"Mom, I am going to the mall. I have no life and you always are saying I need to get out more. And don't say those aren't very good reasons to leave the house because they are. You usually say 'because I said so' or something so those are court worthy reasons. And I don't need your money, I am willing to pay for everything myself, so if you say no, I will go dig my face into my computer and wri-nevermind." I quickly ended my sentence as I realized writing a blog about her would be entirely too stupid and revealing. I also realized that all my mother was making was pasta salad, let down.

"You may go." She smirked and cut off the tip of a fresh cucumber, "As long as you realize there was no need for the speech. I would have let you go if you simply said I am going to the mall."

"Doesn't matter, I am working on reason. Debate class is coming up after Winter Break and the seniors who had that class last year always post on that Mavery blog about how hard it is and how much they wish had practiced beforehand." I grabbed a slice of cucumber and turned to walk out of the door. "Bye!" Of course, it isn't time for my "meet and greet" yet, I am going to see a movie. Movies are just masterpieces that couldn't make a person happier. Especially Frozen, which is what I am going to see. I am a huge sucker for Disney movies.

I needed a distraction from the Colton 'drama', and nothing interesting enough was going on for me to write about. Usually drawing would be my distraction, but I haven't drawn since Colton looked at my book. It was so embarrasing and ruined my funk!

Even as I was walking in silence, excluding the birds and cars, my mind wandered on to think about Colton. I mean, my reaction was a little big but still! A new girlfriend already? He had been here for how long? 5 weeks? I have been here all of my life and nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Mavery has people asking her out when they haven't even met her in real life. Once, after one blog I received 8 requests... Its amazing how people are over the internet and in real life.

I arrived at the town's Regal Cinema and payed my twelve bucks for the ticket, ridiculous huh? And then another twelve for the crunch bites and bottled water. That place is lucky that the crunch bites and hydration are important. As I walked into the theater I noticed how packed it was. Who knew so many people understood the genius of these movies! As the movie began, my crunch bites began to dwindle and my water began to disappear, this was the best way anybody could spend their evening.

After the movie

The movie was absolutely AMAZING! I almost cried at the end, I'm a big sap when it comes to movies. But the weird thing is, Titanic is like the biggest sap movie ever and I hardly shed a tear, but when I see things like this and Soul Surfer, my eyes create a new ocean. Call me weird, I tell myself I am too.

It didn't feel right to go home yet, this was an early movie and my mom had to go to a New Year's party at our neighbors house. Our neighbors are the biggest party animals ever. You wouldn't believe them.

My mind was so blank at the moment I could have been on cloud nine..or high. But I don't do that kind of thing, so cloud nine.

I was about to leave but then my stomach rumbled. I guess crunch bites aren't very filling, but more chocolate would just give me acne beyond ends and it took me years to get my skin to the point it is at now, so I need something else to eat. Popcorn smells really good at the moment, I could get it without the butter. But that butter is so good.. it almost makes the popcorn better than the kettle corn they serve at state fairs and stuff. There is literally like nothing better than that. Maybe for my next blog I should go to a state fair and write about having fun. Seems like a reasonable excuse to me. Very reasonable. Maybe I will just do that now! God it pains me how genius I am!

I walked to the curb and called a taxi service. The closest fair is about ten miles away according to google and google maps. Lets do this thing. I climbed in that taxi feeling like a queen. Like Elsa. Maybe I should wear a tiara on the rides. It might fall off but it would be worth it. This will be amazing..
