MISFITS

There is a land in which some dwell,
If you listen their story they'll tell,
Some will be small and mighty,
While others are tall and flighty,
If you think your eyes are deceiving,
Don't look now or you'll start believing,
There goes a one eyed three legged man,
And no-of you he is no fan,
Some are big and burrly too,
While others you'll see but look right through,
Their misfits you might say,
But you better run the other way,
With eyes of fire and ember blue,
Some will want to feast on you,
Which one do you like the most,
Its not one but a festering host,
Be quiet now don't make a sound,
What's that slithering on the ground,
Its not a snake like you think,
Plug your nose!it's about to stink,
What's that flying in the air,
Look but please don't stare,
Its a human with bat like wings,
Wait-there's more of those tiny things,
With a mist of star dust in the sky,
Spells are cast to trick the eye,
That person doesn't have two heads,
Nor its skin so slowly sheds,
If from these misfits you must flee,
Go ahead don't wait on me,
I'm working on a new twisted skeem,
Waiting here the next time you dream,
Excited to show off what's come to be,
With more misfits for you to see.
