Lewis was busy, sitting in his favourite fishing spot with his rod out at sea, waiting for a fish to come by and spot the bait.

He had been there for almost one hour, and he had so far caught nothing. He checked his watch. He promised he'd meet Cleo at the Marine Park just before lunch time, for that night, it was a full moon.

Sirena, Nixie and the rest of the real mermaids were once afraid of the power of the full moon (when they were little hatchlings) but they eventually grew up to love the moon and extract it's power.

But for Cleo, Emma, Rikki, Bella and Evie, it was another story.

When a human who has transformed into a mermaid looks at the full moon, all kinds of crazy things happen, and the next morning, the person who gets affected wakes up and remembers nothing.

Lewis helped Cleo and her friends seal up all the windows and doors in their homes, but one of them usually gets affected, one way or another. Sometimes, all the girls have been affected together!!

Lewis began packing up his fishing gear, when he heard the wiz of his fishing rod. He looked at it, to find he had a bite.

Grinning, Lewis grabbed his rod and began wheeling his catch in. But the fish seemed to be too strong for him, and no matter how hard Lewis tried, the fish didn't want to be brought onto land.

"Boo!!" Suddenly Will's head popped up from under the water, and Lewis gave a massive yell, dropped his fishing rod and jumped backwards.

Will laughed and removed his goggles. "It's just me."

"Will! Have you been scaring all the fish away?" Lewis asked, continuing to pack up his fishing equipment.

"No," Will laughed. "There are no fish in this area today!"

"Why?" Lewis asked, reeling his fishing rod in.

Will shrugged. "You're the scientist, not me."

Lewis picked up all guys equipment. "I'm going to meet Cleo," Lewis told Will.

"Are you helping her out with the full moon tonight?" Will asked, swimming over to Lewis.

"Yeah, Rikki's letting everyone stay in the café."

"And those other mermaids? Bella told me about them yesterday... Sirena, Lyla, Ondina and the others?" Will asked.

"And Zac," Lewis pointed at Will with his fishing rod.

Will rolled his eyes. "And Zac," he grinned. "Are they coming too?"

"Yep, and if you aren't too busy you can come too. I'm sleeping at the café as well," Lewis replied.

"Lewis, look at you being surrounded by all those girls," Will laughed.

Lewis grinned. "I can't wait!!" He laughed. "I just hope the full moon doesn't affect anyone tonight. I'll have help from Mimmi, Zac and the rest of them lot, but we'll have to make sure one of us is by Emma, Cleo, Rikki and Bella at all times..."

"I'll see if I can come," Will nodded. "I think Sophie's going to her friends house tonight, anyway."

Lewis checked his watch. "I have to go meet Cleo. I'll see you at the café at around five?"

Will nodded. "Definitely."

Lewis made his way to the Marine Park where he met Cleo, who had just finished her shift for the morning. She had asked if she could take the afternoon off, and Laurie said she could. Cleo and Lewis ate their lunch together before going to the café.

When they got there all the tables had been pushed the sides of the room, leaving a big gap on the floor for their sleeping bags.

The café was empty apart from Zane, who was counting a handful of money behind the counter.

"Where's Rikki?" Cleo asked him.

Zane shrugged. "I think she went swimming with Nikki to Mako."

"Nixie," Cleo corrected him.

Zane shrugged again. "Whatever."

"Why has she gone swimming?" Cleo asked. "It's the full moon tonight, we should be getting ready."

"The full moon isn't rising for -" Lewis consulted his watch. "- six hours at least."

"Right," Zane put the money into his pocket and closed the till shut. "There are drinks in the freezer, and there's enough fruit for you to make juices... There are DVDs and a small TV in the office if you need it..." Zane pointed to his office. "Rikki should have her keys, and I've got mine in case you need anything. Make sure all the doors are locked, all the windows are shut and all the curtains are drawn. There are some empty boxes in the cool room if you want to boarder shut the windows."

"Thanks Zane," Cleo nodded. She still couldn't believe that Zane was willing to help them, even after he and Rikki broke up.

"I'll go get our sleeping bags," Lewis patted Cleo on the back before jogging out of the café.

Just then Sirena, Evie and Zac entered the room. Everyone was carrying sleeping bags. Zac and his friends had loaned most of the sleeping bags, and Emma was lending them her parent's and Elliot's.

"Hi Cleo," Sirena smiled.

"Hi guys," Cleo smiled back.

"Are you ready for tonight?" Sirena asked. "You must be nervous."

"It's a full moon, one of us is going to get affected, no matter how hard we try to avoid it."

"Then we had better make sure we're ready," Zac said, taking Evie's sleeping back and dropping them both onto the floor. "Shall we start preparing?"

"I'll leave you guys to it then," Zane said, leaving the café.

"Me and the other mermaids don't get affected by the full moon," Sirena told Cleo as Zac and Evie went to the back room to get the cardboard. "We once taught Evie how to control the power of the moon too, so if she gets affected it won't be too bad."

"What about Zac?" Cleo asked.

"Zac used to get affected. He has a connection to Mako Island that none of us have, because of him being a merman, he has a connection to the Merman Chamber," Sirena replied.

