My wolf becomes restless with the current event. He blames me for losing his only mate and self-hate because could not prevent me from mated with Kayla. He snarls every time I tried to reason with him.

I hate when he turn as a short temper ass wolf. Today, after I doze off he has overtaken my body, running around town. Cedric step into the big toys shop. He is scanning every toy in the shop until his focus on big wolf plush toy. He takes it and walks to cashier. The cashier tries to flirt with him.

"Please count quickly, slut. My son is waiting me." He said with full venom. The girl's face become redder as ripped tomato.

Cedric walks out with happy mood, he ties the wolf toy in my back with stretching rope, shift to big massive black wolf. He runs in full gear to reach our mate's house. We know where our mate's house after stalked him two days ago.

Honestly, seeing your mate intimated with someone else was so painful to endure. Knowing his happy make me feel so withdrawn from claiming him again. I could barely rein Cedric anger and possessive.

We reach at his home after fifteen minutes, hiding in thick bush and observed the house carefully. The scene we saw really breaks our heart, our mate making out at the doorstep. They hungrily claim each other lips until out of breathes. Cedric whimpers slowly.

Rylan sends his husband till he gone from view. Ours focus back to our mate who leaning on the door. Suddenly, he snaps to our direction. Ours heart beating nervously seeing him narrow his beautiful eyes. He scans the bush carefully and stops direct to our spot.

I see his body shaking with a wary look. The shaky stop when a little boy tugs the hem of his shirt. The boy giggles when looking in our direction. Seem to wipe off his father worries. He smiles genuine when point in my direction.

"The kid ensures Rylan we mean no harm. The kid was born with natural tracker and great intuition." Cedric puffs his chest proudly.

I feel indescribable feeling scanning the boy figure through the Cedric's eyes. It'll be a great blesses if the boy was really mine. Rylan takes his boy in his chest, rushing back into the house. It's hurt because this is the second times he afraid with my wolf presence.

I watch him shut down every entrance of his house. Cedric whimper and scan around his house before getting close to it. We could hear the frantic footstep inside the house and door slamming. Maybe from bedroom. Yeah, they were hiding in the bedroom, but it's still not safe if the real rogue whom coming here instead me.

What the hell his husband thinking? Leaving he and his son alone in human remote area. They should've put under pack protection. Damn It! In other word, he has danger my mate's life too.

"Terrance, please select the trusted warrior to protect my mate." Cedric mind link the Beta.

"Alright, Alpha." He said happily.

We observed the house carefully before dash to his doorstep. His house was far from human sight. I shift, press the doorbell before shift back to wolf form. I hear the small footstep running down the stairs. A smiles tug in my wolf face.

Cedric was running in circles when we spot the boy hugs the big wolf plush. He is pouting in cute ways when his father scolding him. However, I could assume that his father can't fight his boy puppy eyes. The boy has a big smile decorate his face before we hear a loud and clear thank you.

We howl as for replying. The tears streak down our face without we realize. The kid really was unlikely any kid I ever met. After fifteen minutes, we back to our territory. Cedric gives me the control again after he felt content with today event.

"Welcome back, Ivan." Terrance gives me a goofy smile.

"You know today Cedric is taking full control and dash out to my mate's house. Then we give his boy the wolf plush. God, I feel in blissful when the boy appreciate the gift and thank me." I tell him.

"You're blushing like a teenager in first love." Terrance chuckles.

"It just the kid gives me a different feeling than any other kid. I can't describe the feeling very well." I said excitedly.

"I think I can understand what you mean, buddy. It was same as what I have for my daughter." Terrance grinned.

"Gosh, I can't wait the day when my mate and the boy in my arms. I fucking love them." I said sadly.

"Yeah, yeah, buddy. For now, you should go to take a bath. You're really stinky right now." I growl playfully before walking to my penthouse suite.

After thirty minutes, I have undress in new changing clothes. When the last time do have I feel this content? I can't wipe off the smiling face on the boy face. Beeps from cell phone wake me up from dreamland.

Sorry for the late replied, Alpha. My schedule was clear for today and we can meet anytime, anywhere. - I narrow my eyes read the text message. Finally, he got a ball to meet me.

Meet me at no-man land outside Willow Shadow Pack on five p.m. – I press the send.

