You took a hammer to my world and blindly swung the second the slightest sound fell from your lips and made it's way to my ears and lingered throughout my mind. It was a simple 'hello' that led to the destruction of everything I had ever known.  You made it so easy for me to think that what we had was genuine and real, and what we were building had the strongest foundation that not even the strongest level five hurricane could leave a scratch. It later became known that the slightest movement could turn what we had into a pile of rubbish and broken memories that left a scar on my heart and a bruise in the trust I held with other people.

You led me to believe that you yearned for my soul and my heart, that you wanted to get to know my darkest secrets, the things I locked away so many years ago. I was stupid enough to believe that you were worthy enough for the keys. You took the keys and opened every lock, scanning every piece of information, making me feel better after every revisited memory left me feeling broken again. It felt worth it though, because I got to know you and you got to know me. I got lost in the caves within your mind, every curve excited me, I found myself studying every curve of every cave, getting lost in your mind and knowledge.

I wonder if the whole time we had been talking, if you ever felt this way. Was I ever more than just a body to you? Did you ever get lost in my mind and soul like I had with you? Or was I just a piece of meat you dangled in front of yourself for some kind of sick and twisted motivation, but the second you finish a piece of meat, you're on to the next one? Humans are carnivorous in nature, but you make me want to be vegetarian; the way you only see girls as meat, as some sort of trophy. Good for you for putting up that act as long as you did; that must have been exhausting. At least you let your true colors show before anything happened, but that didn't make it hurt any less. So congratulations, you had me fooled. Thank you for making me think that everyone else will turn out to be exactly like you. I hope you're happy, I hope you got what you wanted.
