain cape?" Honghui asks Shang.

"Yes, she won't sleep without it" Shang states.

"Unless she is in your arms" I state smiling up at him. He smiles back and kisses me gently.

"I can't wait for my little one" Mulan states.

"He or she will be here in a few months" I assure her. "Speaking of, a gift" I say handing her bag as she lets Honghui hold their god daughter. She opens it taking out the baby mobile. "To hang over the baby, my sisters and I made it ourselves. It's unisex so you can use it no matter the gender of the baby" I explain.

"I love it, it's beautiful" she states hugging me. "Would you both like to stay for dinner?" she asks.

"We'd love too" I tell her as Honghui hands Shang our daughter. We all go up to the house. Where we are greeted by the Fa family. Mulan and I then helped her mother prepare dinner. Until I had to nurse Shanti. I joined the others afterwards and Shang takes Shanti allowing me to eat in peace.

We stayed a few days. Before returning to the Middle Kingdom. A few weeks later I am crowned Empress and my little girl a Princess. A couple months later, Mulan gave birth to her daughter Zuri. My sisters had their babies. Two boys and two girls. Ting-ting had twins.

A couple years later, Shang and I had out second baby. A son, who we named after his father. We never had anymore kids after that. But Mulan and Shang did. Along with two of my sisters. We all lived happily ever after.
