All seven of them walked along the wide cobbled streets of Florence, they were all, in their own ways, quite happy.
"It's nice having the gang back together." Noted Ryan as they appeared to walk in a horizontal line across the quiet streets in the late afternoon.
"Indeed." Replied Martin, who had without even thinking interlinked his arm with Zoe's. He knew that the band wanted more from him, and that they were aware of his overriding obsession for Zoë.
"So Cloda, who's the lucky fella?" He asked out loud,
"He's not lucky yet!" She tossed, blushing,
"Or unlucky yet!" Teased Ryan,
"Shut up you! Anyone would be blessed to have such a queen!" Defended Zoe, laughing at the bands continuous humour.
"His name is Charlie." Said Lucy,
"Charlie." Repeated Martin, "would that be casual for Charles?"
"No because his parents aren't posh doofs like yours." Replied Cloda.
"He's perfect." Martin responded, laughing at her defensive nature towards her 'good friend'.

They arrived back to the van and Martin climbed in the driver's seat, with Zoe in the passenger seat.
"How are your stitches?" Asked Zoë,
"Beautiful." Martin replied with a sarcastic grin.
"Still hurt?" She questioned,
"Well considering I'm still on an overdose I guess it probably should hurt, but I'm alright at the moment." He told her as she leaned back in her seat wrapping her large black coat around herself.
"Oh Marty, I worry about you." She sighed, pulling down the passenger mirror and looking at herself. "Jesus I look awful!"
The rest of the band and Martin gave a rather shocked laugh at her remark,
"Zoe I assure you that you look very far from awful!" Said Martin,
"I'm still in my funeral attire! And my mascara's all the way down my cheeks." She complained, laughing as she ran her fingers under her eyes before taking off her long back coat and the jumper she had worn over her dress.
Martin felt overwhelmed by how gorgeous the black dress looked on her. It was slightly off the shoulder, with long sleeves, very plain and neat and she wore a beautiful pearl necklace.
"Oh my bloody god." He breathed before looking away from her and turning on the engine. Zoe bit her lip and pushed the mirror back up, leaning her head against Martin's shoulder,
"Where are we going?" She asked him as he tilted his head towards her.
"Well we can try to get to Venice," Suggested Martin, "I'll drive in that direction for a couple hours anyway."
Zoe aimed to kiss his cheek, but Martin turned his head and his lips met hers.
"It was only a matter of time." Laughed Ryan as Martin ran one hand through her hair while he let his lips slide away from hers and opened up his eyes again.
"Sorry about that." Said Martin, smiling at Zoe who was still leaning right beside him with her mouth opened slightly into the shape of a smile.
"Eh- Venice, then?" Martin began again, chuckling awkwardly as he turned on the engine.
"Yes please." Zoë Replied, sitting up straight in her seat and looking ahead, smirking as the others giggled at them.
"Lovely weather innit?" Martin began, his face flushed as he looked outside the window and tried to set off before the van stalled forewords causing him to immediately pull up the handbrake and break into a fit of laughter, leaning back against his seat.
"You're in third gear you twat!" Giggled Zoë, patting Martin's shoulder as he opened a window to try and cool himself down.
"I've forgotten how to drive a bloody car!" Laughed Martin,
"He's all flustered 'cause you kissed him!" Chuckled Ollie,
"It was only supposed to be a peck on the cheek!" Zoë justified while Martin wiped the sweat from his brow and tried starting the car.
"Make sure you're in 1st gear." Checked Ryan,
"Piss off." Laughed Martin.
"You've got a little bit of lipstick just around your mouth." Added Jemma.
Martin wiped his mouth with his cuff before collectively giving everyone the middle finger and setting off.

"Fuck." Said Cloda, out of the blue as Martin continued driving.
"Language, Clodes!" Shouted Martin, looking at her in the rear view mirror.
"For god's sake I really liked him!" Cloda moaned, putting down her phone, looking angry.
"Let me deal with this!" Said Jemma, taking Cloda's phone and sitting beside Ollie.
"Oh!" Was Jemma's response, looking at the message.
"What does it say?!" Asked Ryan, poking Ollie's shoulder.
"Charlie says, 'do you want to see a picture of my cock?' And Cloda's just gone 'noooooo!!!'" Said Ollie.
"I don't like the sound of this Charlie guy anymore." Intruded Martin who had turned down the radio slightly to aid his eavesdropping.
"I'll deal with this one." Said Ryan, reaching over and taking the phone, "it's probably tiny anyway."
"Ryan!" Shouted Zoe,
"You just want to see a picture of his willy you gay prick." Chuckled Ollie.
"No I most certainly do n-" Ryan paused mid sentence and his eyes widened as the phone vibrated signifying a new message. He burst out laughing, lying back down on his seat unable to contain himself.
"He asked if you wanted to see a picture of his cock!" Cried Ryan, "he's just sent a picture of a fucking chicken!"
Cloda grabbed back her phone and screamed of laughter at the photo of a sincere looking hen, and Martin had to pull over on the hard shoulder because of everyone's incapability to keep silent.
"He's a keeper, Cloda!" Assured Ollie, "I look forward to meeting him."
"Yes, me too. You better start sending those x's at the end of your texts to him now." Added Lucy.
Cloda remained in her seat, sending a multitude of proceeding texts to Charlie, smiling continuously.
