I sighed standing at the drinks feeling bored and also disappointed that I can't spend this valentine's day with my wife.

I planned so much to surprise her at the company party but had to cancel everything because the party got Preponed.

I know this is not Usha's mistake but I had to scold her as already a few board members who want to fight for the power in the company is trying to hint at every meeting on how it is not good to have the wife of the rival company's CEO as my secretary.

What do they know about how efficient she is? And that compliment is not just because she is my friend.

I started talking to the guests as this is not just a casual party but this is to show the progress of my company and I found Usha running here and there in a hurry.

Why is she hurrying like that? Everything is going fine and even if something goes wrong, then it can be corrected and everything need not be perfect to not leave a chance for a single error.

She already tired herself to prepone this and now I am worried she will fall sick and Abhay will kill me.

Then I found her suddenly walking out of the hall and before I could call her, another guest called me over.

After some time when I was about to take a glass from the table, someone passed it to me saying, "I have been staring at you all night. Want to take this party somewhere else?"

I smiled hearing those words and turned to see my wife smiling at me. I asked her how it was possible to come here and she said it is because of Usha.

I looked around saying, "Let me thank her."

"Wait! I am finally here and instead of spending time with me, you want to search for your secretary?" She asked frowning and I stared at her in silence.

Does she really think I don't know her at all? This kind of behavior is definitely when she is hiding something from me.

And as I suddenly couldn't find the person who was running here and there, I realized they both are involved in this.

I nodded before staying with her deciding to let it be for now. I will have a word with her tomorrow for sure.

When I was looking around to call for a waiter as her glass needs to be filled, I found a man looking around frantically as if searching for someone.

I continued to stare at him frowning and he found me staring at him which caused him to pause.

He tried to act casual but I already realized who is it and walked towards him with my wife following me.

"Abhay? What are you doing here?" I asked and he sighed removing his mask.

"I want to meet Usha. Where is she?" He asked and I found it funny that she went there while he came here.

I didn't say anything and my dear wife immediately replied to his question in a hurry to confirm my suspicion.

"She must be busy with some work. Go and search for her." She replied in an assured tone.

"She really didn't leave the party? Why is her phone switched off?" Abha asked frowning at her and I stayed silent to enjoy her flustered face.

"Why would I lie? Have you ever seen me lying? And why are you so concerned? She made all the arrangements and even helped me when I asked her to book tickets for me somehow as I couldn't find any vacant ones. How can you be mad at her? Let her enjoy the party." She scolded Abhay and asked me to fill her glass as I didn't get to call the waiter.

I nodded taking her glass away realizing she would faint with nerves if I don't leave now and walked towards the table.

When I filled up her glass, I found her whispering to him while I remember on how my surprise to her is ruined because of this man.

So, I walked towards them as he was about to leave and said, "Where are you going without meeting Usha? She must be here only if you came here. I need to talk to her about a client who has a problem with the recent project. Let's wait for her."

For some time he stayed with us while throwing daggers at me while I calmly smiled at him and enjoyed his torture.

Suddenly, I felt my wife placing her hand on my chest saying, "Are we not going to dance?"

I want to laugh and say, she is really bad at acting but I nodded at her before walking towards the dance floor thinking this torture is enough for him.

When I found him rushing out of the hall, I couldn't help but chuckle making her frown and she found whom I am staring at.

She froze for a second and glared at me asking, "You already know that she is not here?"

"Of course! Do you really think I don't know you?" I asked back and she tried to walk away but I pulled her back into my arms smiling at her angry face.

"Come on! This is our first valentine after we got married. Do you want to stay mad at me on this day? We already missed so many hours together and now you want to still stay away from me?" I asked whispering in her ear.

"What's so good in spending a romantic day with your staff and business people surrounding us?" she grumbled but didn't try to walk away.

"Let's go!" I said dragging her away from the dance floor and walked out of the hall.

"Is it fine to leave? So many are looking at us right now." She mumbled with a shocked tone.

"Why shouldn't I enjoy perks being a CEO? Anyway, without me, the staff will enjoy the party better." Saying that I clicked the elevator button.

"Where are we going?" she asked frowning at me as without leaving the company building, I am right now standing near the elevator.

"You planned a surprise for me in your office room?" She asked after I pressed the elevator button for my floor.

I didn't say anything which completely frustrated her and stayed silent until we reached my cabin.

She entered the room with anticipating eyes but when she found nothing special in the room, her eyes dimmed and she frowning still trying to look around the room.

I closed the door and locked it while leaning on the door and stared at her as she didn't give up thinking I hid something.

After a few minutes, she finally gave up and turned to stare at me with a glare covering her face.

"Let's go downstairs!" saying that she walked towards me and moved her hand to open the door.

She got startled when I circled my hands around her waist and pulled her completely close to my body.

"What are you doing?" she asked still frowning at me.

"I planned for a surprise but because I thought you will not be coming to attend the party, I had to cancel it. And that is the reason why I tortured Abhay as he ruined my surprise." I explained and she calmed down but still moved to leave the room.

"And your surprise is here." I whispered and she frowned before looking up to stare at me.

I smiled before dipping my head to kiss her and she kissed back while moving her hands to hold my collar.

When I paused for a second, she whispered asking, "This is a surprise? Isn't this just a routine? I think you don't know the meaning of a surprise, husband."

I laughed before pushing her more into the room, and made her lay on the couch and started removing my tie and the coat.

"Then how about this? Is this a routine?" I asked laying down on her to kiss her again and we both tugged our clothes and had our own party away from the people.

"Is it really fine?" She asked as I removed her dress completely and kissed on her stomach.

"Of course! Don't worry! I don't have any kind of CCTV cameras here." I promised but she shook her head at my words.

"Are you feeling uncomfortable with this? We can leave right now." I added pulling her dress up and she put her hands on mine stopping my action.

I frowned before staring at her in confusion while she smirked at me, and moved her hands to circle my neck and pulled me closer to her face.

"I was asking whether it will be fine for you to concentrate on your work from tomorrow after doing this. What if you keep on remembering these events and get affected? That will be a problem to the company, right?" I stared at her in shock after hearing those words and laughed as she continued to look smug.

"That is really a problem now that you said those words. What should I do when I get affected from tomorrow?" I asked trailing my lips over her face.

"Should I call you to my office whenever I get affected and repeat the actions?" she opened her mouth in shock hearing those words.

"Hmm? That will be a good solution, right? We can also try on the table as we can't right now because it is not clean. Okay? How is the solution?" I continued to tease her and she pushed me away while I started laughing.

"Shut up!" saying that she pressed her lips to mine and pulled me closer to her completely.

"I love you!" I whispered smiling at her and stared at her as she was lying down over me.

"Aren't you glad that I stalked you?" she asked smiling at me and I rolled my eyes hearing that.

"That is even called stalking? Didn't I showed you how it is actually done?" I pointed out.

"Oh please! Accept that you are whipped for me. Even I am getting tired of seeing blue color everywhere even though it is my favorite but you try to include it everywhere. Don't think I didn't realize only we both were wearing blue color masks." She pointed out.

"Fine! I am whipped for you and I never shied away from accepting that." I whispered hugging her tightly and she smiled whispering her love for me.