"So will he get affected tonight?" Cleo asked.

"He shouldn't do..." Sirena paused. "But...now the Chamber is being reopened and activated..."

Just then Zac and Evie came back, each carrying three boxes of cardboard.

"Let's get to work," Evie smiled.

There were lots of small windows all around the walls, so lots of cardboard was needed. Lyla, Mimmi, Bella and Ondina came to help a few minutes later, and finally Emma, Nixie and Rikki entered the café. Everyone brought the their sleeping bags, and they were piled in the middle of the room. Mimmi had also brought the potions Rita had given her.

When all the windows were locked and boarded up Rikki and Lyla went to wheel the TV into the room, Sirena followed them to get the DVDs, Emma and Bella began to make some juices, and Nixie, Ondina and Mimmi went over to the small stage, where all the instruments were covered up with big cloths.

Nixie pulled the sheet off the drum kit and grinned. "Awesome," Nixie sat down and grabbed the drumsticks.

"Nixie..." Ondina warned.

"What!?" Nixie asked. Then she smashed the drumsticks onto the drums and symbols as loud as she could.

Everyone had to cover their ears, and Sirena dropped the stack of DVDs she was carrying.

"Whoaaaa!!!!" Lewis yelled, dropping the sleeping bags.

"What?" Nixie asked. "I'm a natural, if you ask me."

"Yeah, well we didn't ask you," Lewis replied, a slight smile on his face.

"Lewis," Rikki sighed. "You finally come, after all the work is done?"

"Sorry," Lewis held up hands to surrender.

"What kind of juice does everyone want?" Emma asked.

Everyone made a choice of juice, and Emma and Bella began to make them.

Zac pulled the white sheet off the guitar and grinned. He pulled up a chair, picked it up and strummed a chord.

"Nixie, pass me the drumsticks," Lewis went over to the drum kit. He showed Nixie a simple beat on the drums that she could easily mimic.

"What's that song that you were singing this morning" Zac asked Sirena. "Something about the sea, and the moon?"

"Across The Sea," Sirena replied. It was a song that Aquata had taught her, and they sung it together every morning before the full moon. But that morning, Sirena had sung it by herself.

"Yeah, how did that song go?" Zac asked.

Sirena rook a breath and began to sing:

"Though I'm far away, across the sea,
This moon, keeps haunting me.
As I spread my wings, and soar above,
It's you, you're guiding me.

And the morning sun, still shines on me,
I feel your power, too.
And the passing tides, in paradise,
As we stand, beneath his moon."

"...Whoa," Rikki said.

"Sirena, you're amazing at singing! " Cleo commented.

Sirena smiled. "Thanks."

"Yeah, she sings in the café where we live," Evie said.

"Really?" Cleo asked, impressed.

"Bella sings here, you two should try a duet," Emma said.

"Yeah, let's try it," Sirena agreed.

Bella and Sirena sung Across The Sea together, Lewis played the drums, Zac played the guitar, and Lyla played the keyboard (after Zac had shown her which chords and notes to play.)

"We can cancel Nate's band and hire you guys!" Rikki laughed, applauding them.

"That was impressive," Ondina nodded.

"Well, we don't know how long we're going to be here," Mimmi called, picking up one of the potions and examining it. "Why don't you?"

"What do you say, Sirena?" Bella asked. "Do you want to sing with me?"

"I'd love too!" Sirena replied.

Lewis handed Nixie the drumsticks and went over to Mimmi. "What are you doing?" He asked, sitting next to her.

"These are magic mermaids potions," Mimmi told him.

"What do they do?" Emma asked, sitting with them.

"All sorts."

"Okay!" Rikki yelled, pushing the TV in front of everyone's sleeping bags. She grabbed the remote control. "Who's up for a movie?"

"I am" Lyla said at once.

"Why don't some of us go to Mako?" Cleo asked. "Some of us stay her, and others go to Mako to find Erik."

"It's too dangerous," Evie said.

"Not when we still don't know how we are definitely going to defeat Erik," Ondina said.

"Sorry, Cleo," Mimmi shrugged.

Everyone got into their sleeping bags, except Mimmi and Lewis, who were still looking at the potions.

"Horror film, or comedy first?" Rikki asked.

"Do we have to watch a horror film at all?" Cleo asked.

"Of course we do," Rikki rolled her eyes. "Duh!"

"Should we try comedy?" Evie suggested.

"Yeah, maybe we can watch the horror film when Cleo's gone to sleep?" Mimmi suggested.

"What's a horror film?" Sirena asked, but no one answered her question.

"Don't we have a romantic comedy?" Bella asked.

"Hey, I'm not watching a love film," Zac said.

"Me neither," Lewis agreed with Zac.

"Do you have anything with fast cars or machine guns?" Zac asked.

Everyone finally settled in a comedy film, and then they'd move on to a horror film, and then they'd finally watch a romance film.

Lewis and Mimmi eventually got into their sleeping bags.

Rikki started the movie and jumped into her sleeping bag after turning off all the lights.

"This is going to be good," she grinned.
