Neil was just lying on his bed. He opened and closed his eyes continuously as he couldn't able to concentrate on anything. His mind was flooded with thoughts of Avni. He took a deep breath.

"Should I talk to her?... About my feelings for her?.... What if she don't have feelings for me?.... Where she might be now? That too with him😒... How come I don't know that Kunal... When she will be back?... Argh!! I hate this irritated feeling ... " He squeezed his hair in annoyance. He again took his laptop to work so he could distract himself but he couldn't able to do it.

He kept that away and shut his eyes tightly atleast trying hard to sleep.

At evening

They have spend the entire day with each other but Avni was mentally absent the whole day as she was thinking of Neil. She was sitting on the cafe with him while there were troop playing soothing music while Kunal seemed to enjoy it. There were some couple dancing while Kunal looked at Avni.

"Avni... Shall we dance? " He asked while Avni looked up at him hearing his voice.

"Huh?... Me?? " She asked him

"Yess... Yess please... " He said and asked her hand while Avni looked at his hand and then him.

She gave in sighing while they were dancing slowly to the slow music.

"Huh....Avni...Vo....Ma...May I? "

"You are looking beautiful... "

She lifted her face and looked at Kunal and all she could see is Neil. She smiled seeing him. She just cherished those moments where they dance together. While dancing someone hit her back unintentionally while Avni's trance broke. She saw Kunal and realised she was actually imagining Kunal as Neil. She just moved away from him.

"Huh... Kunal.....May be we can dance later.... " She said while he nodded and they left from there and sat on their respective table while Avni gulped down the water.

"Avni..... Chachu have told about you lot...." Kunal said while Avni looked at him knowing what he was saying that is her marriage.

" I dont care about anything... I really like you Avni" He said in a go. 

" You can take your time... " He said smiling while Avni looked at him blankly.

Later on

Kunal dropped her home

"Thank you Kunal.... " She said smiling

"My pleasure Avni... It's been so nice meeting you... " He said smiling.

"Same here Kunal....Byee" She said

"Byee... " He said and she stepped out of his car.

She then reached home and opened the door and found him nowhere. His door was closed probably locked. She then started moving to her room. She came out after changing her dress and still his room was closed. She was just looking at the door and she again went in to her room.

It's been an hour.

Neil stepped out and at the same time her room door got open and she stepped out coincidentally and they looked at each other.

"Hey! " He said faking his smile and she can clearly see that.

"Hii! " She said smiling lightly and noticed him wearing jacket seemed like going somewhere

"When did you come? " He asked her

" An hour ago... " She said while he nodded.

"Going somewhere? " She asked him while he nodded.

"Yeah.. Just for a walk... In need of a fresh air... " He replied while she nodded and he started to move.

"Neil... " She stopped him while he turned to see her.

"Can i join? " She asked him while he nodded smiling.

....

They were walking down their apartment and after sometime they sat on the bench downstairs. They were silent while she turned and saw him looking at the sky. She then looked away when he looked at her as he felt her gaze.

"Hmm... How was your date? " She asked not looking at him while he looked at her hearing her.

"What?! " He asked while she turned and saw him.

" Yeahh... You went with Riya right?....
for a date... " She said casually not showing that she is actually jealous.

"No Avni... It's not a date Actually... " He said chuckling

"Ohh come on Neil😏" She said twisting her lip.

"May be actually it is.... As she did proposed me " He said while she looked at him and then looked away hearing him.

"What did you say? " Her voice came low and she was not looking at him while he was looking at her.

"I... Told...her that... " He took a pause while she looked at him as he became silent and they looked at each other.

"I told her that I am not ready for this ... " He said in a go and she was happy for little but frowned even more listening to him.

"Hmm" She replied looking down.

"What about you? " She heard him and looked at him again who was looking at her already

"I told him the same... That I am not ready for this... " She replied and he nodded.

"It's not date ... Atleast not for me... My chachu and Neela ma wanted me to meet him... And that's it " She sighed saying while he just nodded.

After sometime they went to their home again. They walked in unison and their paths drifted as they started moving to their rooms with a sad face. They opened the door of their room and turned to close it and looked at each other as their room was opposite to each other.

Neil just got lost into his thoughts

Flashback

Riya and Neil were sitting in a restaurant and Riya was so happy that Neil came with her when she asked him.

"Neil... I don't know how to say... I.... I really like you Neil... " Riya said while Neil was shocked hearing her. He looked at her blankly not expecting this.

"Neil? " She shaked him a little while his trance broke.

"Riya... I.. ...I......I am sorry... I... I am already in love with someone... " He replied to her as he realised his heart belong to her, to that one person, his Avni.

Flashback ends

Neil faked his smile while Avni just lost into her thoughts

"I really like you... And i dont care about anything... " He said in a go

" You can take your time... " He said smiling while Avni looked at him blankly.

"Hmm... Kunal... I am so sorry..... I....actually.... I have feelings for someone..... " She said looking at him as she realised that she can never stop thinking of him, and he already took place in her heart, her Neil.

"Please Don't say anything to my family... I want to say it to them by myself when the right time comes... " She asked him not to tell anything to her family

Flashback ends

Avni faked her smile and they both closed the door together.

They lyed on the bed facing the ceiling

"She is not ready... " He said

"He is not ready... " She said

"Not ready for anything.... "He said

"Not ready for anything.... " She said

"May be I should not talk to her as I don't wanna ruin my friendship with her.... I can't make things awkward between us again.... " He said

"May be I should not talk to him as I don't wanna ruin anything between us ..." She said

They both together were thinking about each other and they were thinking the same. They closed their eyes slowly as they feel their thoughts were exhausting them. Soon both dozed off to sleep.
