Callie Frasier (OS?)
This idea does NOT belong to me. Taken from a tumblr post v.v.
It all started when I signed up for violin classes when I was six. He was there. It took me a while, but I managed to befriend him. I asked him why he would want to play violin, but all he said was "It's my escape."
I didn't think much of the bruises until I was eight. He was missing more practices than ever, and once he had even showed up with a limp. I found it odd that he smiled every time his mom stayed to watch.
It wasn't until he passed me in his violinist skills that I realized what this meant to him. The focus in his green eyes whenever he played, and how narrowed they would become. We were close friends up until the day his mom showed up, her face being dragged down by sadness.
His violin had been broken by his stepfather, and he was heartbroken, so he decided to flunk out of violin classes. His mom said he wasn't willing to let his mom pay for renting one.
The show after that was probably the last time I saw him, until senior year in high school.

I walked into the music room, carrying my violin case. I set it on one of the chairs and sat down on the chair next to it. I drummed my fingers on my thighs, waiting for the teacher and the supposedly new student.
What I didn't expect was Percy Jackson.
Percy's Flashback.
I chewed my lip as Annabeth slid my present across the carpet, and over to me. I had no idea what to expect, honestly. Annabeth always managed to get me the best birthday presents, but I think she mostly got the hints from my mom.
"Seaweed Brain. . ." Annabeth started. "This is from both me and your mom, because we couldn't have bought it without each other's help,"my mom smiled at that.
I untied the ribbon on the package and carefully peeled off the wrapping. I stared at the decently small package in front of me. It was just a box. Can't be that hard to open. I pulled off the tape, and opened the box gingerly.
It was a violin.
My jaw dropped.
Flashback Over.
When he saw me, he swallowed visibly. My mouth was absolutely dry. He eyed the open seat next to me before walking over and sitting down in it.
"I thought you gave up on being a violinist," I hissed in his ear.
"Not once. My mom doesn't know that my friend has one that I can use whenever,"
"Mr. Jackson, would you like to show me what you can do so I can help you with what you need help with?" Mrs. Olsen asked.
I smiled; she had no idea. Percy winked at me before opening his violin case and setting it up (cause I don't know how exactly to explain). His steady gaze told me he had as much practice as he could need.
When he started playing, I stared at him. He was ten times as good as he had been when they were ten (it had been a few years before Gabe broke it). The song was faster than I could have imagined, and better than I could have managed. It wasn't as good as a professional violinists playing, but it was damn close.
The few students that had been whispering had gone silent, and Mrs. Olsen looked surprised. Percy didn't miss a single note, and he didn't dare take his eyes off of the strings. The grace in which he moved the bow didn't at all surprise me; he had been known for it when we were younger.
When he stopped playing, it seemed to me as though it were too soon. Percy was shaking his hands out, his violin sitting on his lap. When he looked at me, I froze.
"Still think you're better, Cal?" He grinned.
I shook my head silently. "You need to teach me that song,"

Percy had invited me to come hang out at his house with a few of his other friends that were coming from a different school. I accepted, hoping that he would get a chance to help me with the violin.
His apartment wasn't very big, but it wasn't small either. There were three bedrooms, but as far as I knew it was only him and his parents. Probably a guest room.
I followed him into the T.V room, where there were three other people.
"Callie, this is Grover, Thalia, and Hazel," Percy introduced, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "You guys know if Annabeth is around?"
"Nah," Thalia said, throwing a grape at Grover's face.
Percy scowled. "I'm going to go check if she's here,"
After Percy left the room, Thalia turned to me. "How do you know him?" She said sharply.
"He's a fellow violinist," I said slowly.
Hazel giggled, and Thalia frowned. Grover just sank back onto the couch, pulling his hat down so it covered it face. Percy entered the room again, "She's just in her room."
Her room?
"Who's Annabeth?" I asked, grabbing a grape from the bowl in the coffee table.
"My girlfriend," Percy said, as he hopped over the back of the couch, landing next to Grover and I.
"You have a girlfriend? What an unlikely story," I said, popping the grape into my mouth.
Thalia looked like she was going to explode; out of amusement or anger, I wasn't sure.
"Percy," a girl with blonde hair said, poking his shoulder. He jumped, looking over his shoulder.
"When did you get here?" He asked, leaning his head back to look at the girl that was standing behind the couch.
"Right now," she said. I assumed this was Annabeth, because she pecked him on the lips.
"Mkay, PDA."
"Thalia," Hazel said, shaking her head.
"Yes, dear?" Thalia said sarcastically.
Annabeth sat down between Percy's legs, her back against his chest. I felt slightly disappointed when he pressed a gentle kiss to her neck, probably because that was the only place he could reach.
They were cute, though.
"Who wants to play UNO?" Hazel asked, holding up a deck of cards.
We all raised our hands.
