Barry looks across the room.
Barry: Look, there's that teal-haired kid I was telling you about.
Adrien sees Juleka standing next to a tall kid, with teal-hair and a leather coat.
Adrien: Ah, I see. Well, that's Luka, Juleka's twin brother.
Nino suddenly runs up.
Nino: Dude, you gotta come with me, it's urgent!
Adrien: Actually I was-
Barry stops him.
Barry: It's alright, Adrien. I can manage.
Adrien: Alright.
Adrien walks off with Nino.
Adrien: Now what's going on?
Barry walks up to the twins.
Barry: Hey, Juleka. And Luka, right?
Luka: Yeah, and you must be Barry, right?
Barry: That's right.
He and Luka shake hands.
Luka: Juleka's told me so much about you.
Barry: Really?
He turns to Juleka, who just smiles, shyly.
Luka: She told me about everything you do for everyone at school.
You certainly have a generous heart, just like Marinette and Adrien.
Barry: Ah, the intuitive type, huh?
Luka: Yeah, I've been known to read people's emotions, depending on how they feel.
And express them through music, I'm also a guitarist for Kitty Section.
A band that Marinette helped design the costumes for.
Juleka: (Mumbles) He's also in love with Marinette.
Luka looks at her shocked.
Luka: Um…
Barry: So, you have a fondness for Marinette, don't you?
Luka: (Sigh) Yeah, but she clearly loves Adrien.
And, that's alright, he loves everyone, and everyone loves him. Just like they do you.
Barry: You say you can read people's emotions. What can you read from me, a complete stranger?
Luka: Let's see.
Luka studies Barry.
Luka: Hmm, interesting.
Barry: What is it?
Luka: From what I can tell, you seem to have suffered a great tragedy, when you were young. But you never seemed to let it define you.
Luka: Instead, you choose to help others overcome their troubles.
Everyone you meet, you make them feel better about themselves.
Even the most reserved of people, like Chloe, are happy to be around you.
An endless source of love and positivity, that's the very emotion I can feel coming from you: Love.
Barry appears impressed by Luka's intuition.
Barry: Wow, I got to hand it to you, you're good.
I should come by and visit you two, when I get the chance.
Luka: Thanks, Barry.
Barry: Well, I'm going to go mingle with the other guests.
It's been nice meeting you, Luka.
Luka: Same here, man.
They shake hands, and Barry walks off.
Juleka looks at her brother.
Juleka: You always have such a way with people.
Luka grins, amused.
Luka: Yeah.
As Barry walks around, a girl wearing a black kimono and veil approaches Barry.
She wastes no time in introducing herself.
???: You're Barry Allen, yes?
Barry: Uh, yeah.
Kagami: Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Kagami Tsurugi.
You may know my mother, Tomoe Tsurugi.
Barry: The CEO of Tsurugi industries?
How could I not know about her?
Kagami: You're very well informed, that's good.
Barry: Um, thanks?
Kagami: And in case you're wondering why you haven't seen me at school, I'm home-schooled.
I only attend the fencing class at school.
I've heard about you through Adrien and Marinette.
And I have been living in Paris for just a few months.
Barry: Man, you don't mince words, do you?
Kagami: I find that truth is usually the best way to get to know someone.
Barry: Nice. So, uh, are you adjusting to Paris well?
Kagami: I think I'm still adjusting to Earth. I look around and see that people in Paris are very different from those in Japan, I feel like I don't fit in amongst everyone else.
It took me a while just to try and understand Marinette.
Barry: Yeah, that happens, sometimes, but you get used to it, over time.
Marinette's a bit strange, but even she has a method to her madness.
Kagami smiles warmly at Barry.
Kagami: You certainly have the bearing of a man of honor, and great integrity.
Barry: Not sure what that means, but thanks.
Kagami: My pleasure.
Barry: Nice meeting you, Kagami.
Kagami: Same to you, Barry Allen.
He walks over to another group of guests.
