Jimin had let a sigh escape his lips as he had started to regret coming to his meeting with Taehyung and Yoongi at their usual place. In the beginning, they both had appeared happy to be finally seeing him, but after a while, their general catch-up was done and Jimin had brushed over the lines of confusion they might have still had about the mess between him and Jungkook, and they both had appeared relieved to hear that his relationship with his brother was getting better, Taehyung had changed the subject and had started to lowkey display a certain hostility against Yoongi in his words because of the fact that despite them both having been in the same situation, only Taehyung had ultimately lost his girlfriend for Dae and Yoongi hadn't broken up.

"You sound rather bitter about the fact that Ari left you but I shall remind you that your break up is not my fault. I wasn't the one that told her abruptly the truth nor I was the one who forced you into our bet initially." Yoongi couldn't hold his tongue any longer from speaking even though he had no intentions of getting into an argument with him.

"Oh worry not, Jungkook will hear his fair share too once I actually get to see him, but you seriously shouldn't pretend to be so innocent. You owe me at least an apology" Taehyung 's words had Yoongi crack up for a moment, finding his words absurd.

"Do you even listen to the things you say? I wasn't the one that really tried to get with your girlfriend, but you did. It's not my fault that I was smarter and found a different approach to win the bet. If someone owes anyone an apology, that's you to me for trying to really hit on my girlfriend." Yoongi spat right back at him with a clear anger in his eyes for just because he hadn't mentioned it, it didn't mean that he had forgotten about the fact, that had basically placed Taehyung as an untrustworthy friend on his list, when it comes to Dae at least.

" Guys there's no point in pointing fingers at each other.No one can speak of anyone's intentions and be absolutely sure that it is indeed so. It was a stupid bet from the beginning. And if you knew that you would feel bothered then you shouldn't have started this at all. Now you have to live with the outcomes. Don't be immature and start fighting over this." Jimin tried to reason with them and both Taehyung and Yoongi lowered their gazes for he had a point.

" Honestly, I thought I loved Ari but I was always aware that our relationship wouldn't last forever. The fact that she replaced me so soon, however, sure stings."

"No way! She found another already ?!" Yoongi displayed the surprise on his face briefly over hearing the news.

"She met a dude on her flight to Greece. She has been posting pics with him all over her social media, since then. They are going all sorts of places together." Taehyung bitterly informed them further then proceeded to gulp down a portion of his drink.

"Oh come on, they might be just friends. Just because they post pictures together that doesn't mean they are dating." Jimin tried to reason in an attempt to make his friend feel better.

"No No, I didn't misunderstand anything. She texted me. She said that she was no longer feeling resentful towards me and she thanked me for setting her free of our relationship cause apparently, the love of her life was waiting for her ."Taehyung proceeded to junk the whole drink down out of frustration while his two friends just gave him some painful gazes and simultaneously uttered "Ouch!"

"Yeah, and the worst part of it all is that the dude is a Ceo. Jung Hoseok is the name. She didn't just replace me, she found better."

"Gosh, I am pitying you for real right now. You must be feeling horrible ." Jimin sympathized with him as he left his hand to touch his shoulder.

"Please, what's there to cry over? She moved on so you move on too. It's not like you can't pull girls. You are no Ceo but you do have your Perks." Yoongi decided to break the pity party as he found it unnecessary and Taehyung looked at him for a moment.

"I know but I don't like anyone. Why pull random people? I had fallen comfortable with Ari."

" Stay alone and miserable then. I don't know what else to tell you." Yoongi gave up on his attempt and Jimin couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Someone I already know would work. Like, skip the boring talking stage and such. Say Jimin, would you be okay if I was to ask Y/ N for a chance? You are not together anymore, right?" A mischievous smile plastered at Taehyung's lips as he intentionally brought you up, to see Jimin's reaction but instead of hearing his reply, he felt a heavy hand handing on his shoulder from behind, making him look above his shoulder reflexively.

" If you want your life I wouldn't suggest that," Jungkook told him as he left his grip on him tighten a bit before he removed his hand completely.

"Ouch !"

" Jungkook, you decided to come. "Jimin smiled at him as he saw him then he urged him to have a seat.

