Chapter 67

Time skip to the evening before the weekend trip

꧁ ⸺ ♥ ⸺ ꧂

Chan had the feeling that there were stones lying on his chest, nearly making it impossible to breath or to fall asleep. He rolled back and forth in bed restlessly.

The others were already asleep. Thank God it didn't took much persuasion to get them to go to bed early.

The last two weeks had been quite exhausting. Apart from the obvious, the preparations for their move, Chan had also had his hands full with the preparations for the two proposals that were ahead of them.

And it had been difficult enough to shake off Changbin and Minho often enough so that he could prepare everything necessary.

Jisung had tried to support him if possible, but most of it had Chan to do himself. Which didn't really bothered him. He was a perfectionist and liked to do things himself so that they became the way he imagined it. But time had been really short.

And although everything was actually finished so far, he felt terrible.

He was insanely afraid that Changbin would not accept his proposal. Although that was actually total nonsense, they had been together for three years. They lived together and worked together and yet they couldn't get enough of each other. But he couldn't just shake off the fear of it.

In his head he went again through everything they still had to do tomorrow. He and Changbin had already packed their things and they had already packed some things for Minho and Jisung, but the two definitely had to pack warm clothes and the stuff from the bathroom. That would've made too obvious that something was going on if they had packed these things too.

And on the ride they had to go shopping. Because the holiday apartment they would go to was equipped with everything, but they had to bring their own food.

Again, Chan turned around and almost fell out of bed in shock when he noticed that Minho was looking at him. He didn't expect that at all.

"What about you?" Minho asked quietly.

Chan pulled the younger one towards him and buried his face on his neck. He couldn't say anything to Minho. Not that he was excited about how he and Jisung would like the weekend trip and not that he was insanely afraid that Changbin would not accept his proposal.

"Oh, I somehow can't sleep," Chan murmured and pressed Minho firmly to himself.

"Do we want to get up again and drink a cocoa?"

Chan thought about it for a moment and then nodded. Together they crawled out of bed and tried not to wake up the other two with it.

Arriving in the kitchen, Minho started to make the cocoa, while Chan had leaned against the kitchenette and watched him. And once again he noticed what a loving, caring person Minho was.

Emphasizes inconspicuous, he strolled to Minho, stood behind him and pulled him into his arms.

Minho leaned against him with a smile.

"Living room or balcony?" he finally asked after the cocoa was ready.

"Balcony," Chan said and grabbed a wool blanket from the sofa on the way there.

Together they sat down on the bench and the balcony and Chan wrapped them both in the wool blanket as best as he could. The nights were slowly getting much colder.

Minho leaned against him yawning and carefully sipped his cocoa.

Actually, Chan would have liked to talk to him about all the absurd thoughts in his head. Minho was a good listener and gave good advice, but he didn't want to ruin the surprise.

So he suppressed his sigh and just cuddled up to Minho.

"You seem stressed," Minho finally murmured at some point.

"Hmm..." Chan would have liked to have run away. Minho rarely escaped anything. And since he was in therapy, his antennas seemed to have been even more receptive for emotional confusion. "There is still a lot to do before we move. In addition, the management is annoying with the fact that we should slowly start preparing for the comeback again and I really don't know if Ji is ready for that again."

What was actually true. In the last week, the annoying calls of their management had become more.

Minho nodded sympathetically. He would have liked to have sent the management to hell, even if he knew that they were only doing their job. But he also didn't want Jisung to see himself forced to go back on stage when he wasn't ready for it.

"And when should you go back to the studio?" he asked quietly.

"They would like it if we started again next week. They would give two to three weeks and set the appointments accordingly so that we have "enough" time to get back in..."

Minho would have preferred to throw his cup against the wall, even if he knew it wouldn't help. Jisungs job was just that, a job. Even if many wouldn't see it that way. The label could kick out Jisung at any time if they had the feeling that he no longer worked the way they wanted.

Sighing, he reached for Chan's hand.

"And what do you want to do now?"

"Talk to Jisung... I can't do anything else...," Chan buried his face in his hands.

This was also a topic that he had more or less successfully postponed so far. And he would do the devil to talk to Jisung about it before their weekend trip.

He wanted Jisung to have a good time and didn't have to deal with whether he would manage to be able to be back on the stage soon.

"Oh Min..." he murmured and felt even more helpless than half an hour ago.

"If you want me to lock them up, let me know. One call is enough and we get them locked away for at least 36 hours!" Minho said jokingly, but actually he was exactly after it.

But after all, it conjured up a small smile on Chan's lips.

"And you get a kiss from me if you think that would help you!" said Minho and smiled gently. "It helped me. Two weeks ago... that morning from my first therapy session."

"Did I ever tell you how proud I am of you? To both of you! That you go through with the therapy!"

"Have you... several times! And it also seems to help something..." minho said and smiled softly.

Because his nightmares had actually become less and Jisung was also doing better. He was calmer overall and at least knew something about how to help himself when a situation overwhelmed him.

And Minho was damn happy about it. Because even if there were moments when they both didn't really know how to react, there hadn't been more incident in which one of them, or both, had to throw up.

Although he - if he was completely honest with himself - also had to admit that they had not tried to get closer again.

On the other hand, the last two weeks had also been stuffed with enough other things, so that in the evening they had simply fallen into bed completely exhausted often enough.

"And that's what I meant! Every time!" said Chan and pulled Minho back to him.

In the meantime, their mugs were empty and slowly they became cold.

"Do we want to go back in?" Minho asked quietly.

"Yes. Maybe we should try to get some sleep," Chan said and pulled Minho with him, from the bench on the balcony, back to the kitchen, where they both put their cups in the dishwasher.

"I haven't received a kiss yet," said Chan when Minho was about to go back to the bedroom.

Grinning, Minho turned around.

"And you think you deserve one?" asked Minho and seriously pulled his eyebrows together.

"Yes! I do!" Chan said for sure, pouted slightly and stretched out his arms to Minho.

Grinning, Minho came back to him again and let him pull him into his arm.

"So you want a kiss, huh?" he asked gently.

Chan nodded.

Before he knew it, Minho had pushed him against the wall and kissed him. Wild and passionate.

Surprised, Chan gasped for air, while Minho first bit his neck and then began to suck on his sensitive skin. -their hips were pressed close together and Chan would have lied if he had said that it didn't drove him crazy.

"Min," he moaned.

Almost abruptly, Minho let go of his neck and kissed him again. Much gentler than before.

"We should maybe go to sleep," Minho murmured.

"Maybe... or we could do something else," Chan replied and tried to pull Minho even closer to him.

Grinning, Minho kissed him again and provocatively rubbed his pelvis on Chans.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Chan moaned and stretched out towards him.

"You have no idea..."

"No matter what we do now, before we go further than that now, we have to talk to Binnie and Ji about it beforehand and you know that too," said Minho, almost regretfully.

"I know... and as much as I would want that right now, I would never want to do anything that would hurt them!"

"Well then come on, let's go to bed," Minho said and pulled Chan behind him into the bedroom.

When they both lay next to each other in bed again, Minho gently kissed Chan.

"Sleep well, my handsome!" he said lovingly.

"Sleep well...," Chan said, pulling him closer to him.

And cuddled tightly to Minho, he was finally able to fall asleep.
