calm, still waters

A Valentine's Day poem.

I will ride the high, until the exhaustion hits

I'll tear myself apart inside

Like an addict, I crave the thrill. 

Don't you see?

I'm waiting for you to hit me

I trust you, but you're too good to be true

How can you look at me and think everything you see is real

Don't you know, I lie to everyone, including you?

I'll kneel at your feet

It takes one word to drop me

but it takes much more to feel like you're truly caught me.

I love you,

like the moon loves the stars

and the sea loves Her song

I'll love you 'til forever and more

Will you love me, like an eternity on the moon would be?