"I didn't come to stay. I actually came to take you along Jimin. I can't leave Y/N alone at your apartment after what happened. I am sure she wouldn't be able to relax. " He broke the news in a confusing way but Jimin stood immediately up from his seat, with worry all over his face.

"Did something happen to Y/N? Where is she? Is she okay? " He bombarded Jungkook with questions as he already hurried to gather his belongings.

"She is in the car. I couldn't take her home without knowing that at least you would be there. I told her to stay over at mine but she didn't want to." Jungkook explained and Jimin took off to go find you, without questioning no more, even though he had plenty of question marks flooding in his head.

"Just what the hell happened ?" Taehyung asked in utter confusion but Jungkook just ignored him and proceeded to take out of his pocket Dae's cell phone that he had taken from her, and left it on the table before Yoongi.

"I don't know Dae's office number but please call her and inform her that Y/N is safe now. Give her back her phone too and tell her I apologize for leaving like that and snatching it from her." Jungkook offered casually his words then bowed his head a bit at Yoongi, meaning his apology before he took off, leaving them both looking utterly confused at him.

"What the heck just happened? Did you make any sense of this?" Taehyung asked and Yoongi just shrugged his shoulders before he took Dae's cell phone.

"Let's just ask Dae about it. Since she is involved, she must know." He reasoned and he did just that having Taehyung scoot over to his seat so he could hear whatever was to be discussed.

In the meantime, Jimin had reached Jungkook's vehicle and impatiently waited for him to unlock it for him so he could open the door of the front seat, as that was where you were, looking tired and with eyes barely open.

Once Jungkook arrived and unlocked the door from afar, Jimin hurriedly opened the door and kneeled down to have a better view of you.

"Y/N...what's wrong? Are you okay?" He questioned you with clear worry on his face as he hesitantly reached his hand towards your face, having noticed the redness under your eyes and the dried blood under your nostrils.

" I am fine. Just tired. Please let's just go home." Your voice that came out so weakly had him nod his head immediately, and then he carefully gave you a helping hand to get out of the car and escorted you to his that was parked not too far away.

After he secured you on the passenger seat, he reassured you that you would be on your way home right away before he closed the door and walked over to Jungkook who has been observing silently so far.

"Why is she hurt? What did you make her do that she looks so exhausted. ?" Jimin's words carried a wave of anger and his eyes some sense of accusation towards him for the last time he talked with you, you had told him that he was mad at you and he was making you suffer with unreasonable requests.

"She got kidnapped. " Jungkook broke the news abruptly to his brother and didn't give him any opening to comprehend and he was in a slight hurry for he had to go over to the police station and take care of Luke.

" That guy she owed money to, had been in our city for a while and I paid him off to stop bothering her. I paid off her dept too. I thought I had closed the matter but he kidnapped her. I can't tell you much but just know she is in a sensitive state, so be careful with your touches and-...Just take care of her till I make it back, please." Jungkook's request had Jimin speechless for a while and even though his mind had yet to comprehend everything, he nodded his head reassuringly at him before he spoke: "Just make sure that bastard gets what's fair. Worry about nothing else.Y/N will be safe with me. For the rest, we can talk after."

"Leave it to me ." Jungkook took his leave after that and entered his vehicle, soon hitting the road as in his head were travelling the last words you had exchanged with him in his car, after that kiss.

"I know you are expecting a precise placement as to what are we now. And I don't want to play with your feelings or hide from the truth...I do like you and even though I never expected you to actually feel the same, I do believe that your feelings are sincere. However, I do need some time before we ever get to be anything...Do you think...you could wait for me? ...for a while." You had told him with a worrisome gaze as you had been scared at that moment, that maybe your decision could ruin this, but you just didn't want to create a mess or make a mistake by rushing. He was still Sean's husband in papers. Their divorce hadn't been finalized and you weren't sure of Seon's feelings over this either.

"You can take as much time as you want. You can think it over as many times as you want. My love for you isn't going anywhere anytime soon." Jungkook had reassured you with a smile but now that he was thinking over his word again, he felt fear growing within him, for if you were to really think about it as much as you needed, there was a possibility that ultimately you may come to realize that maybe giving him a chance wasn't worth it and that sure loomed like a nightmare over his head as he kept driving into the night with intentions of ruining the life of the one that tried to harm you, without showing a split second of mercy.
