When I came back into her life,

She said, "It's been a while."

"Yeah, but you missed me," I replied.

She smiled. "I always liked your style."

My fingers found their way through her hair

And she let me in through her front door.

We crept up the stairs

And settled into bed like before.

Our clothes fell into piles on the floor

And we crashed into each other

Letting passion burn fire inside our cores.

Somehow the night slipped away

And all I wanted was more.

She said, "Will you stay?"

Just like the time before.

I woke at her side

Still there, but surprised.

I stretched and yawned.

Then she opened her eyes.

We kissed slow and sweet,

I sighed, long and deep.
