Chapter 1

One night's mistake

The freezing air that was blowing had wrapped her body in a veil of chills as she kept walking alone at the side of the road, with hopes of reaching home safe and sound. Her hands took hold of her long coat subtly and closed it a bit more, her breath appearing misty as her eyes kept looking around for she was feeling a bit alert over the reminder that she was a woman outside in the middle of the night.

Why had she even decided to walk at this late hour when she was aware that no public transportation was functional? Why had the need for some fresh air, overwhelmed her to the point of ignoring the cold and risking getting sick on the day before her wedding. She regretted her sudden decision that came from her need for some peace.

She basically shouldn't have even been alone on the streets at such an hour. She should have been at the bachelor party that her friends prepared for her instead and from which she sneaked away because although she appreciated their actions and was aware of their good intentions, Seon did not like parties at all.

And as such she had endured for as long as she could managing to stay around for a few hours until she reached her limit and without falling to anyone's notice, as soon as she found the opportunity, she sneaked out of the place they had rented out for her.

Swimming in her thoughts of her upcoming big day as she was, Seon continued walking on the sidewalk till some lights suddenly fell on her, illuminating the dark street and the figure of her body.

She shuddered when the unknown car instead of passing by her and continuing on its way, halted in place instead, at a distance slightly ahead of her, making her immediately turn the other way, to avoid whatever danger that could be luring her. Her steps speed up as fear crept inside her for she could not know what could happen and sure she didn't want to risk anything, especially at three o'clock at dawn as such was the time.

As she took a few quick steps away from the stopped car, however, a voice called her name, bringing her feet to an instant halt.

"Seon !! Seon isn't that you?!" The man's voice asked as he stepped out of his car and with a light jog decided to approach her.

Seon turned reluctantly to face him, an action that made the man's uncertain facial expression wash off his face, as he got reassured that he was not mistaken and that it was indeed his brother's girlfriend, who was walking alone in the darkness of the night.

"What are you doing on the streets alone at this hour, Seon? You know that it's dangerous to walk around alone, right?" Jimin portrayed his worry as he spoke, his eyes looking around instinctively just to reassure himself that she had not been in any potential danger. At this late hour, anything could have happened after all and if he had not accidentally crossed paths with her, on his way home, who knows how this could have ended.

"Em... I was just going home. The girls were still busy and I just got bored and left earlier." She replied as she gifted him an awkward smile, for she got slightly embarrassed admitting that she ditched her party.

These two are the same. They don't know how to have fun. Lame.

Jimin thought to himself since his brother had done the same thing as his future wife Seon. Jungkook had disappeared from the party out of nowhere and because of that, they had to break it off sooner than planned, because what is a bachelor party without the groom there?

He sure had found the conclusion of it a shame however for him and his best friend Taehyung had organized this party and had booked dancers and a special strip tease for the groom which he missed out on, unfortunately.

"Come on in. I'll take you home." He offered to her with a smile, then he turned around and started walking towards his car, with Seon following him, without making any objections, since the sooner she was to get home, the better. At least she was now safer and she will be able to sleep more and be fresher for her wedding day with Jungkook.

Her mind fell at ease once inside the car, ignorant over the fact that there was someone else that was struggling at that very moment because of the friend choices he had done which he sure seemed to regret momentarily as he kept pacing up and down in his apartment.

"I can't believe you did that ?!" Jungkook's tone rose unintentionally as he couldn't help but lose his cool upon hearing his friend Taehyung talking at the other side of the line.

"Listen here you! We are the ones who should be angry, not you. You left us without a single warning!!" Taehyung responded to him and sounded equally mad at his long known friend while the rest of the boys that were with him, tried to hold back their laughter, for he had put the call on speaker and everyone around him was listening to his phone call conversation with Jungkook.

"That's exactly why I left, you idiot!! Because I know you well and I knew what were you two planning!" His anxiety seemed to skyrocket as his pacing became faster, his free hand roaming around his hair and neck frequently and chaotically.

"Since you know us then why are you surprised ?! There was no way we would let you get away with this. Good luck! And Enjoy~" Taehyung chimed in a teasing tone allowing the chaos of laughter to erupt around him just before he proceeded to hang up, leaving Jungkook dumbfounded at the other side of the line.

I can't believe them !! What am I going to do now?! Are they trying to destroy my wedding before it gets the chance to happen yet or what?

Jungkook panicked for a bit as he had to come up with something to get rid of the dancer who they had paid to come over to his house and dance specifically for him.

However, the doorbell rang before he could even process the situation well, causing him to bathe suddenly in a cold sweat, and do absolutely nothing but stand there, listening to it ring again and again yet in the third with the fourth ringing of the bell, he found himself snapping out of it and took the courage to head for the door.

I will just pay her and tell her to leave. It's simple, why panic?

