Chapter 73

Changbin was startled. Chan rolled restlessly back and forth next to him. His forehead was sweaty and his hands clenched into fists.

"Hey baby, everything is fine!" he said, gently brushing over Chan's upper body.

But that didn't help.

Changbin needed a moment to shake off the rest of the fatigue, then bent over Chan and shook him.

"Baby wake up!"

But Chan didn't wake up. His eyes seemed to panicky look around under the eyelids and he breathed incredibly fast. As if he were running around and looking for someone.

The next moment he flinched as if he had been beaten.

Changbin didn't know what to do. For a moment he thought about beating Chan, but he really didn't want to hurt him.

Undecided, he looked at the room door and finally jumped up at short notice and ran into Minho and Jisung's room.

"Min, wake up!"

Minho was startled as soon as Changbin had put his hand on Minho's arm.

"What is it?" he asked sleepily.

"Chan...-"

Without Changbin having to say anything further, Minho jumped out of bed and ran into the other bedroom.

Meanwhile, tears ran down Chan's face and he read curved on the bed as if he were in pain.

Minho gently put his hand on Chan's cheek and talked reassuringly to him, but as before with Changbin, it didn't help.

Desperately, Changbin looked at Minho who chewed around on his lower lip.

Just as Minho raised his hand to beat Chan, because he couldn't think of anything else to wake up the older one, Chan drove up, with his eyes wide open and screamed.

"JISUNG!"

Panicked and desperate, Chan looked around the room and looked for Jisung, while he somehow seemed to perceive Minho and Changbin only half.

Tears flowed over his face and helplessly he tried to hold on to something.

The moment he found Minho arm and clung to it desperately, the door opened and a sleepy Jisung came into the room yawning.

"What's going on here?" he asked and only realized the next moment Chan's desperate facial expression and the tears that were still running down his face.

"Channie..."

Without hesitation, he crawled onto the bed and wrapped his arms around Chan. The older buried his face on Jisung's shoulder and his hands in his hair.

Jisung gently stroked Chan's back, kissed him wherever he could reach and muttered soothing words.

Chan slowly calmed down again.

Jisung gently pushed him a bit away from himself and wiped the tears from Chan's face.

"Are you okay again?" he asked quietly.

Chan nodded, took a deep breath and pulled Jisung back to himself.

"Can you please stay here," Chan murmured softly.

Jisung immediately nodded and slipped under the duvet to Chan, who let himself sink back into the bed and pulled Jisung directly back into his arms.

Changbin also breathed with relief and then cuddled up to Chan from behind, while Minho stood up, turned off the light and then cuddled behind Jisung. Which made it pretty tight in bed, but none of them could be bothered by that.

It would probably take quite a while for them to have processed the experience.

Fortunately, with Jisung in his arms and Changbin behind him, Chan was able to fall asleep again reasonably quickly. And Jisung in Chan's arms was also easy to fall asleep again, while Minho and Changbin found it much harder to fall asleep again.

"Min?  Are you still awake?" Changbin whispered softly.

"Yes, I am...," Minho murmured and sat up.

"Would you go down with me for a moment?"

"Of course," tired, Minho stood up and reached for Changbin's hand, who in the meantime had also stood up and waited for him.

After Minho had made cocoa for both of them, they cuddled together on the sofa and Changbin leaned against Minho.

"Everything okay with you?" Minho asked quietly.

Changbin nodded. "I just couldn't fall asleep again."

"Understandable..."

Minho gently stroked Changbin's arm. He wished he could do more than hold the younger one in his arms, but at the moment that was all he could do.

But at least he felt Changbin slowly calmed down and his breaths became slower and deeper.

"Sleep well Binnie!" he murmured softly and kissed him gently on the forehead.

He carefully pulled the wool blanket over him and Changbin and then carefully slipped into a more comfortable position and closed his eyes, even if he didn't know if it was a good idea to leave Chan and Jisung alone.

But he didn't want to wake Changbin up again now either.

With Changbin half lying on top of him, he finally fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

The next morning, Jisung was the first to wake up. Yawning, he stretched out and then looked around surprised.

He was still in Chan's arms, but Minho and Changbin had disappeared. Chan was still sleeping deeply and since he didn't want to wake him up, he carefully detached himself from him and crawled out of bed to look for the others.

