After being practically bed-bound for a couple of days I can finally leave the Medjacks and go out for walks.

I'm determined to get my job as a Runner back. I've heard that nobody wants to go in, and Minho can't do it alone. It's not fair on him.

Today is the day that I will find Minho and discover when I can go back into the maze. I woke up pretty early, seeing as I've been lacking sleep due to being forced to rest continuously for the past few days.

Straight away, I head out to go and find Minho. "You leaving already, y/n?" I hear Jeff saying behind me.

I turn around confidently, "I'm fed up of staying in there. I'm going to find Minho and get back to work, it's pretty boring staying up there all day!"

Jeff simply nods his head in agreement and goes back to what seems like fixing a Glader's broken finger. Ouch.

I stride towards the Map room, where Minho usually stays in the morning until he goes into the maze. Sure enough, I find him there looking through his notes.

"Back so soon?" He chuckles.

"I want to go back into the maze." Minho's face turns twisted, questioning my sanity most likely.

"Did Gally agree in the end?" He questions. I'm guessing he knows about Gally's hatred towards me going into the maze again, tough luck.

"Gally doesn't control me. I'm doing it, whether he likes it or not." I sigh.

Minho releases a soft laugh, obviously surprised of my defiance. It's true, I can do whatever I want and absolutely nobody's going to tell me otherwise.

"Alright then, you free today?" I keenly nod my head in excitement, eager to get back to work. Shuck, I never imagined I would say something like that!

"Great, we will head out in an hour. Make sure you actually eat something this time, and don't forget to pack food for when we're out there."

I rush out of the door, immediately heading to the kitchens to get some food. It's not long until I find some sandwiches and shove them in my pocket, as well as my mouth.

After I eat some food I leave to go find Minho again, who's most likely talking to Alby. I head towards Homestead, until my plans alter slightly.

I spot Gally with the other Builders, fixing some of the wood around the area. Gally's eyes find mine straight away.

His legs carry him towards me, in a slight rush. He scans my body, seeing that I'm wearing similar clothes to Minho. We both head round the back of Homestead, leaving us with more privacy.

"So, you've decided to go back then?" He sighs, not pleased with my decision. Guilt starts to hit me. I don't intend to hurt Gally but I always end up doing it.

"Yeah..." I whisper, not bearing to look at him. I'm about to walk away until my body is in Gally's arms.

I don't move for a second, confused by the sudden action. It doesn't take long until I wrap my arms around his stomach, embracing him.

He gives me a soft kiss on my forehead. "Be safe out there." I hug him even tighter, making sure he knows that I'm here and that I'm never going to leave him.

"Always." His head snuggles into my neck, leaving another soft kiss before pulling back. He gives me a gentle smile before placing his hand on my back, encouraging me to move.

"Come on, you don't want to be late now do you?" He grins.

We both head back to where the other Builders are, who are now joined by Minho and Alby. Well, that makes my job a little easier.

"You ready?" Minho questions.

I nod my head and we turn to head to the maze. We walk up and I make sure to send Gally one last wave before I enter the maze again.

"Lets go." Minho exclaims, leading the way to where we have to next. Straight away, he pulls out his notepad and pencil.

I guess this is pretty much daily routine for him. I decide to start the conversation, "Does it ever get dull, doing this every day?"

I hear Minho let out a gentle laugh, "Never." After that we both silently agree not to say anything until we've reached where we need to be.

Hopefully I'll make it to the end of the day this time.
