~Hello everyone! I just wanted to say that updates will be coming a bit faster because we aren't doing a lot of things in school and the PSSA's are getting pushed to next week.~

~Emily's POV~

I went back upstairs to my room and grabbed the book. Before I go back I should grab a different book cover... I looked at out books and picked out a random one to cover it up. Jasper wouldn't know what I'm reading if a different book cover is covering it. I got up and walked down the stairs and stopped to see Kaden running around with a beautiful smile on his face.

He ran around in circles through the kitchen and living room, playing like all kids do.

Maybe I can get his friends over to play Hide and Seek. I thought mischievously as I walked down the rest of the steps.

I went over to Kaden and went in front of him, stopping him in his tracks. I then picked him up and smiled.

"Hey, honey, want to play Hide and Seek?" I asked joyfully.

"Sure!" He replied.

"Why don't we invite some friends, it would be boring with just the two of us!" I laughed as I put him down.

This is going to be fun. I giggled to myself.

After we got all of Kaden's friends over my house, I started to read the book. Fliping quickly through some pages and stopping at a few. I skimmed through some others before seeing Jasper looking over my shoulder.

Act natural, Emily. He won't know what you're reading. I said to myself and looked behind my shoulder.

"Hey, Em, what are you reading?" Jasper asked, tilting his head to the side.

I turned the book around and shoved it in his face, gigling at how he reacted. "I'm reading No Smart Kids Allowed, why?" I replied.

"Just wondering, whatcha' guys playing?" He asked playfully.

"Hide and Seek!" All of Kaden's friends laughed.

Jasper gave me a concerned look. "Emily, are you okay?" He mumbled in my ear and put hsi hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine," I said quickly in a stern tone.

As Jasper started to walk away, I put down the book and grabbed out my phone. I began to text Helena, Abby, and Violet.

Me: Hey guys, want to come over? I found a cool game we could play. :)

Helena: Sure, can you pick me up?

Me: Sure, I can pick you up,.

Abby: Yeah, uh, alright. I didn't know you still liked me...

Me: Just want to have fun with a few old friends.

Violet: Uh, okay. But, how?

Me: Oh, right, I'll pick you up, Violet.

Me: I'll pick all of you up in a few.

I turned off my phone and put it in my pocket. I wondered how I was going to do this before I got up and went to the door.

Today is going to be a fun day. I laughed to myself.

"Hey Jasper, I'm going to go pick up some of my friends, watch the kids, please," I ordered as I grabbed my jacket black jacket and made my way to the door.

"Sure..." He groaned and looked at me curiously. Before he could ask any questions, I quickly walked out the door, shutting it behind me. 

I walked outside to the car, and noticed someone in it. Wondering who- or what- it was, I walked towards the door. I quickly opened it a scanned quickly in it.There was no one there? I gasped.

"Why, hello, Emily," a familiar voice echoed. 

I turned around, still not seeing anyone. "Who's there!?" I fretted, knowing it was just him. "Harmon, what are you doing here again?"

"Just came in to check on you," he smiled. "So, you chose to play it, ey?"

"Well. Kind of," I mumbled. "Can you help me out a bit? Er, I don't know how to do everything."

"Wow, you're asking me for help?" He gasped and smiled evilishly. "Of course."

We both went into the car and drove off to pick up Abby, Violet, and Helena.

Once we stopped at Abby's house, we went to go knock on her door. Her house was just like any ordinary house. It has two floors, or at least from what it looks like. The house is painted a light baby blue, almost like the sky, with the roof painted a brownish-red color.

"Oh, you should wait outside," I advised as I walked towards the door. I stopped as Mr.Harmon grabbed my hand.

"No, I'm coming. Abby is my daughter, of course," he insisted. He then let go of my arm and walked by my side.

"Okay, but if Abby runs away, don't blame me."

He nodded his head and I rang the doorbell.

Abby opened the door right after I rang the doorbell, almost like she knew I was there. Although I could not see much of it, her house had at least 3 room on the bottom; living room, dining room, and a kitchen. Wow, that's a big house. I said to myself.

"Heya!" I chimed. "C'mon, let's go!" I grabbed her arm and ran towards my car.

"Wha-" Abby replied as she looked at Mr. Harmon, her face grew pale. "Emily..."

We both got in the car; Mr.Harmon in the passengers' seat, Abby in the back, and me in the driver's seat. We then drove towards Helena's house. 

"Okay, we're here!" I exclaimed and ran opened my door.

I opened the door and started walking towards Helena's house until someone grabbed my arm.

"Emily, what are you doing?" Abby commanded. "And why the hell is my dad here?"

I jolted my arm out of her grasp and walked towards the door. Once I got up the stairs and onto her porch, I heard dogs barking. I knocked on the door and waited.

"Coming!" Helena yelled and opened the door, smiling. "Haven't seen you in a while! I missed you!"

"Heya!" I smiled. "Let's go!" I grabbed her arm and dragged her to the car.

She stopped once she saw Mr.Harmon. Her eyes turned a dark red color. She tore my arm off of her and was about to attack Mr.Harmon, thankfully, I stopped her.

"Emily. Just what are you planning?" She growled as she sat down in the car, not taking her dark red eyes off of Mr.Harmon. He smiled at her and looked out the window.

"All we have to do is pick up Violet then I will tell you. Okay?" I snapped as I went to the driver's seat.

When we made it to Violdet's house, I asked Mr.Harmon to help me because only he knows how to break the spell. I can do that after everything is done. Maybe she can be free forever. 

"Hey, Violet!" I yelled as I ran towards her while Mr.Harmon was hiding, being invisible.

"Hey!" She smiled back as she ran towards me. "How do I get out of here?"

"Just keep walking," I advised. "You can make it."

"Uh, okay," she mumbled as she walked past the rock. "How...? Was I always able to pass the rock?"

"Nope. Come out," I laughed as Mr.Harmon came visible again, making Violet jump backward.

"Uh-" She stuttered. "Emily.. wha-" She tried to finish, but I grabbed her arm and ran towards my car, pushing her inside.

"Now then, let's have some fun," I laughed and drove back to my house.