I don't care if my action is underhanded. I need my mate back, the Luna for my pack. My parents have approve him, same goes to my Beta. I am quickly wearing the boot shoes, running down the stair like a little kid.

"Where are you going, Ivan?" Terrance shouts from the hallway.

"Have treaty meeting." I replied.

"I'm going with you. Nobody can predict when your temper decides to run wild." Terrance said with a knowing look. I know I need him to check on me, I nod.

Driving into the meeting place was fills with Terrance humming the song from the Radio. He always behaves like that when he feel nervous. We arrive at the said place ten minutes from appointed time. Second later, a black Chevy park beside me.

"Excuse for my lateness. There is an accident in third junction." He smiles friendly.

"It's fine, by the way I, Ivan Kendall." I shake a hand with him.

"I know, I, Alfred Night. So, what are you wanted from me." He asks curiously.

"Well, it's about your husband?" His body becomes rigid.

"What about him? I think we were living in natural zone." He said protectively.

"He is my mate, true mate. So, I want him back." I said flat on his face.

"What? No, he is my husband." He growls ferociously.

"Mate is mate, Mr. Night. No matter how you are in deniable state, he is mine since he born." I use the hard tone.

"No! Wait, how long you have known he is yours?" He had a puzzled look.

"Since five years ago." I said hesitantly.

"So, why not you claim him?" He pauses and then his eyes widened as if something suddenly hit his mind.

"Hmm, there was a complicated matter at that time." I lie again.

"Your excuse makes me want to laugh, big Alpha. The truth was you who rejected him. Simply because he was male and you were dating a top model at that time. You only used him as a sex slave. You've not right to claim him back. Aren't you already married too?" He became furious.

"In process of divorce, you're also hadn't any right to hinder me from get him back. Your marriage only in paper to covered up human eyes." I taunted him.

"At least I loved him for being who is he. Ours loved was pure even without any mated pull." He deliberately rubs salt on my wound.

Both my hand was shaky under his every insult. He wasn't wrong but come on everyone will make at least one mistake in their life. We weren't saint that perfect from every aspect. I knew my own mistake and try to atone it. The silence covers our space.

"One more thing, Ry isn't a toy or thing. He is a human that has every right to determine how his life going on and who he want to be together. Not you and not I can decide it. If his choice is me than no matter who you're I'll defend our loved until my last breath." He turns around to leave us.

"Who is important? Your pack or Rylan? If you give Rylan to me, I'll help you against the rogues. We will become allies and I put your pack under my protection." I could see his eyes have a conflict emotion.

As a fellow alpha, we know the pack is ours priority no matter how dread the situation we face. Moreover, Rylan and he wasn't a real mate, so of course he will choose his pack over his husband. There also rumors saying that their pack was desperately send an aid letter to pack surround them.

"No! I'll never leave Rylan, he is my life and husband. I feel ashamed for having the same an alphas blood like you who treat other like nothing. If you really wanted to help us, you never make that demand. You really a prick!" He spat in hatred.

I order you to stay still on your feet - I mind link Terrance. His face pale and worry, but he can't against my order.

His word makes me see a red. Cedric and I can't tolerate his rude anymore. I shift to my big wolf and tackle him. He kicks my hind leg, making me lose balance. He also have transformed to his timber wolf.

We have circled and snarled each other, waiting an opportunity to attack. The growls shook the leaf and the tiny grass. The small animal scurried away for their dear life. I also detect he was lost to his wolf too.

I make first attack and bite his hind legs, he kicks me using other leg, aiming to bite my neck. Before, he can catch my neck, I kick his stomach result him to fly over a few meters. I use the opportunity to aiming his neck but stray off from target. I bite his snouts and claw his face.

He growls in pain on the ground. I've lost my mind when my blood calling his blood. I want to end the obstacle life. I hate when their intimated scene replay in my mind. This insolent bastard touched my mate. I bite his jugular, I feel triumphant when seeing his eyes widen.

Then, I feel my body flew a few meters before I could sink my canine into that bastard's throat. I scan around and see Terrance circle Alfred. He already change to human back with red fluid covered his face and a claw wounded around his torso.

Why you defy my order? - I snarl to my beta.

