We  used to be so close

Until I reached

Grade 6.

And graduated Valedictorian.

Her expectations for me

Grew high

So high

That she wanted me to be on top

Always.

Then, I was scared to fail.

I was scared to disappoint her

Then, I grew up to be ambitious.

She would always brag to me

How she was able

To always be the top 1

In their class

Since grade school

Up to college.

Until she met papa.

She started failing.

And got pregnant with me.

Tingin ko sa sarili ko

Disappointment ako.

Na kapag nagkamali ako

Itatakwil niya ako.

Kaya I doubted going home

During sembreak

Ayoko siyang makita..

Pero..

Mahal ko siya.

Sila ni papa.

E-ewan ko.

Umaasa ako na

Babalik kami sa dati.

Yung walang expectations

At nag-eenjoy lang sa buhay

Na meron kami.

Hindi ko alam.

Ang sama kong anak no?