He found them down on the sofa, so intertwined that he couldn't really see where Minho started and where Changbin stopped.

Smiling, he pulled the blanket over the two again and went upstairs again to take a shower.

He grabbed fresh clothes and a towel and went to Chan and Changbin's bathroom to take a shower so that he would notice when Chan would wake up. Not that he was really afraid that Chan would have a nightmare again, but just to make sure that he would hear it if it were.

The warm water that rained down on him felt incredibly good and for a moment he leaned against the wall.

Although the day yesterday had been incredibly beautiful, the night had been quite exhausting and not very relaxing. Especially for the others, but Jisung hadn't slept really well due to all the hustle and bustle at night.

At some point, Jisung shook his head and tried to push away the circling thoughts in his head.

They had a bad night. Nothing that would throw them really far back again.

But still it was somehow something else if it was Chan who was not well.

Jisung was used to Chan being the stronger of the two of them. He had always been. He had always paid attention to Jisung and stood protectively in front of him more than once.

Seeing Chan so helpless hurt so much.

Jisung would have liked to have shouted out loud. The thoughts in his head were incredibly difficult to calm down.

In order not to spend more time standing in the shower and being trapped in his thoughts, Jisung finally washed himself and brushed his teeth before he stepped out of the shower, dried himself and brushed his hair dry as much as possible.

He then put on the T-shirt and boxer shorts to make his way down. He urgently needed a coffee.

Just as he came out of the bathroom, he saw Chan yawning and opening his eyes tired.

He immediately dropped his clothes and crawled under the blanket to Chan.

"Good morning Channie," he whispered and gently kissed the elder.

"Good morning baby."

Yawning, Chan pulled the younger into his arms and pressed him tightly against him.

"You smell good," Chan murmured.

"I just took a shower. And actually I was just about to go downstairs, make coffee. Would you like one too?"

Chan shook his head and pressed Jisung even closer to himself.

"Channie, but I can't get up like that..." Jisung said with a grin.

"I know," Chan murmured, pressing his lips on Jisung's neck.

Giggling, Jisung gave up his resistance and gently stroked Chan's back.

"Are you feeling a little better?"

Chan nodded and bit gently into Jisung's neck.

"Chan," Jisung moaned and pressed himself against Chan. He raised his head and put his lips demandingly on Jisungs.

Chan carefully let his hand slide under Jisung t-shirt and stroked over the upper body of the younger. Teasingly, he pressed his hip against Jisungs and performed circular movements, causing him to moan Jisung again.

"Are we disturbing?"

Surprised, Chan and Jisung looked up and saw Minho and Changbin standing at the end of the bed.

While Jisung turned bright red, Chan just grinned contentedly.

"No, you don't."

Grinning, he turned to Jisung again, winked at him and kissed him again.

"Yah! You have your own fiancé with whom you can do something like that!" Minho said with a grin and pulled Chan away from Jisung, while Changbin pulled Jisung to him on the other side of the bed.

He needed a moment to understand that Minho's statement wasn't really serious. But when he saw that Minho had sat on Chan's lap and now kissed him, he breathed a sigh of relief, only to be pushed into bed by Changbin the next moment.

Changbin was usually much more reserved when it came to kissing and such things with Jisung or Minho, but now his lips were demanding on Jisung's.

Surprised, the younger one moaned and buried his hands in Changbin's black hair.

What they both didn't notice was that Chan and Minho watched them grinning.

"Do you think we should ask them if they want to have breakfast with us or just leave them here?" Minho asked quietly.

Chan shrugged his shoulders with a grin and pulled Minho to kiss him again before they both got up quietly.

At that moment, Changbin looked up.

"Did you say anything about breakfast?"

Laughing, Minho and Chan nodded, which caused Changbin to roll his eyes and then turn back to Jisung, who looked at him with sad eyes.

"Does that mean you prefer breakfast to me?"

"Actually not. But I'm incredibly hungry."

As if to confirm, his stomach growled at that moment.

Jisung looked at him so sadly that Changbin couldn't help but bend over him and kiss him again before he got up.

"Come on, little one! Let's eat something. After that, you'll get more love if you want."

Smiling, Changbin held out a hand and pulled Jisung out of bed.

Finally, they sat together at the table and had breakfast.