You could've killed him, Ivan. Have you lost your damn mind? - Terrance curses me.

That was a punishment because he touched what wasn't meant for him. – I still said defiantly.

Violent not solve any problem, Ivan. It only drifts you more from your mate. He will hate you for killing his husband. – Terrance word holds the truth. Rylan will hate me all my life if I harm his beloved.

Then what should I do? I need my mate back. – I growl in angry.

Terrance licks the wounded Alfred. He wriggles before regain his consciousness back. I could see a pure hate in his eyes. I spit out the blood in his mouth, standing out and wobble walking to his car. I shift back to my human form, dress up in clothes Terrance shove into me.

"Alpha, I'm sorry for my alpha uncalled attitude." Terrance apologizes on my behalf.

"You no need to bow your head on behalf of that rude alpha. He has his own mouth to speak out just like how he rejected his mate." Alfred has already dressed up, the blood soaks his collar and some part of his shirt.

He starts the car and leaving us without a second glance. He is not someone who gives up his beloved one over pack issue. He was determined to keep both in his control. I punch the nearest tree to vent my anger. My plan was already backfired

"Let's go, Alpha, You need to run now." Terrance gets into the driver seat.

"Yeah, I need a long, long run." I said when getting into the passenger seat. I need to flush out all the negative feeling out of the system. I need to think rationally because the fight was clearly my fault.

I point out two sensitive issues to someone who value his important matters above himself. His words hit me badly because it was truth. It was all my fault for letting him go, choosing the wrong person and now treat the one who giving his happiness.

Just like Alfred said, I have lost the right since long ago, since the night I rejected him without second thought. He tears not melt the rejection I made that night. I'm too blind to judge a fake and a real gem. I got my lesson but it was late to amend everything.

Every step I take just accumulates more sin that I could shoulder. How long I must staying in this dark side. How long I'll alone? I'm tired, I really tired to face everything. My mate has already become someone else possession. How I want to continue my life when knowing I can't get him.

"Cry all your heart, Ivan. Today failure not marked as you fail forever. Everything happens for reason." Terrance put a towel to cover my tears stain face.

"Everything was too late. He never is mine again." I said.

"We don't know what will happen in the future." He pats my shoulder.

"This is a bitch karma caused I steal someone else mate too." I can't keep the fact inside me anymore. I need to confide with someone.

"Who?" He still drives carefully.

"Your brother.... Kayla was your brother's mate. He hated me to the core." I turn my sight over the window, eyeing the thick greenery as if calling my nature side out.

"What? When you meet him?" He stops the car on sideways.

"When I was attending alphas meeting at Kai's pack ground. He was there as a Beta for Kai's mate, married to mateless she-wolf. . Kayla runaway was related to this fact too."

"So, she knows that my brother was her mate?" Terrance grips the steering.

"Apparently, yes."

"Fucking bitch! How dare she lie to everyone when my brother was desperately looking his fate one? He cried and depressed when he searching were failed." The burning angry was radiating from his body. He has very close relation with his brother.

"Yeah, your brother makes a huge bitch slapped when he revealed it. I was the worst alpha, stealing my beta's mate." That day the loving big bother he always showed had already lost in his deep hatred.

"Why he was so cowardly to claim his mate?" His knuckles had become white.

"My father has banished him from pack ground after discovering they had a sex. Kayla said Joe was forced her." I feel ashamed to face him.

"So, what about Ernest? I mean him coul..." he can't finish the sentence.

"No matter what his origin he is mine. And, you also his godfather too, so, I hope you can keep the secret until the grave." I smile faintly.

He starts the car again and we drive in silence again. I don't know what he was thinking right now. For one I betrayed his trust, make his lost his dearest brother in process. The thing will become different if I never taking a playboy life and reject him. Joe will get to be together with his mate. Ernest will get a perfect family ever.

And, I feel like a means person, the guilty for leashed my temper on Alfred was so uncalled. He just states the truth, the truth that so damn hard for me to swallow. I should not have harmed him because I could clearly see how much he loved my mate.

My jealous and furious side had taken a great damaged by what have he point out. The result was we fight like stupid people. If Terrance was not stopping me, surely I'll make a big mistake. A mistake I couldn't atone with my remaining life.
