Description:  Lavine finds Hugo is about to leave for the military.  What will she do without him?

    Lavine's  POV:

     I can not believe it, Emma.

    "Believe, what bestie?"

      "Your brother, Hugo, is leaving!"

       "Lavine, it is time, you told him."

         "It might ruin things between us."

          "Girl, the only thing that could ruin things is for you to see him in the arms of someone else." Emma blurts out.

            "I can not let that happen."

            "Well, then, go get him."

                 I hang up, put on some sandals, grab my purse, and hurry out the door.

                 Mom, Dad, do not bother to ask where I am going.  I suppose they read it in the newspaper by now.

                     I arrive at the airport.  I walk over to Hugo.

                    "Miss, military personnel only allowed here."

                   "It is an emergency."

                 I blush as Hugo looks at me.

              "Lavine, what brings you here?"

             "Oh, Hugo, I had to tell you before you left, I love you!"

                 I see Hugo smile as he pulls me closer to him and kisses me.

               "Whoo, way to go man!"  I hear all the other soldiers in the line shout.

                 "You got yourself, a real beauty there." Another calls out.

           "Miss, I must ask you to step aside, now."

              I hear Hugo laugh.

            I  feel him place something in my hand.

           "I promise to write as often as I can," I say as I step over the cornered-off area. 

        The airport "Karen" glares at me.

     I   ignore her and head home.

    Nothing can ruin my happiness.
