It had been hours since you last saw Matt and Mello, and you were getting worried. Matt would normally come to get some chocolate and give you lunch, not mints normal lunch, and then leave again. But today he didn't come. You shrugged, thinking Mello hasn't run out of chocolate yet, probably too busy shouting, but you knew you were just giving yourself false hope, the worst kind. Something bad had probably happened, and you missed it all. What if something good happened, like free mint bubblegum and all you can do is be bored in an apartment that isn't even yours. You sighed in frustration as you threw a pillow up in the air, catching it each time. You should've really been thinking about the Kira case, and you really needed to get new contact lenses. You were running low, but you weren't allowed to leave the stupid messy apartment without Matt or Mello, and they would question you about wearing contacts. You couldn't exactly say 'Oh I see people's names without these.' You thought. As you were thinking, you were pulling weird faces so if anyone were to just walk in they would worry... A lot. You were brought out of your weird thoughts when the apartment door burst open. You didn't react though, you just carried on throwing the pillow up and catching it, that was until you saw Matt carrying Mello. You forgot to catch the pillow and it fell on your head. You jumped off the sofa and question Matt.

"What's up with Marshmellow?" You asked.

"He's unconscious." Matt answered, placing him on the sofa.

"Why?"

"He blew up the hideout."

"Why?"

"Part of his stupid plan."

You looked confused.

"Why?" Matt looked at you. You put your hands up as to say sorry and let Matt do his thing. You didn't really get a good look at Mello so you weren't really worried.

"Did all his chocolate disappear? I wouldn't be surprised if he blew up a place for chocolate." You said as you ate a tic tac. They were the only mint things left. Matt said nothing as he helped Mello. You were getting curious. You stepped closer and looked at Mello, staring in shock.

"Oh. My. Mints. Is he... Is he even alive? I mean, did he try and FRY himself?" You asked as you took a better look at him. Matt, obviously, wasn't in the mood. You looked down as you unplugged your iPod and went to your corner. You pulled the blanket over you and fell asleep. It wasn't fun when no one wanted to even attempt a laugh or smile. One thing you learnt was no matter how bad the situation is, you must always smile. That's what kept you going for so long in life.
You curled up in a ball, hugging your knees. Before you fell asleep you took your contacts out, not looking at Matt or Mello. For some reason you didn't really want to know their true names using your eyes. You wanted them to tell you or not know at all. So for now they are Matt and Mello, Strawberry and Marshmellow. You closed your eyes as you came up with one conclusion, whoever wasn't your friend or didn't know you was missing out on a great time. You were amazing! And that was the last thought that entered your head as you fell asleep.

"Mint!" You heard Matt's voice shout. You sat up as you rubbed your eyes.

"Hm?" You asked as you yawned, stretching.

"You were shouting in your sleep, almost screaming." Matt said, looking worried as he was still trying to fix Mello up.

"Oh. That's weird, I can't remember my dream." You were about to look at Matt when you remembered to put new contacts in. You almost forgot, you wouldn't get clumsiness get in the way. You put your new contacts in and looked at Mello. You were really tired and you wanted to go back to sleep but you couldn't, knowing that Mello was hurt. Matt went into his room, probably to play video games or to sleep. You sat at the end of the sofa, looking at Mello. He looked peaceful and innocent. You didn't even realise that you were holding his hand. You were about to pull away when he grabbed your hand, not letting go. You blushed slightly as you rested your head on the sofa, still sitting on the floor.