He concluded once he was standing behind the door then he proceeded to take a deep inhale and pull the door open only for his breath to pile up in his throat upon witnessing the spectacle that was laying before his eyes. One that was even more unexpected than the exotic dancer he was expecting.

"Hello, little one!" You greeted him, with a small smile and a light wave.

"Y/N? !! What are you doing here !!??!!" His voice cracked unintentionally as he spoke, betraying his shock at this unexpected development, as Jungkook surely wasn't expecting Seon's best friend to appear so suddenly on his doorstep at such an hour.

--- time skip---

"Come in." Seon opened her apartment door and made some way for Jimin to enter inside as he had earlier expressed his need to use the bathroom.

He walked in and headed straight to it, passing by the living room and heading down the corridor on the right side since he knew her apartment well for he had been there many times before, yet none he had been there with her alone.

Seon followed his figure with her gaze until he was out of sight then she proceeded to take off her coat and hung it on the hanger she had by the door, then tiredly she stepped further inside and took a seat on her couch, waiting for Jimin to return so she could accompany him till the door and see him off before she could finally crash on her bed and rest.

She crossed her legs and left her head rest on the cushions, her gaze getting lost in the white ceiling while her fingers started playing with her hair, out of habit. Her thoughts once again included the tomorrow that was about to come and her big day. A day that once upon a time she couldn't even imagine yet now she was a step away from living it.

Jimin didn't take long to exit the bathroom, without having managed to vomit even though he sure was feeling like it and he blamed the drinks he had at the bachelor party for that. He wasn't wasted or anything but those few drinks he had, sure had upset his stomach. He stepped slowly down the corridor and back to the living room but halted as soon as he noticed Seon, sitting on the couch, lost in her world.

His eyes travelled on her body, observing the posture of her figure and her legs, which for some reason seemed very attractive to him and made him bite his lower lip, admiring the spectacle. Little forbidden glimpses of her that it wasn't the first time he had taken.

He approached her slowly, visible in his eyes, the flame that he has been hiding for so long and which lights up every time he sees her and burns his heart and soul, for endless nights. A flame that he had managed to disguise so well for all these years.

"What are you thinking about?" He questioned her as he sat next to her on the couch, taking her out of her train of thought.

"Ah! Nothing. I was thinking about the wedding tomorrow!" She answered carelessly then silence followed her words, for he had tried all night to erase from his mind that fact to not say that word completely.

"Are you... Having second thoughts?" Jimin uttered, inwardly already being aware of her answer, since Seon and his brother Jungkook had been nothing but madly in love with each other.

"No no!! Of course not. God forbids!" Seon replied and started laughing as such a possibility seemed very funny and absurd to her.

"There is no one better than Jungkook. I would be crazy to think otherwise." She added on her words, making Jimin smile at her, although if someone was to look at his hands, -which were squeezing each other from the irritation caused by her words- they would understand how fake that smile of his was.

"Is he so good in bed?" She took his words as an attempt to tease her for he sure had displayed such manners often towards her yet she still found herself blushing slightly out of embarrassment.

"That's not-"

"No matter how good he is, I guarantee, I can be much better." Jimin cut her sentence abruptly, having lost his self-control momentarily and along with it he also lost his playful facial expression and friendly smile.

"Hahahaha ~ Wow! You are such a good actor. I almost thought you were serious for a moment." Seon burst out laughing, having concluded that he was joking for he had a habit of joking with her. This one-joke sure was a bit tasteless to her however she didn't want to misunderstand him in any way.

Jimin smiled for a while as she laughed thinking that it may be better if he just pretended one more time that he was just joking, but her laughter kept ticking him off and he found himself feeling like a volcano that didn't take long to burst out, grabbing her and bringing her to a kiss.

Seon's eyes widened at the touch of their lips and as she opened her mouth, in an attempt to speak, he seized the opportunity and deepened the kiss, literally taking her breath away.

He broke the hot kiss after a bit, causing both of them to breathe heavily as they were in desperate need of some oxygen and they were in need to calm down their rising hormones too but such a thing proved difficult to happen as the sound of her breathing made Jimin fall deeper under the claws of his desire for her.

He, with quick movements, took off his cardigan and threw it on the floor, she just followed his actions with her eyes, before she felt his hands on her shoulders and she allowed him to push her down on the couch and place himself on top of her, quickly conquering her lips again, in hopes that Seon wouldn't have an opportunity to think more clearly about her actions.

Without realizing it, she had found herself reciprocating his kisses, as her hands became entangled between his silver hair and her body lit up in flames of desire for his touches.

With short breaths, sweaty bodies and rising temperatures, it made sense for both of them to forget about what tomorrow will bring and what the future awaits them, after this momentary mistake that the two of them were committing, right that instant.
