Sarah's POV

Do they know when to quit? No, they don't. My younger siblings were teasing me non stop. It was Father's day, and I had no biological father to celebrate with. Of course all us Nettle kids banded together to create the best gift ever for my adopted father, but I wasn't celebrating with my actual family. I had made a choice. I was going to run away. Yes it was a couple of days after the first glitch with the tech, but it was my best bet.

Later that night, I packed all my vaulables, some clothes, a phone, paper and pen, my hoodie, my diary, and my locket. The locket was the only thing that showed my past, it had me and a little boy. The picture was cute, but smudged. I could tell we shared green eyes and blond hair. He wore a black hoodie with some white and very little green. I clipped the locket around my neck and left. But who said it would be easy.

                                                             Lloyd's POV

There was a scream. Kai and I whipped our heads in the direction it came from. We left to see what was happening. A teenage girl, a bit younger than me, was facing numerous ninjroids. She had my same hair and eye color! Without a sound, Kai swooped down to save to girl. I used my spinjitsu to wipe out the ninjroids. When we finished, Kai and I decided to introduce ourselves.

"Hi, I'm Lloyd Garmadon." I held out a hand. She shook it.

"I'm Sarah Nettle." She said in a shy manner. Kai casually walked over.

"Hey babe, I'm Kai." Kai gave her his signature smirk. Sarah giggled and blushed. Kai can you act normal around girls for one second! He wrapped his arm around Sarah and pulled her close. I don't know if this was just because of recent events, but she snuggled into Kai's chest. It was cute, but they literally just met. Then I realized, as did Kai, that she was crying. Kai, being a big brother, knew what to do. He stroked Sarah's head gentlely and rubbed her back. Eventually she calmed down and we could ask her questions.

"I'm adopted, the only thing I have about my past is this locket, and I recently ran away"

"Why?" Kai asked

"Well, my life sucked and I wanted to get away from it all. Then the 'bots attacked me and you guys saved me." Her finger was messing with the locket around her neck. Sarah wasn't too shy, but she was still nervous. Obviously, she knew once we left, she would be alone again. And she had no where to go. 

"Hey, Sarah, do you want to come to the Bounty with us? You could stay until we get you a home." Kai gave me a look when I said that. Sarah nodded greatfully. So the decision was made, Sarah was coming to live with us on the Bounty.
