Caius Volturi was known the be the most ruthless vampire in existence.

Many labeled the man as someone whose heart was just as cold as his skin. Maybe even colder especially in the past almost two decades. He became even more colder.

But what many didn't know was Caius Volturi lost the last bit of his humanity.

He lost his daughter.

Evangeline Volturi.

The light of his entire universe.

Evangeline was a child that many believed shouldn't have been born. She was half vampire. Half human.

Her mother being a human Caius seduced and thought killed afterwards but somehow lived.

Caius found out about his daughter due to Demetri smelling her scent. Her scent is similar with Caius being the reason.

The baby only an hour old still attached to her mother who died giving birth to her.

Demetri immediately brought her to the castle. Aro using his gift was able to see the truth.

That Evangeline was half vampire half human. And Caius's only daughter. 

And Caius being Caius hated her the moment he saw her. Saw his daughter as a weakness. Something he never needed or wanted.

But it only took Evangeline Volturi one moment to capture her father's heart. One single moment and Caius' entire world revolved around his precious beautiful daughter.

But that enlightened jealousy in one woman's heart. She was supposed to be his world, not this thing that shouldn't exist.

With that, the woman gave the little girl to the man instructing him to take her car away and leave her where no one would ever find her.

Charlie Swan was running on two hours of sleep and a bunch of coffee working a night shift at the station in Forks.

With his newborn daughter Bella waking up most of the night and helping Renée with her and then his parents needing him during the day with their health going down so fast sleep was just nothing important or able to do.

Charlie Swan was about to fall asleep at the front desk when the front door was thrown open and someone ran inside making Charlie jump up.

It was Sue Clearwater with something in her arms. A tiny little baby girl shivering from the cold.

Sue found the little girl while she was outside or something like that.

Charlie didn't question her as he took the baby and held her to him checking her over.

But when the small little girl opened her eyes and Charlie saw her bright blue eyes and the little girl wrapped her tiny little hand around his pinky it was as if she was telling him to calm down. It would all be okay.

No one taking a claim to the little girl Charlie decided to take the little girl home with him.

His wife wasn't that happy regarding that but Bella was already beyond happy regarding having a sister.

With that, the family of three became a family of four. Evangeline Volturi became Evangeline Swan.

For the next few months at least until the day Renée packed up everything that was Bella's and Evangeline's but Evangeline's adoption was not done yet.

With that Renée and Bella left Forks and the family of four became a family of two in Forks.

Evangelina Swan grew up in Forks Washington. While her Dad worked the little girl was usually either with Sue Clearwater or Sara Black until her death.

There were more than a few discussions regarding Evangeline on the reservation but just because the little girl smelt like a cold one did not mean she acted like one at all. She had pink cheeks and clear blue eyes and no want or need to drink any type of blood.

And Sue and Sara were not going to take a no for an answer. 

Once it was take for school to start Evangeline went to Forks schools and met a few friends that were not totally annoying. The blonde's words.

Every summer Evangeline waited for Bella to come and visit but when the two were fourteen Evangeline began going to Phoenix for the summer to visit.

Unlit one year Renée told Charlie to let Evangeline come stay with her for a year or two due to Evangeline about to hit puberty and needing a woman's help with this.

Charlie agreed only for Evangeline's sake and the girl went and came home for every holiday she could to spend with her Dad and the boys who were basically her brother on the Reservation.

A week after her seventeen birthday and returning from her Dad's Evangeline decided she was going to go back to Forks permanently.

She hated the hot sun of Phoenix and missed the rain. But most importantly she misses her Dad.

Although she didn't want to leave Bella. The past two years together the two go closer and she didn't want to leave her sister.

Bella knew the hesitation Evangeline had and decided maybe it would be good to go to Forks as well. Letting her Mom travel with her new husband Phil and she didn't have really anyone at school to talk to besides Evangeline.

And truly she missed her little sister. She wasn't ready to say goodbye either.

With that the Swan sisters were returning, but that one decision changed many things.

At her last visit, Evangeline heard about the new family who came just two months after she left.

The Cullens.

But never met the new weird family.

And meeting the Cullen family everything revolving around Evangeline Swan's semi-perfect life begins to fall apart.
