Mitch's P.O.V

"There's no way that would be her would it?" I ask Jerome. He shrugs.

"I don't know if it would be. She didn't survive that crash." He replies. I shrug and head upstairs into my room. I go to sit on the bed when I notice that there's something in it. I take the covers off and find CJ asleep underneath them.

"CJ? What in the world are you doing?" I ask him. CJ sits up and looks at me.

"I don't know." He says. I frown and sit on the bed next to him.

"You sure you don't know?" He shakes his head. "What is it then?"

"I miss Mom." He says. I wrap my arm around him and pull him into a hug.

"I do too buddy. How about you ask Ty to take you and Amethyst up to Dayton to see Grandma this weekend." I suggest to CJ. CJ nods and heads out of the room. I sigh and get up off the bed. I head over to my desk and sit in my chair. A sudden pain shoots through my head and I groan in pain. I put my head in my hands. My phone starts vibrating and I look at it. A text from Crystal?

'Hey.' It says.

"Ty! Are you messing with Crystal's phone?!" I shout from inside my room.

"No! Why!?" He shouts from his room.

"She just texted me!" Ty comes into my room moments later.

"You said she texted you?" He askes curiously as he closes the door behind him. I nod and show him the message. "Maybe it's just a message that was just now sent." Ty shrugs.

"Then it would've been waiting 10 years to find service to send. Yeah that's logic right there." I say and cross my arms.

"I haven't seen her phone though. Maybe one of the girls have it or maybe one of the kids." Ty suggests. I sigh.

"Who knows. Anyways, I'm going to bed. I'll see you guys in the morning." I say as I yawn. Ty nods and leaves. I climb into my bed and cover myself up with the blankets and drift off to sleep.

Once again, another chapter! This book is actually about 3 weeks ahead. I still have to think of what to write for the tenth chapter of Past and another chapter for Berrytail's Adventure, which isn't as bad as Past.
